About: I have been around pets my whole life! I have taken care of each and every pet I’ve had. I have always had either a dog or cat in my house. And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. I have my own mini farm, where I have pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys! So if you need any of those types of animals cared for I can do that too! I have a very flexible schedule so I basically have the whole day to come take care of any pets! I have plenty of time to come and hang out with your furry family! I have four loving dogs that get outside all day long because I have so much time during the day and a very large fenced in backyard. We go on walks all the time! We can have a pet play date if your pet likes other dogs. If you need your pet needs to crated, I can do that. If they need soothing music put on, I can do that too!

About: I've always had a big heart for all animals. Growing up, we weren't allowed to have any pets larger than a rabbit- so I worked with that. We had fish, turtles, a lizard, chinchilla, but always begged for more. On my 12th birthday was when my sister and I were finally granted a miracle- our mother was allowing for us to adopt a set of kittens. From there, our furry family grew. We now have another cat and two dogs! When working to prove our responsibility, my sister and I took it upon ourselves to become our neighborhoods pet sitter and walker. In school, I had won an award for dedicating most community service hours where I volunteered to help at my local animal shelter. After high school I moved a lot for school and work, so had to leave behind my furry family behind at my familys home. Today in NC I have a small pup and rescued stray cat. They are the lights of my life and I would love to share some love with your fur baby as well!
About: I love animals, I am currently going to school to become a Marine Veterinarian. I also did an Internship at an Animal Hospital for about a year and a half. I have personally been taking care of animals since I was about 14. I had a husky for almost 12 years, I had to give her baths, take her on walks, and feed her. I now have a Shih Tzu and for her, I have to take her to her hair cut appointments, her vet appointments, give her baths twice a week, walk her and feed her. I also took care of my Grandma’s cat and I had to take her to hair cut appointments, feed her, and clean her litter box. I am hardworking and also put 110% into everything I do. About: We have been taking care of dogs since 2018! We are so enjoying it!! Hubby walks the dogs and I cuddle and play! It's a win win for your fur baby! For doggie day care we are available between 8 am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Would love long term . We do have one small dog. For boarding we are available both weekdays and weekends. We have a nice fenced-in backyard and my husband takes the dogs out for walks when possible! When that option isn't available,they have dedicated playtime in the yard.We have one dog that is not initially playful but takes a while to warm up but he does typically! I do require a meet and greet before committing and for pets to show proof of rabies shots,heartworm and flea and tic treatments. I work part time outside the home but my hubby works part time in the home so rarely are we both gone at the same time. I have a fenced in yard and my husband tries to walk our dog daily.Typically will hit the area walking trails. If necessary, he is willing to walk animals separately(older dog who can not walk as long or dogs who have health challenges)Our dog is aloof and takes a bit of time to adjust but usually does. We are attentive to this and supervise very closely until we see how things are going to be. We own both a large and small dog crate and can separate them if needed
About: I didn't have dogs growing up but I always pet-sat for friends and family. I have dog-sat, walked, and groomed dogs of all sizes. I also grew up riding horses so I have a ton of experience handling dogs and other animals together. My first dog was a 100 pound German shepherd/ Rottweiler mix who was my heart and soul. We lived with a big Rottweiler for a few years so I got very comfortable handling multiple large dogs on my own. Then when I got married my ex husband and I had my old dog, two pit bulls, and a cattle dog/ jack russel mix. I was there sole care taker and they taught me so much. I got divorced and it was just me and my shepherd, who sadly passed away in 2022. Fast forward to now and I have a 5 year old son and a Dalmatian/ terrier mix. We treat her as well as we treat my little boy. We recently (well in the last year) added a young female foxhound to the family. She is SO sweet and silky and has been the best addition to our mix! The past ten or so years have given me so much experience caring for multiple dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperments. I’m just super passionate about giving my animals and those I care for the absolute best care I can. It’s also given me experience administering medication, giving shots, walking multiple dogs at a time, feeding special individualized diets, taking care of a special needs dog, etc. I’m just a true animal lover :) I am currently not working so my schedule is incredibly flexible to meet your pets needs around the clock. I wake up early, let the dogs out in the backyard, feed them, let them out again. They usually play outside for a little bit before coming inside to nap. When my husband gets home we take them on walks, play in the yard, or go walk our favorite trail. Then we go home, feed dinner, and relax until bed time! At home my dog is walked Atleast three times a day, and one of those walks is always somewhere different- the beach, the park, the cross city trails, etc. When we’re hanging at home we provide lots of enrichment activities, playtime with toys, and also enjoy just snuggling on the couch. While your dog is in my care they will receive the same. We feed our dog a special diet and she requires daily allergy medication so meeting your dogs dietary and medication needs is no issue. Our dog is allowed on furniture, so as long as it is okay with you we have no problem with your pup joining us on the couch or in our bed. However if they aren’t allowed, we have multiple dog beds in each room so they can still be comfortable while we’re being lazy. Although we no longer have a fenced yard, our yard is pretty big and we take our dog out on the long lead often to sniff and play so your dog will receive lots of outside time as well.

About: Horses. Currently have 2 horses and have been around them since I was 3. Have only had my 2 since 2010. Also have 2 dogs that were originally from the Wake County Animal Center and fostered by me and have experience administering medication as needed for multiple species. I have a rabbit, dove, cat, and chickens. I currently work full time as an Animal Health Care Technician so would be available for overnight care, evening and early morning walks. On days I am off I would be happy to do middle of the day walks and help as best as possible! I can easily crate your dog if needed but if you think they would be more comfortable at your house I can keep them in their own environment to be suit them! and you!

If I do consider being there overnight house sitting for you at some later time, “please consider possibility” of my small 14 lb shih tzu dog coming leashed & with a carrier, if preferred, to stay with me if there’s a room or place (that doesn’t have hardwood or a rug) to keep him separated from your pet(s). Yes his spoiled butt has occasionally had tantrums that include relieving himself on the floor or carpet on occasion when mad at me (usually only for leaving him) but if not another available room like a bathroom, I’ll keep him in his carrier during the likely 2-4+ hrs housesitting p/visit or day so your pet(s) & he should be fine. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST SITTING OF ANY TYPE OF DOG OR PET WITH A HISTORY OF AGGRESSION, INDIVIDUALLY or AS A BREED: This includes pitties, rotties, Shepards, Dobermins, & cats that have shown aggression towards any person or people. I know it may be based mainly on how they were treated while growing up…but I like living & have many others depending on me to make it home. Call me chicken 🐓 all you want but: I’m unwilling to work in isolated homes (considered too far/blocked from viewpoint of neighbors/roads + too close to wooded areas). For safety & privacy, I may be willing when able, to stay for a minimum agreed upon amount of hrs. but not overnight unless the unlikely event I feel VERY safe, cozy, comfortable, & secure in doing so. I must be able to trust that I will be protected in private moments as well & don't mind spending hours daily in a decent home for house sitting under those conditions but must feel that my mom, pets, & I are fully comfortable & safe for overnight stays (which’ll likely have .1% chance of happening 😅). We can discuss this further & some things mentioned may have changed since time of posting but THERE MUST BE SECURE, WORKING LATCHES on exit doors or you agree I may bring my own + LOCKS ON ALL ENTRANCES, including window locks. PROVIDE THE # TO YOUR SECURITY, FRONT DESK, LANDLORD, &/or SUPERINTENDENT, IF APPLICABLE, in case of emergency 🆘. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ELSE SHOULD HAVE KEYS THAT CAN ENTER WHILE YOU’RE AWAY!!! During meet & greet, please show me where applicable fire extinguishers & any other life saving devices such as escape ladders from upper floors are just to be on the safe side. Yup. Horror movies & bad experiences galore…! 🤷🏽♀️
About: I have a 5 year old husky and pitbull mixed dog named xena as well as a 9 year Old cat named Lilly! I was raised around animals (dogs and cats) we would take litters and rehabilitate them until they were ready to go to their forever homes and we would also rescue cats and dogs and rehabilitate them as well! About: I’ve had animals since I was a kid and always enjoyed taking care of them! It’s very rewarding for me. In my early 20s I was a dog trainer I’m a stay at home dad. We have a 10 and a 5 year old. I take walks throughout the day and between my wife someone is always home unless we are taking the kids somewhere.
