About: I have had various dogs since I was a child including dachshunds, jack russels, and chihuahuas. I’ve always helped around the house and with the animals. (We’ve even had goats, chickens, goats, and a pig! So I know how to handle different dynamics.) I have trained and taken care of my own dachshund puppy over the past two years. I’ve taught him tricks, crate trained him, and navigated how to walk on a leash properly. As an early grad I am working to build my schedule with work. I make time for what’s important to me and that includes YOUR FURRY BABIES! I do have one part time job but I am very flexible with my availability. If you prefer me to be present at the house 24/7 I will! If you are okay with me working a shift or two while petsitting I can do that as well. All I need is communication! I will act and provide my services based on you and your pets needs. I am comfortable to give medicine, take your pets out for potty breaks any time they need, to crate them or share a bed for my stay.

He responded promptly and was more than willing to come by for a meet and greet, which immediately put us at ease. From the moment he walked in the door, our cats were comfortable with him which is not always the case. Ronny took his time answering all of our questions and asked thoughtful questions of his own. Even though we admittedly have a very detailed list of instructions, he did an amazing job remembering all the little things and checking in regularly with messages and photos throughout his stay. It was clear that Ronny genuinely cared about making sure our cats were happy, comfortable, and well loved while we were away. He was also incredibly respectful of our home, leaving everything exactly as we left it. He even went above and beyond by offering to clear our driveway after an unexpected snowfall. About: We have lots of experience with dogs, cats and many other types of animals! Large property with room to run, we have several horses and goats on site. Family care in our home (with children). Experience working as a vet tech including first aid, animal grooming, training and behavior, and as an animal chiropractor for ~15 years. We do have a kennel license through the state and as such, we require a copy of your current rabies vaccine and dog license (easy to do and only about $12 online!). Question on this? Just ask! We have several older children who help out with daily care, walks, and feeding. One parent is stay at home and the other parent works flexible hours. We have a large house for dogs to roam and play throughout the day. Sleeping can be in a kennel or snuggled with us in bed--whatevert you prefer. Large outdoor spaces to roam and we love to take walks in the neighborhood.

I am a dog mom to a German Shepherd named Gemma. She is a rescue and dog-reactive (but loves all people!), so I have extensive experience with walking and handling reactive dogs! I was an avid foster and volunteer while in grad school for organizations such as Big Paws of the Ozarks, Fayetteville Animal Services, and Best Friends Resource Center.
