About: What sets me apart is from the amount of expensive I’ve had with animals. 3 years in pet sitting but my parents were breeders so I grew up with animals. I treat them like my best friend! I ensure my care and love gets through to them to make them as happy as possible while giving them much attention I baby sit mid day I won’t be there then but every other time I will and I’m able to do over night. My husband works 7 minutes away in case of any emergency and is a volunteer firefighter who runs for exercise and would love to bring your dog along! I can train your dog to speak on command in 1-2 weeks; will start it and show you how (it's not hard!) if the stay is shorter. I have trained my own dogs basic commands plus more in the past. We have a 15 month old tabby cat (bottle raised) who loves to play with cats and dogs and has been tested negative for FIV and FELV; up to date on his shots and neutered. We also have an 8 month old female Ragdoll who's spayed and has been tested negative for FIV and FELV; up to date on her shots. We would love to babysit your kitty (no intact male cats over 5 months). You will receive AT LEAST one photo per day via text with an update on how your fur baby's doing. I am also a talented amateur photographer so you'll have expressive fun pics of your fur baby. You'll receive digital copies in texts! If you love your pics, tips are greatly needed and appreciated! Note: I may use some pics of your pet to build my photography portfolio and post here on Rover. Also offer: Full Groom with bath, blow dry, brush out & claws clipped $25. for cats and dogs. That includes trimming excess fur from the paws as needed. (Long hair cats benefit from trimming out the fur from between the paw pads; it doesn't show from the top.) If your dog stays for 7 days or more, a weekly bath is included! Note: if your pet will bite with nail clipping it won't be done! In that case, we will give a bath/blow dry. Sometimes I'll give a free trim with the bath if it's a Schnauzer or Yorkie type that needs it but will check with you first. Final note: Tips are appreciated (but not necessary)! I only mention it because most people don't realize they can, or how much more they're getting when they trust their pet to us. Although you will be receiving awesome digital photos of your baby, I will be gaining experience and shots for my portfolio, so don't feel like you have to tip; but it is really appreciated if you'd like to! “Tessa was so kind as to watch my pup for the weekend. I did get text updates and did not have to worry about my pup’s food or safety. The reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 is because I spent an entire day cleaning my home so this would be nice and clean when she arrived. While I knew she and her daughter would be staying at my house, my ring camera said otherwise. The whole family stayed at my house all weekend. I would not have minded this had it been mentioned up front and had there been no further concerns…however upon my return home the following was present: my living room was a mess, there were dirty tissues in one of my bins by the couch, there were food stains on the couch, all of my placemats at the dinner table had red koolaid stains on them (nobody told me this happened and it ruined my placemats…$100 worth and stained my couch), there were red koolaid colored fingerprints that stained my pantry door. I tried to scrub it off and now have to repaint. While the overall service pertaining to my dog and Tessa’s kindness where 100% excellent, I am not made of money and work very hard to provide for myself since I have one income…and I was very very very upset and sad when I returned home to find my house left in this condition. Tessa once again, thank you for watching my sweet girl. I know having a family is tough and busy when also being a dog sitter…please don’t be upset. I just am so sad that I had to come home to ruined $100 worth of placements, couch, door, etc and nobody mentioned this to me at all. I now have to fork out money to get new placemats, clean my couch, and paint my door. That is unfair to me as a paying customer. I’m also upset that you weren’t straightforward with me about your whole family being there instead of just you and your daughter as our messages confirmed. I would not have had an issue if I was told this upfront and my house/items that I work 60+ hrs/week for weren’t destroyed when I got home.”
