I am truly committed to the time slots I say I am available. I have an indoor cat, but he loves to go outside, so I put a collar and a leash on him and take him out daily.

About: I did the animal science program at boces for 2 years where I got to get hands on experience with all kinds of animals such as taking care of dogs. Due to taking the animal science program I am certified as a veterinary assistant. Right now I’m also going to school for my bachelors degree in canine training and management. I also have 2 cats of my own that I’ve had and taken care of since I was 11. Heads up I have 2 cats at home still so for boarding requests I cannot accept cat reactive dogs. It fits into my schedule for the summer because of college break because I won’t have school at all and I’ll be able to give a most of my time to your pets although I do have work Monday Wednesday and Thursday. Although since Monday Wednesday and Thursday I have work from 8 to 11:30 so if doing a boarding I wouldn’t be back home until 4:30 because of transportation depending so dogs have to be okay being home alone for a little bit. If I do house sitting I cannot get to a house after 7am and before 4pm due to transportation because I cannot drive due to medical reasons and only have transportation before 7am and after 4pm. Be up front and open. Follow and respect the animals and if you go to the home respect and follow the rules. I don’t have a fenced in yard.

“*First time user experience* Typically my mother will watch over my pets when I go out of town. Due to her age and the size/energy of my dogs, I decided to book a dog sitter. Daunting is an understatement. I was worried about relinquishing control to someone I didn’t know and inviting them into my home to care for my pets that mean so much to me. As a first time user, there were many unknowns regarding the process and inviting someone to stay in our home. No worries though. Jessica to the rescue! She was able to guide and provide information during the booking process. She then came to meet our pets and took time asking many great questions that pertained to our furries. I was a little hesitant to using Rover and having someone new around our guys. Would they understand some of their quirks? Would they provide the same loving experience that they are used to? I knew there would be many new facets to this experience. About: I’ve pet sat for family members but I’ve also and still currently pet sit for previous teachers. I’ve done an internship at a vet clinic. I completed boces which made me a certified veterinary assistant. I worked at the SPCA while finishing up college. Volunteered at Tanglewood Nature Center. Depending on my work schedule I spend as much time as possible outside of work with your pets. I don’t leave them alone for long at all. I’m easy going, my dog gets crated when I’m not home. About: I've loved dogs ever since I can remember. I have experience caring for every breed of dog imaginable. Never found one I didn't love to the moon and back. I am a firefighter so my schedule can vary but I'll have lots of time to care and love your pup and give them all the scratches they deserve. I treat others' homes just like my own, if not better. I also don't mind grabbing your mail, feeding other pets, or watering plants if needed.
