About: I have always had a dog in my life. I knew I would work with Dogs forever. I started Grooming in 1992 .In 2005 i opened my own Grooming Business and was Successful for 17 years. I Retired Dec 2021.I was Missing the Dogs so i started dog sitting I'm currently working part-time, so i will have plenty of time to play with your pups! Weekends are no problem I work everything on a schedule Everything would be at your home I can not watch any dogs at my house. My Lab would be to upset. Plus i am sure your fur baby would be more happy at there home and in there environment

About: I grew up on a farm where I cared for upwards of 20+ family dogs (of all ages, sizes, and demeanors), many cats, horses, miniature ponies, chickens, and more. If it has four legs, chances are I have probably cared for one at least once in my lifetime. Our house always had at least three or four dogs at a time, so I am well versed in the art of managing multiple strong personalities at once. My first dog I adopted myself was special needs beagle, and I am very comfortable with assisting with dogs who have higher needs. That beagle lived a long happy life before he crossed that rainbow bridge, and I've just welcomed in a bloodhound puppy about a year ago named Gus. He is a wonderful testament to the hard work my partner and I have dedicated to turning him into a good dog, and he plays well with any dog he meets, no matter if they play rough or gentle, or if they're timid or chaotic. I am also a registered nurse and I am a quick study to any health needs your pet may have. I am local to the OBX and have many different options up my sleeve when it comes to keeping your pup entertained and active during our time together, as well as knowledge of where to avoid so that your pup doesn't end up with any sand spurs. I've handled dogs all my life, and have yet to meet a dog who challenged me (even aggressive ones who had run off previous sitters). I look forward to hearing about you and your pups needs and providing attention to detail and rounded care to your dog as if they were my own. I work as a middle school nurse from the second week in August to the first week in June. My summers allow me to have open availability to serve the pet owner community. If you have pet care needs during the school year, I do have availability on weekends, or after 4pm on week days. I intend to treat the dogs I care for as my own, so the structure I follow mirrors how I work with my own dog. Dogs get potty breaks and brief walks at minimum every three hours, more often if the weather is good. Once or twice a day (weather permitting) I go for what I call "a big romp" -- this can be running and playing fetch on a small private soundside beach within my neighborhood, a walk on the big beach, a visit to the dog park (which would only happen if owner and I have discussed this), a stroll through Nags Head Woods or around the Wright Brother's monument. As we move into summer, these activities will be limited by the heat so I tend to do these early in the day or at sunset/dusk to avoid dogs overheating. I always carry with me some treats and a bottle of water for the doggo. If the weather is poor or it's just too hot for larger scale activities, I like to invoke puzzle toys, treats wrapped up in towels, or burying treats and toys in the dig pit I've built in my back yard.

About: I have hands-on experience raising my own dog, Bentley, who is just over a year old. Taking care of him has taught me patience, consistency, and how to understand a dog’s needs at every stage. We spend a lot of time going on walks, playing ball, and playing tug-of-war, so I’m very comfortable keeping dogs active, engaged, and happy. What sets me apart is the genuine care I have for every animal I look after. I don’t just “watch” pets—I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’m attentive to routines, good at reading behavior, and I always take the time to build trust with each pet so they can relax and have fun. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I already care for my own dog, Bentley. I’m used to planning my day around walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and making sure he gets plenty of attention. I have a flexible schedule, so I can easily include additional pets and give them the same level of care, time, and consistency. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, no matter where they are. In my home, I keep a clean, pet-friendly space with plenty of room to play and relax. I stick to their usual routine for feeding, walks, and sleep so they feel at ease, and I always supervise playtime. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely to keep things consistent for their pet. I pay attention to behavior, make sure they’re secure at all times, and give them lots of love and attention. My goal is to build trust with both you and your pet so you can feel confident they’re in good hands.

About: I’ve had dogs in my home my entire life and have always been an animal lover ever since I was a child! A fun little backstory about me...most teenagers get jobs to have money to go to the mall or whatever it is that they want to do, well my goal was to save up all the money I made and get my own puppy. That was one of the best things I ever did, I had her for 16 years. Other than having dogs all my life, I also have kennel technician and veterinary assistant experience. Before I moved back to North Carolina, I was working the front desk at a non profit animal hospital. I feel that I am a very genuine and good hearted person. I am willing to walk/jog/run/play fetch, honestly, I will do pretty much anything to make them happy while you’re away and would love to build a relationship with your fur baby!! I’m a stay at home mom, so my schedule is pretty open every day!♥️. It’s just my 4 year old and I until about 4pm Monday-Friday, so as long as your fur baby is good with kids anytime from early morning until then works! After 4 I have open availability without him (incase your baby isn’t good with kids). My weekends are generally 100% open so I’d love to help in any way that I can! About: I currently have two young Lab pups who needs all the attention. I understand the needs of puppies but also of senior dogs. My parents had many dogs while I was growing up and I’ve learned how to fit every dogs needs. I am currently a stay at home dog mom so I will have plenty of time to care for all your animals needs! About: I raised puppies before having children. It was rewarding and fun. I am a good natured person as and believe dogs will be good for me. I always do the best I can to be loving and gentle. I'm helping to care for a 10-year-old grandson. I am able to fit this into my schedule very easily. I have my own transportation so that won't be a problem either I will do my best to walk the dog safely and to make sure they have food and water. I will also make sure that they feel loved

About: I have had and taken care of dogs since I was younger. My family has had mini Aussies and I am familiar with high energy, chill, and a variety of breeds. I have experience working in a family friends boarding business and love spending time with dogs! I also have previous volunteer experience in an animal shelter. Whether it be walking or dropping in I’m excited to meet your pet! I work a full time job however have been wanting to do this as a side gig for a while now. Throughout the week I am most often off on Thursdays/Fridays and when working during the week get home usually before 7pm. I value time outside and think it’s just as important for your pets. I have experience having family dogs and taking care of them. I am not looking to board or keep at my residence though. In the clients home making sure they have water, are fed at their regular time, walk times specific for your pet, and giving them adequate amounts of attention time.

About: Hi, I’m Yanna! I’m a local OBX babysitter, and a big part of my work is being someone families can trust in their homes. Along with caring for children, I’ve also cared for pets during house sits and vacation stays, so I’m very comfortable following routines, respecting someone’s space, and keeping pets cared for while their family is away. I have four dogs at home, so I’m used to the everyday things that come with pet care — feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up, keeping an eye on behavior, and giving lots of attention. I’m also happy to follow detailed notes and send photo updates so you feel comfortable while you’re gone. My schedule is created by me, so I’m able to plan ahead and make sure I have more than enough time for the pets I care for. Since I work as a local babysitter and house sitter, I’m used to managing my own bookings and only accepting jobs when I know I can fully commit. During house sits, drop-ins, or walks, I always make sure there is enough time for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, updates, and anything else your pet needs. I’m very respectful of each family’s home and each pet’s routine. During visits or house sits, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, crates, medication reminders, doors/gates, and any house rules. I like detailed notes and will always make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

About: I have cared for dogs, as well as all kinds of other animals my entire life! I have a 3 year old Pitt mix named Sophie who is absolutely precious and LOVES other dogs. I work in the husbandry department at the aquarium so I am comfortable with all animals including fish, reptiles, spiders, etc. ❤️ I currently work full time, with Fridays and Saturdays off. I am available after 5pm Sunday-Thursday with full availability on my days off. I am flexible with last minute requests as well I will care for your pups in your home by doing absolutely anything you request. I can crate dogs, or do anything that the owner would like! About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and love them all. I have been petless for the last year since we lost our corgi to cancer. We are not ready to get a new dog yet but this service allows me to get my pet fix and help out dogs…and their owners. I currently do not have a real world job so I am open to any kind of schedule. The closer to home the better, though. I have a small fenced yard and live in a quiet dead end neighborhood. I am open to care in my home or yours. I also have a medium sized crate from my corgi if needed and lots of toys and snuggly beds.

About: I have three dogs with my family. A Great Pyrenees, German shepherd, and English Retriever. Which we raised from puppies. We have also raised chickens. I have always grown up with animals and will love and take care of yours like family. I am a college student with a very flexible schedule, Monday-Sunday. I have taken care of several multi-pet households from high energy german shepherds to the biggest of couch potatoes. I have taken care of dogs and cats in the same household and will maintain their routine and give them many potty breaks. PS: I know my photos dont look the best whoever I am working on it and you will receive many updates on your pets day I am a college student so my schedule is very flexible and allows me all the time in the world to love your pets. I am available Monday-Sunday starting at 10am til whenever I am needed I will follow whatever schedule you give to the letter. The average day would be breakfast in morning with a 30 min to an 1hr walk to give them all the time to digest and get that energy out. In the afternoon I will either play with them outside or go on another walk. In the evening is dinner and another walk or playtime so they can take that well deserved nap. In between those walks I will always be near and doting on your pet (unless they show discomfort) and making sure they get there potty breaks and water is filled. I couldn't imagine treating your pet anyless than my own.
