About: I grew up with a Rottweiler named diamond. She got old and had arthritis so she needed medication at a certain time. Her walks had to be timed and within mobility. I am a full-time student my classes usually end early to mid afternoon, so my time is a little bit more flexible typically I have an hour to two hours in between certain classes. Since growing up with animals, I’m always on high alert whenever I hear like a rustle of a bag or weird noise coming from pets I’m on my feet and checking out what they’re doing and what they’re getting into for their safety. I also try to keep things that are hazardous for animals out of their reach or put up in my home. I have child box on cabinets in my kitchen and my medicine cabinet .
About: One of my biggest joys in life are animals. Every chance I get, I look after the pets of family and friends. I have been watching my grandmas 2 dogs when they go out of town for about 2 years. I have friends who ask me regularly to look after their furry friends for days to weeks at a time. Ive dealt with puppies, animals in need of medication, and non-Potty trained animals. I have stayed night at houses or just stopped by regularly depending on what you prefer. I have worked with pit bulls down to chihuahua's. Aside from just pets I also volunteer at a horse rescue which had an abundance of animals and i have learned a great amount from that experience. Not to mention I have 6 animals of my own (4 cats, 2 dogs) whom I love dearly. I currently work Part-Time at ALDI as a Store Associate. We stay relatively overstaffed therefore i get a maximum of 20 hours a week, leaving me with plenty of time with your pets! Safety is always number one when it comes to all pets im responsible for. I prioritize the wellbeing an an animal as i do myself. For example, At my house we have a fenced in yard for the dogs to play but when my dog was a puppy, she would jump the fence. Therefore i would prioritize letting her out with a leash in the back yard to prevent her from getting harmed off our property.

I love animals and have lots of experience with them. I have experience with dogs both owning and fostering and enjoyed it lots. About: I absolutely love animals and have been taking care of pets since i was about 10 years old! I have experience with all types of dogs, from seniors to young puppies through working with rescues and I have had over 10 foster dogs who I have helped to find homes. I have also aided in training for rescue dogs of all different backgrounds, including issues with separation, anxiety, crate, potty, and obedience training. Outside of the rescue I also have regular pet sitting clients whose pups I have watched for over 5 years and absolutely love! I also have volunteered with Cats Angels in Fernandina Beach and have experience fostering litters of kittens and stray cats. I am back on Amelia Island for the summer but during the school year I attend Florida State University where I am actively involved in the dog rescue Champ’s Chance and it has taught me so much about working with all types and personalities of pups! I am currently working part time and my only set hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am to 12pm, outside of those hours my time is free to be spent with your pets! I am very active and love to go for walks or runs if that is something your pup would like to join me in (usually in the early morning or evenings to avoid that Florida heat!). I have reliable transportation and love to spend time petting, playing, and just lounging around with any animal. I am able to care for pets in their home however needed! I have experience with a variety of medical needs and activity levels, and can do frequent visits, park outings, or stay in your home if that’s what you and your pet are most comfortable with.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
