“Hailey was great! My animals were so comfortable and happy from her being there while I was away. She took great care of them and my home. This is the first time I’ve used a sitter for my pets and home but I would use Hailey again and again!”

“Sarah made sure that all of our pets were taken care of and received tons of love and attention while we were away. She is also experienced with caring for rabbits so I knew that our bunny was in good hands and would be able to exercise his legs. I highly recommend her and will be booking her for future pet sitting needs!”

“Meghan stayed three nights in our home with our Belgian malinois and everything went super smoothly! This was our first in-home boarding experience with our dog, and we were so happy to return to a calm, happy dog who would normally be very anxious after out of home boarding. She sent lots of updates/pictures and always responded in a timely manner.”

“We had a wonderful experience when Steve watched our dog at our house for the weekend. His communication style kept us at ease, and we could tell from the pics he sent that our dog enjoyed himself very much. We have a very energetic Vizsla, so Steve was sure to give him lots of exercise and playtime. He takes good care of the home too. A top notch sitter who goes above and beyond.”

About: Hey there! My name is Emily and I am a recent grad who has moved back to the area. I have always been an animal lover, and during grad school, I was able to broaden my animal care experiences! I am a dog mom to a German Shepherd named Gemma. She is a rescue and dog-reactive (but loves all people!), so I have extensive experience with walking and handling reactive dogs! Rest assured, when I care for your pets, Gemma will NOT be present. I was an avid foster and volunteer while in grad school for organizations such as Big Paws of the Ozarks, Fayetteville Animal Services, and Best Friends Resource Center. We have had fosters of a variety of ages and breeds. Additionally, I spent most of my Saturdays at the local farmers market with an adoptable shelter pup working on socialization and leash skills with fellow volunteers. Lastly, before moving, I was also a part-time employee at a pet resort that offered daycare, boarding, and grooming services. Hereto, I was able to care for even more dogs (and even some cats!). I am passionate about animal care and would love to take care of your pets, whether it be for walks, check-ins, or house sitting. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I am happy to chat :) I am currently located around the 19464/19343 area. Note: I am able to do check-in visits for cats and hang out for a bit, but cannot house sit because I am allergic. As a recent grad on the job market, I have a ton of free time to take care of your pets! Whether it be morning, midday, or evening walks or check-ins, I’m your gal! In your home, whether it be for a walk, check-in, or housesitting, I am happy to follow any rules that you have in mind! Since I am used to walking a reactive dog, I am extremely observant on walks for anything that might trigger a reaction.

About: I'm 55 so I have years of experience with dogs but love all animals. I have taken care of neighborhood dogs along with my mom's dog during her illness. I'm home most days and are very flexible to your needs I'm home most days and can be flexible to help out when needed. I'm able to pet sit, go for walks, feeding, and overnight stays if needed I have years of experience with dogs and will take great care of your pet as if they where my own! I've used Rover for my own pet sitting while on vacation etc.
About: I have had various dogs since I was a child including dachshunds, jack russels, and chihuahuas. I’ve always helped around the house and with the animals. (We’ve even had goats, chickens, goats, and a pig! So I know how to handle different dynamics.) I have trained and taken care of my own dachshund puppy over the past two years. I’ve taught him tricks, crate trained him, and navigated how to walk on a leash properly. As an early grad I am working to build my schedule with work. I make time for what’s important to me and that includes YOUR FURRY BABIES! I do have one part time job but I am very flexible with my availability. If you prefer me to be present at the house 24/7 I will! If you are okay with me working a shift or two while petsitting I can do that as well. All I need is communication! I will act and provide my services based on you and your pets needs. I am comfortable to give medicine, take your pets out for potty breaks any time they need, to crate them or share a bed for my stay.
“Lauren is amazing! She watched our 16 week old golden retriever puppy! She was able to stay on top of his high energy, feed him, and make sure he was goi g potty! She communicated with us really well! Highly recommend her☺️”

“Savannah was wonderful with Shep. She was kind, communicative, and made me feel completely comfortable leaving him in her care. I really appreciated her updates and the thoughtful attention she gave him. I would absolutely recommend her and would be happy to have her watch Shep again.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve fostered and rescued dogs, cats, litters of puppies, and litters of kittens, giving me hands-on experience with animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Through fostering, I’ve worked with a wide range of temperaments, including shy and fearful animals, high-energy pets, senior pets, and those needing extra patience and reassurance. I’m comfortable reading animal body language, following care instructions, administering basic medications when needed, and helping pets feel safe and comfortable while their families are away. As a pet owner and foster caregiver, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family members. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care and plenty of updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to treating your pets like they’re part of my own family! I currently work part time, mostly from home with flexible hours. I could easily accommodate your schedule so your baby is well taken care of when you are away. I spoil my pets with lots of love and would do the same with yours! If you have any specific routines or feeding regimens I have no problem sticking to them to keep consistency for your pet.
“Tim did a great job staying overnight two nights caring for our pit bull mix and our cat. He provided updates and photos and our pets were happy when we arrived home. We highly recommend him!”

“Kyle really came through for my girls and I in a pinch. Their regular sitter was not available for a weekend beach trip I had planned and we put our trust in another awesome human. He showed up for a meet and greet and my spicy, anxious ridden rescue took to him fairly quickly. We were all happy he was able to stay overnight. My girls usually dont do well with being left alone more than one night. I had updates when I needed and I came home to my place the way I left it. Would definitely use Kyle again.”

I am currently not working so I am very available at any time throughout the week. I also have a car so I am easily able to go places. I have 4 dogs at home so I am currently only going to client homes. I am a big pet lover, I am very punctual, and I will always be responsible when caring for your pets.
About: Hi I'm Dani! I have been passionate about animals my whole life and even went vegetarian when I was 12. I love all kinds of animals even the creepy and scaly kind. I have had experience with bunnies, cats, dogs, fish, goats, and chickens. In childhood I had some brief experience with horses as well. I currently have two inside cats, one barn cat, two chickens, and six goats! Pet care is part of my daily life and routine as my cat is always by my side when I am home. Usually I will help take our dogs out when needed or feed the goats etc. I will love and treat your animals with the upmost respect. It's important to me to also not cross any boundaries that would make your animals uncomfortable.
About: My whole live I have always had animals and/or was surrounded by them. I have taken care of families pets and homes since I was around 10 and have had my own pet care experience since I was around 6. Pets are family. And with me, they will be treated as such! This summer my availability is open and flexible due to only working part time. I have a lot of weekends open and even more weekdays. During my time with your pets, I will focus on keeping them active and using enrichment techniques when needed. If you have pets with a bit more anxiety, we can also relax at home.
“Clare did a wonderful job with my dog (and cats) . Updated me constantly and sent some awesome pics and vids. Prompt reliable communication, a quick get to know you visit and made sure to keep our fur family happy and filled with cuddles and love while we were away. She was fantastic and will definitely be used again when we have our next trip”

FAQs for House Sitting - New Morgan
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 1,834 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across New Morgan. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred New Morgan walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in New Morgan maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in New Morgan choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in New Morgan. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
