Cassidy did a great job taking care of my dog while I was gone. She did well with taking her for walks and ensuring she was well cared for. I would highly recommend!

Collin was such a huge help while I was away for the weekend. My cats can be some oddballs but they warmed up to Collin quick! He was very communicative and flexible which I absolutely appreciated. Definitely will be booking with him again for future visits!

About: My name is Matthew and I am an avid pet and house sitter in the Olean area! I love all animals and would be happy to give expert care to your pet! My rates are affordable and rest assured your pet will get all of the love that you give them at home. I have the energy and commitment to give frequent walks and potty breaks. I have been caring for pets since a young age, and I even volunteer very often at the local SPCA so that I can up my experience. I am 24 years old and I love all animals so you can book me knowing your pet will be cared for, fully tired out from walks, and happy for sure. We have three dogs in our house and they love other dogs. Two are Blue Heelers and the third is a trained therapy dog, who is a mini golden doodle. I am working full time on. a flexible schedule. My dogs go to daycare on Tuesday and Thursday. I am able to get home between 1-2 hours all day and provide potty breaks and a lot of attention and exercise (we are used to this with our two boys who need at least 5 miles of running or equal activity a day). I have a fenced in yard, as many toys as possible, treats, snacks, and all the love to provide. Your pets will feel like they are in their home away from home. :)

About: About Me My family owned an animal kennel rescue for several years, which gave me valuable hands-on experience and taught me how to stay calm and act quickly in emergency situations. That background has given me a deep respect for animals and the ability to respond with care when unexpected things happen. I’ve been in situations where I needed to act fast—whether an animal was injured or in distress—and I want you to know that if anything were to happen to your fur baby, I’m prepared to respond. What I Offer • Attentive, compassionate care for your cat or dog • A commitment to go above and beyond so your pet feels safe, loved, and happy • An understanding of how hard it can be for pets to be away from their family, and the patience to comfort them through it My Promise I want you to enjoy your trip or focus on your work without worrying if your pet is being cared for properly. With me, you can feel confident that your little one will be treated like family and return to you just as happy—if not happier—than when you left. No more wondering—book me today! I can’t wait to meet your pet. Pet care is part of my everyday routine—I make time each morning and evening for walks, play, and cuddles. I’m available throughout the week and weekends, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs. Safety and trust are my top priorities. In my home, pets have a cozy, pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to play and rest. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines exactly, keep doors and gates secure, and provide regular updates so you feel confident your furry friend is safe and happy.

Elizabeth is capable and friendly, and easy to communicate with. She clearly knows how to care for animals, and my two dogs and cat took to her right away. I feel secure in leaving my pets in her care.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
