This was the first time anyone would be taking care of a dog of mine outside of family or friends so I was worried to find the right person and unsure about a stranger taking care of my "child" but when I met Diane I felt so comfortable that my Phoebe was in safe hands and that she understood her needs and would care for her like a member of her own family. It's clear immediately how much Diane loves / has a passion for dogs and is a very caring / welcoming person. This was also the first time I would be away from my girl so I appreciated so much the frequent updates from Diane and that Diane took the time to understand Phoebe's personality and I felt she listened to my concerns and reassured me about anything and I knew my Phoebe was in great hands and also having such a fun time. We were visiting Topsail for the week from northern Virginia and sadly couldn’t bring Anya with us because of our beach house rental’s rules. BUT that turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because we found Sarah! From the very start of the booking process to the moment we picked Anya up, Sarah was a fantastic communicator. She sent us daily photos, videos, and updates, which we loved and looked forward to receiving. It was wonderful to see Anya having so much fun and to know she was in such good hands. Sarah’s experience with dogs was clear from the start, especially in how smoothly she handled introductions with her own dog, her cat, and the other pup staying with her. Sarah even managed to coax our picky eater into finishing her meals most of the time (no small feat, even for us!). I HIGHLY recommend Sarah and will absolutely book Anya to stay with her again the next time we’re in the area.”
