Dogs and cats have been part of my life forever, and I guarantee I will treat your pet just like my own—with the utmost love, care, and respect. My current listed rates are a reduced introductory price to help me meet and care for more pets in the community. As demand grows, my prices may increase, but I’m committed to being upfront and transparent about any changes—and I’m always happy to answer any questions or concerns! Repeat clients will have priority for discounted pricing, making it easier for you and your pet to get reliable, consistent care. ☺️ I am fully available Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. I also offer a discounted rate of $23 for house sitting stays on M T W + F, as I do work outside of the home from 7:45 am - 5:45 pm those days but will be there for mornings, evenings and overnights if you have a pet who is comfortable with that time frame or have someone to let them out mid-day. 😊 I am usually available for last minute care requests as well! It's my primary goal to make sure your fur baby first and foremost feels safe and comfortable when I care for them. It can be stressful having someone new come into your space, so allowing time for slow introduction and bonding are very important. I want to be able to build trust and a loving bond with your pet, so both you and them know they're getting top quality care, love and affection from their new human friend.

About: I have a beautiful cat named Lila now and two guinea pigs. I have a lot of experience with pets and love animals. I have pet sat for friends and family. I have been around animals for as long as I can remember. I do enjoy taking photos, so I will send lots of pictures of your fury friend while you’re away. I’m available and can work pet care around my daily and weekly schedule. I’m in between jobs right now so I have a lot of flexibility. I will make sure to watch the animal as if it's my own. I know how important your pet is to you. I will follow any rules given to me regarding your pet. About: I've been caring for animals my entire life, I started working at a dog kennel when I was 14 then I moved to a daycare and I also worked at a rescue. I've had lots of experience in the animal care fields, I've done bathing, nail trims, administered medication, light training, and just all around pup exercise! I've cared for senior pets as well as pups around 5-6 months. Animals are my passion and I treat each one with the respect and care they need to feel safe and comfortable while in my care. Im currently working, but I've been pet sitting for years and wanted to expand now that I have more availability. I'm home from 3:30 on and on Wednesdays and Thursdays all day. My doggies at home run and romp around during the day while I'm at work, I come home on lunch to let them all out to potty and play for a bit and then after work it's non stop until bedtime! :) I have a fenced in backyard for your pup to run and play, also an unfenced front yard for those off leash friends! I have 4 dogs of my own 2 little and 2 big, to keep your furry friends company while they stay. I have numerous crates to use if needed to make your pup comfortable. Your dogs will become my family during their stay here! I send pictures and updates of your pups during their stay, to make you feel more comfortable and see what your furry pal is up too! Having many dogs makes it hard for company but, I come right to you once you arrive, or can sometimes offer pick-up service.

I’ve been fortunate enough to help train my friend’s dogs (the bernadoodle and lab mix in the pictures). By working as a guide at a remote lodge for the last 10 years, I am well versed in caring for larger animals too, including horses, goats, pigs, and more. I’m happy to help care for some of the most important members of your family:) I currently work full time Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule. I often travel to different parts of the New England on the weekends but am happy to care for pets on those days with 1-2 day notice. We have taken care of Dogs, Cats, Parrots, Turtles, Fish, Chickens, Ducks, Goats, Pigs, Horses, worms, snails, etc. If you have some fun and interesting animals we would love to come, meet you and them, and take care of them while you are out of town, or just at work! We welcome pets that love to snuggle in bed, elderly pets, as well as difficult and anxious pets. Sometimes our posted rates don’t meet your special needs pets, and appreciate your patience in the negotiation process. You will get the best available and individualized care of your pets in our home, or yours. Daily updates along with photos and videos of your pet, and have the peace of mind they are being loved and cared for just like you would at your own home. We welcome training opportunities, and can continue treat and/or clicker training and potty training as well. My husband worked at a local Donkey rescue and I have been rescuing Strays since 1985. We both just love and care for animals. The nitty gritty details: We only watch pets from 1 family at a time. This lessens the stress on them, and us, and allows us to give them the BEST care possible. This also costs a bit more. Our time is valuable, as we know yours does as well. While we are capable of hosting multiple pets, we choose to focus our time and care on your families pets 1 at a time. We do require a meet and greet, and sometimes a “trial run” for certain breeds, elderly pets, or pets we will be watching for over 2 days. In most circumstances this is NOT required, but we do want to meet those who are known to have separation anxiety, barking issues, food aggression or aggression in general, have high energy needs, special diets and medications and any pet that doesn’t do well with strangers. Day care pets during the week do need to be fairly well mannered, and not have barking and/or major anxiety issues. Drop off before 8:00am and Pick-Ups after 8:00pm will be charged an additional $10 per hour. Pets not picked up within 15 minutes of the scheduled pick up window will be charged an additional $20/hr. I currently work full time remote, so will have plenty of time to play and care for your pets! We have a regular schedule of play time, including walking or outdoor time every 2-4 hours for 15-30 minutes. We have a fully fenced backyard, and ALWAYS leash ALL pets when outside our yard. We have had several “runners”, corgis and cats that want to bolt for the first sign of freedom… or squirrels/birds etc. We take great caution to make sure your pet is safe at ALL times.

About: I've always loved all animals -- and had my own little neighborhood pet sitting business when I was 10. I grew up with cats, and adopted my own cat as soon as I graduated college and got my own apartment. I had her for 10 years, until I had to put her to sleep due to kitty breast cancer (in 2018). In 2020 I adopted a puppy through a rescue organization, and then added another dog to my family when I married my husband who had a bassett hound. I am presently only offering drop-in visits and dog walks at my clients' homes because I already have 2 dogs at home and would like to keep things separate. When visiting my clients' homes I truly enjoy quality time with your pets, and take care to enter quietly and gently as to allow them to adjust. For cats, I make every effort to pet & play with them the full amount of time for our visit. If they choose to hide, I make an effort to coax them out. For dog visits & walks, I adapt to your dog's personality! I'm happy to sit & pet, or run around & play in the yard -- to their (and your) preference.

I have a 2 year old mini schnauzer who loves all dogs of all sizes and he will make sure your pet has plenty of play time that when you get home they are tired. I work fully remote so I am always home. I have a yard out front and then snowmobile trails behind my apartment where we can go for long walks. I work fully remote from home and will always be around :) I am usually up around 6:30 am and go to bed around 10/10:30 pm I offer a lot of love and attention to all pets. Time slots available from 10am-3pm in the Portland area. Mon-Fri - $50/day for sitting. Give your pets some company with overnight care. I will visit with your dog twice a day (once in the morning and once at night) or I can stay overnight. Safety and following owner's requests are always my number one priority, followed by fun!
