“Alessandra is simply the best sitter we’ve had for our Frenchie, Paris. I can’t recommend her enough! She put us and Paris at ease right from the start and worked with us even on short notice. We are so grateful. Paris, played all evening with the other puppies and Alessandra sent pics to keep us updated. We will definitely take her there again soon.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life , having always had family pets through childhood and beyond. I have cared for animals my whole life and enjoy treating other pets like my own. Including dogs of all sizes, and cats. I own my home and have a large amount of land and space making it easy to care for multiple dogs at a time, and both indoor and outdoor cats. I currently work full time entirely from home, remotely Monday through Friday. My flexible work from home schedule allows me to care for multiple pets throughout the day / week with no issues . Aside from occasional zoom calls, I have plenty of flexibility to care for animals and provide them attention, even during my work day. I have a large yard, grassy open trails near my property, and ability to walk dogs on leash and/ or tie up using dog ties to stationary objects. . Plenty of space inside house , large 1 story rancher with plenty of space for dogs and cats to roam.

About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a small dog from the time I was born through elementary school, and once I went off to college in 2000, I would do everything possible to hang out with friends dogs. Upon moving back to the Philly region in 2007, I started dog sitting and walking for a friend until 2010 when I had a place of my own, at which time I started with fostering dogs having up to 4 dogs at a time. During that time I become a dog parent myself to 1 and then 2 dogs. When I became pregnant with twins, I stopped fostering and then raised my twins with 2 big dogs by their side. During this time I would also dog sit a neighbors dog, and would have 3 large dogs to take care of. I have trained the foster dogs and then my adopted dogs anywhere from 12 weeks through 3 years, most who had experienced neglect and trauma, so I’ve had many experiences with dogs. A friend recommended I use rover as she knows how much I miss having a dog around and the joy a dogs presence gives me. Outside of appointments and driving my kids places after school, I am home, so I have lots of availability to play with dogs, take dogs on walks and have them overnight. I have experience with getting dogs to take medicine, experience with dogs who will eat everything in sight, experience with crate trained dogs, dogs who are house-trained, but not crate trained, and dogs who aren’t trained at all (but at this time, I can not take on the latter for house sitting in my home). I have experience with dogs who are frightened of loud noises (fireworks, thunderstorms, yelling), dogs who are always the shadow next to you and so much more. If your pup is used to sleeping in bed, we have 4 people (3 kids and myself) who would be happy to make that happen. I would love to take care of your fur-baby whether it’s a drop-in visit, a walk, doggie daycare or overnight stays in my home. I’m currently out of work, and looking to create a daily structure with dog walks, dog hikes playing with a dog, etc. with this, I can provide as much time with your pet as needed. Your dogs safety and needs will be my top priority. Outside of the home (or fenced in backyard), your dog will always be on a leash. If your dog is crate trained, or has specific environmental needs, I will make sure to keep those routines so the dog feels safe. Please know that I care and love dogs deeply, and am of the mind that a dog is calmest and on its best behavior when it’s human can provide it structure and “discipline” (ie show the dog the human is the boss). My kids have been taught to respect a dogs space and how to properly approach a dog. Please know that any dog in my care (via house sitting or walking) will be well loved, treated with respect and receive plenty of walks and playtime.

About: Dog mom who has an incredible love for all. Experience in watching in my home but will also stay at yours. Experience in administering meds, walking, play time and mental stimulation. Your pet in my care would be loved and cared for like my own. Pet sitting is not a new experience for me, however, the joy it brings me making new friends and memories with the owners and pets brings a new joy every time! I am newly retired and have a flexible schedule that would allow me for drop in visits, walks, feeds, medications, play time and or boarding. I have a very gentle 4 year old labradoodle who would make a good playmate. My home or yours. I have an electronic fence for my boy but I would take your pets for leashed walks. YOUR PETS WILL BEG TO STAY! 💙🐾♥️

About: My name is Caroline, a 24 year old computer science student with a love for pets. I became a dog sitter because I adore dogs and cannot wait to get one once I finish university but in the meantime, I cannot wait to take care of yours! I have previously taken care of dogs by boarding them in my previous home in Philadelphia and also did stay with my cousins toy poodle for a while while she was out of the country. I would walk the dogs once a day and take them out five or six times a day depending on the owner’s preference. I also have taken care or cats by boarding them as well. I currently live in a three bedroom safe, gaited community that is pet friendly. I’m currently a student and I spend most times at home since I take most of my classes online. This gives me time to care for your pet and take them outside as required. I currently have a toy poodle, we go for walks around the neighborhood. I have a big backyard and a safe neighborhood. My dog is very playful and can keep your dog company.

“Caroline and her pup Georgie were great with Gizmo, he felt right at home all day! Caroline was super communicative and kept me updated with pictures. Will definitely use her to watch Gizmo again!”

“I would absolutely recommend her to my friends, family and to you all! I also want to send my boy to her regularly! Lisa is the best. I have a 12 weeks old boy Bichon named Kong and had to find him a daycare for him for me to go to work. I researched a lot online, and was able to find Lisa on Rover.com. I and Kong took a tour before the first day and met Lisa and her husband David. I told her my concerns and she was very understanding and considerate. The house is beautiful and has a huge back yard which has been freshly redone recently. Lisa also has a dog who is 7yrs old boy named Teddy. Teddy is a great guide to Kong. See her for your beloved dog's daycare or boarding, he or she will have so much fun in the huge and freshly done back yard!!”

“Andrea thank you so much for taking care of my Oso. I appreciate your warmth and kindness. Thank you so much for your flexibility and hospitality! Looking forward to the upcoming appointments.”
