About: Hi, my name is Sarah -- I am 28 and grew up in Virginia with dogs and horses my whole life, and as such, have been sitting for friends' and family's animals (and kids!) since high school. Upon leaving Virginia, I missed having pets of my own, so always love the opportunity to take care of others' fur friends when they need. I work fully remotely, so while I cannot board at my place, I am easily able to stay at yours for in-house pet sitting, as well as come for as many drop-ins, or take your dog(s) out for as many walks as they want, throughout the day! I have experience watching all sizes of dogs, and up to as many as four (large!) dogs of all ages (plus some cats) at once, so I am likely to be comfortable with whatever combination you have in your home! I work fully remotely, so can pretty much make any pet care routine work into my schedule, dependent on your needs for your fur friends! I adapt to any set of needs or circumstances since each dog is different and has their own likes and dislikes, especially when it comes to their parents being away or interacting with new people.

About: I’ve had a high maintenance dog since I was 8 years old. I have had 12 years of taking her for runs, playing with her and keeping her healthy and active! I have also always enjoyed going to local shelters to walk dogs! I am currently working part time in Sioux City. I will have a good bit of availability in afternoons and weekends to care for your lovely pups! I will be respectful of your home and your animals, and will follow any and all instructions given. I have been known by friends, family, and employers, to be trustworthy and hardworking!

About: I raised puppies before having children. It was rewarding and fun. I am a good natured person as and believe dogs will be good for me. I always do the best I can to be loving and gentle. I'm helping to care for a 10-year-old grandson. I am able to fit this into my schedule very easily. I have my own transportation so that won't be a problem either I will do my best to walk the dog safely and to make sure they have food and water. I will also make sure that they feel loved

About: I grew up on a farm where I cared for upwards of 20+ family dogs (of all ages, sizes, and demeanors), many cats, horses, miniature ponies, chickens, and more. If it has four legs, chances are I have probably cared for one at least once in my lifetime. Our house always had at least three or four dogs at a time, so I am well versed in the art of managing multiple strong personalities at once. My first dog I adopted myself was special needs beagle, and I am very comfortable with assisting with dogs who have higher needs. That beagle lived a long happy life before he crossed that rainbow bridge, and I've just welcomed in a bloodhound puppy about a year ago named Gus. He is a wonderful testament to the hard work my partner and I have dedicated to turning him into a good dog, and he plays well with any dog he meets, no matter if they play rough or gentle, or if they're timid or chaotic. I am also a registered nurse and I am a quick study to any health needs your pet may have. I am local to the OBX and have many different options up my sleeve when it comes to keeping your pup entertained and active during our time together, as well as knowledge of where to avoid so that your pup doesn't end up with any sand spurs. I've handled dogs all my life, and have yet to meet a dog who challenged me (even aggressive ones who had run off previous sitters). I look forward to hearing about you and your pups needs and providing attention to detail and rounded care to your dog as if they were my own. I work as a middle school nurse from the second week in August to the first week in June. My summers allow me to have open availability to serve the pet owner community. If you have pet care needs during the school year, I do have availability on weekends, or after 4pm on week days. I intend to treat the dogs I care for as my own, so the structure I follow mirrors how I work with my own dog. Dogs get potty breaks and brief walks at minimum every three hours, more often if the weather is good. Once or twice a day (weather permitting) I go for what I call "a big romp" -- this can be running and playing fetch on a small private soundside beach within my neighborhood, a walk on the big beach, a visit to the dog park (which would only happen if owner and I have discussed this), a stroll through Nags Head Woods or around the Wright Brother's monument. As we move into summer, these activities will be limited by the heat so I tend to do these early in the day or at sunset/dusk to avoid dogs overheating. I always carry with me some treats and a bottle of water for the doggo. If the weather is poor or it's just too hot for larger scale activities, I like to invoke puzzle toys, treats wrapped up in towels, or burying treats and toys in the dig pit I've built in my back yard.

About: I have had and taken care of dogs since I was younger. My family has had mini Aussies and I am familiar with high energy, chill, and a variety of breeds. I have experience working in a family friends boarding business and love spending time with dogs! I also have previous volunteer experience in an animal shelter. Whether it be walking or dropping in I’m excited to meet your pet! I work a full time job however have been wanting to do this as a side gig for a while now. Throughout the week I am most often off on Thursdays/Fridays and when working during the week get home usually before 7pm. I value time outside and think it’s just as important for your pets. I have experience having family dogs and taking care of them. I am not looking to board or keep at my residence though. In the clients home making sure they have water, are fed at their regular time, walk times specific for your pet, and giving them adequate amounts of attention time.

About: I grew up taking care of cats and dogs. I was also a ranch hand in Colorado which taught me extensive knowledge of taking care of outdoor animals. I'm very comfortable giving medications! I'm currently working full time at a property management company and they are flexible with any of my scheduling needs. I'm available to ahere to strict schedules. I will not be available to house your pet in my home, my cat is not friendly with other animals. I can make as many visits or stay at your home as needed.

About: I have three dogs with my family. A Great Pyrenees, German shepherd, and English Retriever. Which we raised from puppies. We have also raised chickens. I have always grown up with animals and will love and take care of yours like family. I am a college student with a very flexible schedule, Monday-Sunday. I have taken care of several multi-pet households from high energy german shepherds to the biggest of couch potatoes. I have taken care of dogs and cats in the same household and will maintain their routine and give them many potty breaks. PS: I know my photos dont look the best whoever I am working on it and you will receive many updates on your pets day I am a college student so my schedule is very flexible and allows me all the time in the world to love your pets. I am available Monday-Sunday starting at 10am til whenever I am needed I will follow whatever schedule you give to the letter. The average day would be breakfast in morning with a 30 min to an 1hr walk to give them all the time to digest and get that energy out. In the afternoon I will either play with them outside or go on another walk. In the evening is dinner and another walk or playtime so they can take that well deserved nap. In between those walks I will always be near and doting on your pet (unless they show discomfort) and making sure they get there potty breaks and water is filled. I couldn't imagine treating your pet anyless than my own.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was eight years old. Including puppies and rescuing senior dogs. Some of the senior dogs were at the end of their life so I understand the need for compassion and care. I currently have a two year old puppy which I have trained since she was five months old. So I am very versed in the need for daily exercise, consistent training, and daily enrichment. I’ve been dog sitting for at least ten years. Including extended stays at my residence. I’m currently a part time worker, looking for something to fill my extra time. So I have a very flexible schedule and I’m always ready for some extra dog time. My goal is to always put your pets need first. Including any care they need. Including cleaning up after them and any extra medications they may need. Also adding comfort and safety in stressful situations.

About: I have been surrounded by all sorts of pets since childhood - from dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles, and fish! There isn’t an animal that I don’t love. I am a pet parent myself to 3 incredible dogs, including a pit bull, Saint Bernard, and a German Wirehaired Pointer. I have experience with specific breeds of dogs who have very specific needs and love to participate in their training! Pets are family to me and I would love to make sure your family is well taken care of, always! I am currently transitioning from full time to part time work so I will have even more time to play and care for your pets! I work 9 am until 5:30 pm on the days that I do work so I am able to maintain a routine schedule for your animals if that is what they need! I have experience caring for multiple dogs at a time, especially dealing with different personalities, training needs, play styles, and temperaments. I am able to gauge any situation to ensure safety is the top priority.

About: Hey! I am currently in school to be a vet! I can walk dogs 24/7 and give them all the loving! This would be a great way for me to expand my jobs with watching your dogs! I usually am up by 8am and spend most of the day with my dog while I do schooling at home. I’m mostly free of the day besides for leaving for work or getting my brother! I have a small dog who I feed, walk & play with. We do have a dog run in my apartments and I always take my dog out to play with his toys. I also love taking him for runs.
