“Patience IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She is very Loving & caring for you fur baby, This is the first time we have left our baby with someone other than family, & we were worried how we would all do. After meeting Patience we felt he was in excellent hands. She was in constant contact by sending pictures of him throughout the day. He was there for 2 weeks & settled in really good after couple days. He gets anxious when we leave him anywhere but Patience calmed our fears. By day 3 he was rolling on his back playing catch with a baby. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PATIENCE FOR ANY & ALL CARE NEEDS. Our fur baby is 16 & really LOVED IT THERE. Her place is very calming, clean, & well maintained. HE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!! YHZNK YOU PATIENCE you can be confident your Durban is well cared for with patience.”

“Josh is awesome and my fellas just love him. Josh continually sent updates and photos and I can honestly say I did not worry about them while I was gone. Thank you for taking such good care of them.”

“Ryleigh came home not only happy, but clean!! I would highly recommend Shannon to keep your baby dog! Ryleigh is a sweet dog but is timid around other dogs until she warms up and gets to know them. Shannon kept me updated on how she was doing and sent pictures.”

“Jenna was wonderful! I knew from the moment we started talking that she would take care of my Addy. She exceeded my expectations and sent me lots of updates and pictures. She is a caring person and I will definitely book her again when we’re in that area. Highly recommend. 10/10.”

About: I have had pets in my life ever since I was little. So I love helping take care of them. I also am very good with puppies and teaching them new tricks, and helping with potty train. I also love helping keep dogs very active, or just chill with them and cuddle! I am a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of free time. All days of the week are good for me. I’m even available on weekends if needed. I have a fenced in backyard. I also have a dog of my own, who loves to play with others and gets along with all sizes. He loves to share his toys or just play together. Or if it’s in your own home, anywhere your fur baby loves to play! I also have dog parks around for your baby to play with or without others, and a nice neighborhood to walk around. Or we can walk around your neighborhood as well!
“Caitlin & Adrik took such great care of my girl! She is very high maintenance and has a special diet, but Caitlin & Adrik were able to accommodate her needs each and every day. They kept me informed of her day-to-day. They sent pictures and videos, and we’re very flexible at the last minute when my travel plans changed suddenly. I highly recommend them to care for your fur babies.”

About: I have been a pet sitter and dog walker for six years. I currently work part-time at a local flower shop that allows for flexibility when I am watching pets. They can come to work with me if they are slower paced and like people. 😊 My husband is deployed with the Army for the next year so I'm hoping to stay busy! Blossom, my 5 year old English Bulldog, loves to make new friends. I have a big fenced in front yard for them to sniff and play. I have gained an extensive pet sitting family. My standards are high and I understand the importance of having a communicative and mindful pet sitter in your home. I have cared for all kinds of animals, in all stages of life and it has been such a fulfilling experience. I love what I do. Every animal is unique and I enjoy learning how to communicate with every one that I meet. I'm a permanent resident here in Apalachicola as of March 2025 and looking to build a new pet family. In my free time, I love visiting parks and beaches if your pup would like to join me! Thank you for taking the time to read about me. Please feel free to message me. Let's set up a meet and greet. :D I work at a local flower shop part-time. Hours are 10-5p and I live 5 minutes away. Being so close allows me to let dogs out in the middle of my shift. I look forward to building a new pet family there! Your pet’s schedule and needs are my priority. Every situation is unique and I take the safety of your pet seriously. I enjoy sending plenty of daily updates and photos.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
