Hannah was amazing with all 3 of my chaotic animals for basically a full week. She took great care of them and kept me updated with some great photos. We will be booking her again next trip!

About: Years of having my own pets lead me into the veterinary field, as a technician. I know the care that I want my pets to receive when I'm away, and I want to share that. I am the the go pet sitter for co-workers and friends for several years now. I'll be sure to provide you with updates while you're away if you wish. Experienced with medicating pets, diet restrictions and giving injections, etc. I understand that your fur kid needs attention and play time just like we do, so I intend to make the most of the time I spend with them. Daily walks and play time are a must. I am available morning and night, and on the weekends. I do have a full time job M-F, but I work from home so I am able to keep your pet at my house with me if that is what you prefer. ***I also love your feline family members and have years of experience with them. I've successfully medicated even the most difficult of cats when owners need it done. I currently work Monday Thursday 8:00-5:00. I am available to do drop ins or walks before or after and a mid day potty break if your home is close enough to my job. We allow all dogs on the furniture, it's a dogs house here! They can sleep on the bed, couch or the multiple dog beds we have around the house. We take our dogs and yours for daily walks and occasionally rides/hikes/out around to pet friendly places. *I do also have a large wire crate and a hard sided kennel for those who can't be left unattended, in case we do have to leave them home for a bit.

About: I've always loved dogs and have been caring for them my whole life—from daily walks to full pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family. I'm comfortable with all breeds and sizes, and I understand that every dog has unique needs. Whether it's medication schedules, behavioral quirks, or just their favorite walking route, I pay attention to the details that matter to you and your pet. I'm also currently training to become a professional groomer, so your dog is in experienced hands. I work for myself, which gives me great flexibility for pet care throughout the week. I'm available most mornings and afternoons for walks and visits, with weekend availability as well. I'm happy to work around your schedule to make sure your pet gets consistent, reliable care. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your specific instructions carefully—whether that's feeding schedules, medication, exercise routines, or house rules. I keep you updated with photos and messages so you have peace of mind while you're away. We live on 6 private acres, so there's plenty of safe space for dogs to explore & no pets of our own if that's a concern (lost our German Shepherd last year and haven't been ready to get another yet). For walks, I use secure leashes/harnesses, stay aware of the environment, and adjust routes based on your dog's energy level and behavior.

Absolutely amazing again. Larraine is so caring both towards the pup and us. We got caught in some travel delays and she was more than flexible and really saved us! Can't say enough how great she is!

About: I’ve owned animals all of my life as well as done pet sitting and housesitting for years. I’m currently signed up with Trusted Housesitters and have references there as well as from other private clients. I have experience taking care of all kinds of animals from cats and dogs to goats, chickens, and horses. I have a very flexible schedule as I own rental properties and can work remotely. I also do residential housekeeping, but my clients are flexible with their cleaning schedules as well. I can bring my dog to your home for doggy play dates or leave her home with the rest of her family if you prefer.

Port Orford pet parents share their Rover experiences

1 / 1
5.0 out of 5 stars

Charlie took great care of our furbabies, house and also checked on our goats & chickens during our week long trip. One of our pups recently had a back injury so needed some special care routine. All our animals appeared to be happy and healthy when we returned - no one seemed stressed or anxious - which tells me they were well loved and looked after by Charlie while we were gone. Charlie also sent a daily pic or video which helped me see how they were doing during our trip. My only feedback would be that any deviations from an owner’s requested routine/plan be communicated in advance before making changes. In our case, none of it negatively impacted the pups, but for anxious owners (like myself), it’s helpful to know that care instructions are being followed or changes proactively communicated and agreed upon beforehand. Overall, I’d recommend Charlie’s housesitting and pet care services!
