“Kendra was fabulous! She’d give me updates and pictures throughout the weekend. This was my first time leaving Toby with someone outside of family and I couldn’t have picked a better person to trust him with! I’ll definitely be using her again!!”

“Jessica and her family are great. First time Riley had been left with someone. She keep us updated and sent pictures. We will definitely be using her next time a sitter is needed.I definitely recommend her??”

“Took great care of Buck. Unfortunately he didn't quite get along with their bulldog but she did am awesome job giving him the attention he needed for my long trip out of town.”

“I’m not sure who is more in love with Patty; my pups or myself.?? Very informative with multiple pictures. Very attentive to both of our needs. A very easy experience with so much compassion and excitement at the same time. Don’t hesitate to embark on using Patty..she is awesome as well as “Uncle Jim”? sharing his chair.?? Will definitely use again!! Very open to your schedule at the very last minute. We love you Patty!!”

“Dennis is dependable and always communicates well. We love the updates he gives when our pups are there. He is very accommodating. His pups are super friendly and our dogs love to play with them in their spacious backyard. We will definitely continue to use Dennis!”

About: I’m an experienced dog and cat foster. I have five cats of my own. I’m able to give medicine if needed as well I am a stay at home Mom, who doesn’t really leave the house so your animal will have constant love and attention with me. I have a very large yard as well as young children to run around and play with your dog. I also have a large crate and small crate if that is what they are needing. If your dog does not like cats no worries, my cats have their own room so they will not be around each other.

“Melissa showed great care for our fur baby Valentino. She ensured he was engaged and even purchased toys for him to play with while under her care. She kept in regular contact with us and shared lots of photos to put us at ease. I absolutely recommend Melissa for your pet care needs.”

“Shaylonn & Richard are amazing! They made it so easy to arrange a meet n' greet, then generously let us adjust our drop off and pick up time as our travel plans fluctuated. I could tell from the daily updates and their attention to his mood and playing that my little dog was so happy and well cared for in their home. Whenever I need to travel, I will definitely book another stay for my dog with them. Highly recommend!”

“Saphire was super great for us!! It was our first time using Rover so we weren't sure what to expect but in the end it was so helpful! We left our pup Lee-Lou with her over the weekend while we went to New Orleans and Lee-Lou was well taken care of and had a lot of fun with her other dogs. Saphire was extremely responsive with texts and also sent us cute pictures of Lee-Lou having fun. She made us feel very comfortable the moment we dropped our dog off with her. I picked up Lee-Lou on Monday and everything was packed up and Lee-Lou was ready for a nap. :) We will for sure let Saphire watch over our pup in the future!! Thank you Saphire! :) :) Theresa & Taylor, Lee-Lou”

“Celeste is a super sitter - 5 star plus plus. She took excellent care of our chocolate lab, a very senior member of our family who is 17+ people years old and needs a little extra help. We are very happy with the love and care shown our old girl, and have found our new sitter of choice.”
“Lindsey and her husband were great and accommodating! I needed a sitter last minute, reached out to her and she accepted instantly. Was willing to do a meet and greet as well. Got update messages, videos and pictures. My sweet Loki does get separation anxiety and won’t eat when he’s away from us, but seeing the pictures of him snuggled in bed and in his natural habitat reassured us that he was definitely happy! Would definitely use her again!!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Port Neches
Michelle was absolutely amazing with Benji and Remy! From the start, she was communicative, kind, and clearly loves what she does. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Both dogs came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would 100% book with her again. Highly recommend!

We had to leave our Tillie girl for 10 days but she was so well taken care of and loved by Andrea and her husband! They took her on walks, to the park several times, and Tillie made new friends with Posie and Winston! We had a couple of snafus with our travel plans as well but Andrea and her husband were flexible and so great!!! Definitely will be leaving our Tillie girl with them next time we travel!!!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
