Both of the dogs came back happy and tired! Bethany was great with them, especially since Eliza is still learning leash walking. Will definitely use her again!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently care for my own pets. I’m dependable, attentive to pets’ needs, and committed to providing a safe, loving environment while owners are away. I work full time so I try to fit caring for animals in whenever I can! I don’t always have my calendar up to date but I usually get back with people within a few hours if I’m available! I have 2 cats that live at home with me, Finn and Nora. I have given them medicine and usually can read their body language. I also used to take care of my cat and dog, Midnight and Shadow, at my dad’s house. They are both outside animals!

About: Owner of Sass-A-Frass Dog Care in Pittsburg, KS. I have been around all sorts of critters all of my life. I've lived on a farm so I have been around and raised a large range of animals. From calves to baby squirrels, and the most common pets of course cats and dogs. I love animals of all shapes and sizes. For me it is much more than just that though, it is a passion and an experience. I strive to ensure that my animals and those who I take care of are happy and comfortable. They are our pets and our children and they mean the world to us. They deserve the best we can provide, and I assure you I will provide them with the most love and care that I can. I currently live just outside of town so no busy streets around. I do have a nice fenced in yard and an open concept home incase of the zoomies! 😁😆 I have chickens on the property and we often have deer and such that wonder up so your kiddos may also gain some new experiences during their visit. (From a safe distance of course.) Thankyou for your consideration and time! :) I am a full time stay at home dog sitter and will be available for them whenever care is needed. I have a flexible schedule and understand sometimes life throws us curveballs. 😀 I have a fenced in yard and also just under 1.5 acres I am happy to walk on leash if needed. All of my fur babies are friendly with others although they can get excited sometimes to meet others. I have multiple sizes of kennels if necessary for the comfort of your baby. Otherwise they're welcome to stay out and about 24/7.

About: I’ve been around animals (dogs especially) all my life. My dad used to breed German short-haired pointers and just recently bred his lab. I have 3 dogs myself, 2 cats and a Guinea pig. I love that animals love you no matter what! I work full-time from home but would be able to take 20 minutes during my lunch to tend to your pet. My daughter (she’s 15) is a dog lover and loves to help! As well as my 9 yo son! I care for pets in their own home. I feel this is where they’re most comfortable. I don’t want to add stress to them by bringing them somewhere different.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 5 and I’ve loved it ever since. I’ve had owned many dogs and cats. I’ve helped with pets of all ages, from tiny babies to sweet seniors. I’m going to school for animal behavior and care because animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I love making sure they’re happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Right now, I am going to school online for my bachelors while working! Pet care is the perfect way for me to stay busy doing something I love while also helping people out. It fits into my routine really well right now because I have the time and flexibility, and it gives me experience for my future career with animals. It’s a win-win, I get to be around pets and give them the love and care they deserve while I’m in this in-between stage. When I’m caring for pets in someone’s home, I treat it like my own, with a lot of respect and care. I always follow your instructions closely because every pet has their own routine and comfort zone. I make sure they feel safe, loved, and relaxed while you’re away. Whether it’s sticking to their feeding schedule, giving meds, or just keeping them company, I focus on creating a calm and happy environment. I know how much trust it takes to let someone into your home, and I don’t take that lightly.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a little girl. I had my first cat when I was 5 years old. I have a dog named Dexter that is 7 years old, we rescued him when he was abandoned at about 2 weeks old. He is a sweet boy and does well with other animals. I've had so many other sweet animals (including horses) that were with me forever. All of my animals have been rescued. I have experience with all different breeds, growing up we had mutts, but also had Rottweiler's, Doberman, German Shepard's, Great Danes. I have personal experience with itty bitty dogs, and great big dogs. I would love to take care of your babies and love them like my own. Bully breeds too! I am comfortable medicating, bathing, walking, and anything else pets may need. I was an EMT for many years so I am really comfortable with anything medical, even with pets. My sweet Dexter crossed the rainbow bridge in February, 2024. He’s loved and missed so much. I'm currently living in Fayetteville, bur work in Joplin, Mo so I can work all Around the areas. Im learning and exploring so I’m happy to explore with a furry friend. I am currently unable to have pets stay in my home, but I am more than willing to stay in your home if that's better for your pet. I want to make sure your babies are taken care of the way you would take care of them. I would like for their routine to stay as close to normal as possible while you're away. I loved having my sweet Dexter with me, and it’s been tough since he passed.

About: Hi, my name is Bri! I just moved here a few months ago from California. I grew up around all kinds of animals, mainly dogs. I've always had a soft spot for dogs. I used to walk neighborhood dogs and go to animal shelters just to walk them and play with all the animals when I was younger. I am a dog mom myself to  a three-year-old Border Collie Lab Mix. And just recently I got a GSP puppy as many of us know is full of energy! I understand how difficult it is to trust your pet with a stranger, but you have my promise that I will treat your dog as if he or she were my own, and that all of their needs will be met! My dog isn't easy to handle, therefore I'm always up for a challenge! My dog, Mya, has food sensitivities and is quite shy, so I'm used to dealing with these kind of situations and will do my best to assist your dog! I am currently a full-time college student, but now that majority of my courses are online I have a lot of time to play with your pups! I am free on weekdays and weekends at any time! I have a fenced backyard at my house and a crate if needed! I normally take my dog to dog parks to play with other dogs or nature trails.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
