About: Following the passing of our beloved 13 year old furbaby Zoe shortly after Christmas in 2024, my husband Kenny and I decided to honor her memory by offering dog boarding services in our home. We wanted to create a space where other dogs would receive the same love and care that Zoe did while their owners are traveling or away. Now that we are both retired and home full-time, we are able to provide a calm, comfortable, and loving environment for dogs, free from the stress often found in traditional kennels. Both Kenny and I have had dogs throughout our lives, often with two or three dogs at a time, as we do now. We have always adopted rescue dogs and regularly foster, with the aim of giving dogs a better future and a loving home. We have never, ever regretted this commitment. Currently, our family includes two dogs and two cats, all of whom get along well, are low-key, and are deeply loved. We have ample space and resources to care for your dog (or dogs!) as well, and would be delighted to do so. Additionally, we are pleased and honored to offer very low cost long-term boarding for any military service members who are deploying and need assistance caring for their dogs while they are away. We have smoke detectors and a monitored alarm system that covers the house and game room. Every animal has their own quirks, and I would love to help care for your fur baby! I am available any days for boarding. Ruth and I go for a walk in the morning, in the evening, as well as playing out in the yard in between. We spend most of the night playing or lounging around the house. Ruth is typically crated at home, and I would prefer for your dog to have a crate as well so they have a space all to their own while staying with us. I have a large yard and a fence, and always monitor the dogs when outside. When interacting with any animal, I always make sure to be calm and gentle. I do my best to read animal body language and predict and prevent situations before they happen.

Getting out and throwing balls, frisbees, sticks, etc is one of my favorite things to do with my own dogs and it's another great form of exercise for your pup! All animals are precious and deserve all the love and care that they can get and I consider it a privilege for me to help you provide that for your furry family member!! I'm currently volunteering part-time which allows me a more flexible schedule which in turn makes it easier to accommodate to the scheduling needs of my Rover clients!! Every one of our beloved pets are different with wonderful, unique personalities of their own! I always offer and recommend a meet and greet to get to know you & your fuzzy friends & vise versa...as well a to taylor each visit to your pet's unique individual needs! (Eg, important medical information, personality quirks or anxites, etc) My goal is to create a dream vacation experience for your furry loved one; Full of playful fun & exercise; cuddles & belly rubs; custom meal plans with your choice of treats & toys to their liking & potty breaks galore! I love & care for each of your furry family members as If they are my own, & as a pet parent myself, I know the importance of having peace of mind by trusting that they are safe and in good hands when you are away! It is my promise that by the end of every visit, walk, overnight stay, etc....that your pet will feel Happy, Healthy, Full, Loved, & worn out from Fun!!!!!

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and couldn’t imagine it any other way. My cat Chanel has been with me for 5 years and my cocker spaniel Bentley for 1 year. I’ll treat your pets like my own with plenty of walks, cuddles, and love. I know how important it is to feel at ease when you’re away from your fur babies and I’ll make sure they’re happy and cared for. I have a flexible schedule and am able to go home throughout the day and check on your pet if I’m not already home. I am usually home all weekend and if not then your pet is welcome to join my activities! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet‑friendly apartment community with three dog parks, giving plenty of safe space to run and play. I’ll always keep a close eye on them, provide fresh water, and make sure they feel happy, loved, and cared for in a secure environment.
