“It was a hot day at the beach and I didn’t feel comfortable taking my dog with me. I needed someone to watch my dog for a few hours. Vas was wonderful! She was very friendly, responsive, and the communication with her couldn’t have been any easier. She kept me updated on my dog and sent me pictures. I spent my time at the beach with absolute peace of mind knowing that she is watching my dog closely and he is receiving the best service. My dog loved her and her daughter. About: I love dogs. I've always had dogs growing up and they've always been a big part of my life. When your dog is in my care, he/she will be treated like family. I do not crate any dogs in my care unless requested. Meet my pets I have two dogs. An 8yr old Maltese named Charlie. He loves to play and he could play all day long. He's full of energy and gets along with all breeds/sizes. I also have a lab mix his name is Jesse and he is 11 yrs old. He is also very sweet and gets along great with his little brother and every dog he comes in contact with. About my yard I live in an townhome with a gated backyard with grass. There are couches that the dogs love to lay on. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral medications to dogs. I have experience administering pills and eye medication. I took care of a very ill dog for close to 2yrs. I have experience treating eye conditions as well. I work from home with an extremely flexible schedule. I make my own hours so I have plenty of time to care for your furbaby. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs that would love to play with your pup. I could also separate my dogs if necessary. If your dog is being crate trained, I could accommodate that as well.

About: Following the passing of our beloved 13 year old furbaby Zoe shortly after Christmas in 2024, my husband Kenny and I decided to honor her memory by offering dog boarding services in our home. We wanted to create a space where other dogs would receive the same love and care that Zoe did while their owners are traveling or away. Now that we are both retired and home full-time, we are able to provide a calm, comfortable, and loving environment for dogs, free from the stress often found in traditional kennels. Our home offers a peaceful setting where dogs receive individualized attention and care - no concrete kennels or constant barking, just a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Both Kenny and I have had dogs throughout our lives, often with two or three dogs at a time, as we do now. We have always adopted rescue dogs and regularly foster, with the aim of giving dogs a better future and a loving home. We have never, ever regretted this commitment. Currently, our family includes two dogs and two cats, all of whom get along well, are low-key, and are deeply loved. We have ample space and resources to care for your dog (or dogs!) as well, and would be delighted to do so. Additionally, we are pleased and honored to offer very low cost long-term boarding for any military service members who are deploying and need assistance caring for their dogs while they are away. Please feel free to reach out for more information. My husband and I are retired and have ample time and resources to provide exceptional care for your dog, just as we do for our own pets, as well as those of our friends and family. Although we do not have a fenced yard, we walk your dogs leashed. We live out in the country on a lake, in the middle of nowhere on our own private 2 acres, on a dead end cul-de-sac with no traffic at all. We have a very large 20'x30' detached game room that is our hangout space, and would be where the dogs played indoors and could bed down. We have smoke detectors and a monitored alarm system that covers the house and game room. We have an excellent Vet available in Newberry, as well as access to a visiting emergency Vet service here at the house. There are no children or aggressive dogs here.

About: I have had animals my whole life, never been able to live without at least 2. I love working with animals and their unique personalities. Every animal has their own quirks, and I would love to help care for your fur baby! I am available any days for boarding. Ruth and I go for a walk in the morning, in the evening, as well as playing out in the yard in between. We spend most of the night playing or lounging around the house. Ruth is typically crated at home, and I would prefer for your dog to have a crate as well so they have a space all to their own while staying with us. I have a large yard and a fence, and always monitor the dogs when outside. When interacting with any animal, I always make sure to be calm and gentle. I do my best to read animal body language and predict and prevent situations before they happen.

About: Ever since I was a child I have had a passion for taking care of animals: From fostering dogs as a child, getting my first job in a boarding facility, and 5 years as a veterinary technician. With my depth of experience from the veterinary field I can administer medication, provide care to those with special needs, and ensure a safe and healthy environment while providing love and affection. I work entirely from home and am available at all times of the day. I never would leave any dog unattended except for short periods, in which they would be safely crated. I take the utmost care to provide a safe and healthy environment for all pets including my own. I am meticulous in keeping our home clean, preventing any potential hazards of being in reach of animals, and ensuring there is clean water available at all times. At the same time, I want every guest to feel at home, and believe in animals having access to as much space as possible, feeling comfortable to sleep on the furniture and explore the house while supervised.

About: Hello y’all! I am very experienced in training dogs and caring for dogs, cats, and most other animals. I have a lot of knowledge about dog and cat health, along with other animals (reptiles, birds, horses, etc.), and different breeds. My prior amazing pittie, Bo Peep, was deaf. Thus, I know ASL commands and signs from training her myself. So, I am able to work well with other deaf/hard-of-hearing animals. I’ve been lucky enough to have and/or care for all sorts of animals throughout my entire life, especially growing up as a feral child (haha) in Florida. I always tried to bring animals home (often to my mom’s dismay), and I’ve worked with various animals (e.g. birds of all sizes, reptiles, cats and dogs especially, horses, amphibians, fish, and some other farm animals). I have no problem giving medication or following any medical-related plans. I work with pets of all ages. I look forward to meeting y’all! I am currently a therapist that works remotely from home, so I am able to be with fur babies in-between clients throughout the day to meet their needs. I am very active, so plenty of walks for pups! With dogs and cats, I try to provide them with as much mental stimulation that I can (and maybe a few treats).

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was little. I’ve taken care of, feed played with and walked family and friends dogs and always made sure they were safe I’m currently not working so I have time to play and walk with your pups. I am able to board any day of the week at anytime! I do not have a fenced in yard but can assure you that your pups will be safe at all times. I have an older dog (8 yrs) who is the absolute best with other puppies!
