About: We are Kate and Cameron, the proud parents of a pack of doodles living in Baxter Springs, Kansas. We would love to care for your doggo at our loving, urban dog ranch. Our house sits on a ¼ acre corner lot that is fully privacy-fenced. There is plenty of shade from mature oak trees to play under, a water trough to splash in, many toys, chickens to watch (fenced off for safety), and a dog door for full access to the house when they are ready for lounging. We live next to Kiwanis Park, which has a lovely 1.5 mile walking loop. Cameron is a long-distance runner, and can offer running sessions for our friends with higher energy needs. Kate grew up in a veterinarian's home and has logged over 100 hours training dogs for therapy in schools. We have robust knowledge of dog health and behavior and can ensure that when you return, you will find your dog safe, happy, and tired! Let us care for your dog as one of our pack! We look forward to chatting about details if this sounds like your kind of set-up. We have three dogs, so we are constantly feeding, walking, petting, or playing with somebody. I’d say pet care is the hobby we spend most of our time on. We have a privacy fenced in yard, for safety. We have a doggie door, for convenience. We are happy to have a feeding schedule, for a little peace of mind if it’s requested.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Samantha. This was my first time ever leaving Grizzly, and I had SO much anxiety about it. Like, genuinely anxious. I had no idea how I was going to feel leaving him with someone else, but from the second we met Samantha, I felt so much better. Her family was incredibly welcoming, her home was so inviting and clean, and you can immediately tell how much she loves animals. Watching her with Grizzly — and all of the animals — was honestly the sweetest thing. She has such a calm, patient, loving demeanor with them, and Grizzly completely adored her. She kept me updated with pictures and messages throughout his stay, and I looked forward to every single one. Seeing him so happy and comfortable made such a difference for me. By Sunday, I was genuinely so relieved that I had found someone I could trust with him. Grizzly had the BEST time, and I’m pretty sure he would happily go back tomorrow 😂. Samantha made what I was so nervous about feel completely easy, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. We will absolutely be back. I couldn’t recommend her more.
