About: I have worked in veterinary Kennels and in shelters. I am also a certified Dog and Cat trainer through Animal Behavior College in 2013. I have been trained in animal first aide. I have a military I.D. so I can also care for military families as well! I come home on my lunch break to let the dogs run in the yard (we NEVER leave the dogs outside on their own for safety from hawks etc). The longest they are alone is 5 hours. Our live revolve around our own dogs so they will feel like one of the family in no time. We have a fenced .75 acre yard that we stay out with them for safety. Older pups will be carried on any stairs to prevent any falls. Kenneling is a part of our home for safety. But if we are home they are out. The dogs have their own room where they kennel that has safety film on the windows so they can benefit from the light but are not tormented by the squirrels in the trees. Cats are kept in their own area as well. I know how important your dog is and I will treat them the way I would want mine treated. With the exception of errands and taking kids to school I am home full time. We treat visitors as one of the pack. Often our visiting pups like to lounge on the couch when not supervised in the yard. I have a fenced yard and dogs are not left outside unattended (especially the little ones). We have a multi layered floor plan so if a dog needs to be alone for a bit we have the ability to do so.

About: I grew up on the family farm surrounded by dogs and cats and all kinds of animals - caring for them was part of my life. That lifelong connection led me to volunteer at a local dog and cat shelter where I've gained even more experience with pets of all temperaments and needs. My days naturally revolve around the animals I am caring for and I enjoy creating routine that suits their needs. About: Located just 10 minutes west of the Legends of Kansas City, your fur-baby will get the TLC that you’d provide in your own home. Plenty of attention and room to run! I currently work some evenings and weekends in order to homeschool during the day so we are home often. I will be clear about availability during bookings. My family is fur-baby friendly with 4 goats, a flock of chickens, two sweet puppies, and a cat currently. During bookings my two dogs (one is an outdoor farm dog) and cat will be kept separate to ensure the safety and comfort of all. Any medical, training, attention, and care needs will be accommodated as requested by the owner.

About: Hi! We’re Jordan and Austin, and we’re getting married this February after recently moving into our first home together in Parkville, Missouri. We’ve both had dogs our entire lives and absolutely love them, but since we’ll be traveling a lot this year before getting one of our own, we’d love the opportunity to care for other people’s pets and get our much-needed dose of puppy love along the way! One of us is almost always home! I work both from home and in the field, and my fiancé works from home full-time, so your pup will have plenty of company, attention, and love throughout the day. We have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run and play, a spacious basement for indoor playtime when the weather isn’t ideal, and a beautiful neighborhood with great sidewalks for daily walks. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
