About: I’ve pet sat for family members but I’ve also and still currently pet sit for previous teachers. I’ve done an internship at a vet clinic. I completed boces which made me a certified veterinary assistant. I worked at the SPCA while finishing up college. Volunteered at Tanglewood Nature Center. Depending on my work schedule I spend as much time as possible outside of work with your pets. I don’t leave them alone for long at all. I’m easy going, my dog gets crated when I’m not home. I will make sure nothing is sitting out that could potentially harm an animal
“I never worried for a second about Zelda and Luka. Adalia was great with communication about the visits and the dog's activities. Great job and I will have her watch the dogs again!”

“Gretchen was great with my girls! She was on time for her drop-ins and stayed to play with them the whole time. She did a meeting with me to meet the girls before she came to watch them which was great! She strove to understand what I needed from her and what the girls needed with their behavioral issues! Very professional and kind!”

“Cate has been so great with our boy Bruno! I love all the updates she gives us, and the pictures she takes each visit. We are so happy to have someone there for us to check in on our busy days.”

“She is very tentative! Providing updates during visits of my dogs conditions and how they seem as well as goings on like when they had some diarrhea. She is very nice and implements how you want your animals to be taken care of. Is willing to use and learn about things like the e-collars I use for my girls. All around a good sitter!”

“If I could rate 10/5 stars I would! Our dog is our baby and we have very high standards for his care. Amanda was so good with Riley! He can be a little high energy and she handles it so well. She takes the time to not only let him out and feed him, but she sits with him for a little while and gives some extra love and scratches. She is genuine with care towards animals and it made me very comfortable. I am so pleased and will 100% recommend her and use her regularly.”

“Bill and Emma we're great! They're very patient and caring, and made sure our dog was well looked after. They clearly love animals, and we're very happy to recommend them!”

“Kelli wtched my senior cocker spaniel for four days when I was out of town. I was very pleased with the care that she gave, I received photos every day and a note for visits. When I got home my dog was calm and happy, what more could you ask for?! I would definitely recommend Kelli and will be contacting her to watch my girl again the next time I go out of town. She even was nice enough to take my garbage can to the curb and bring my mail in. Thank you again Kelli.”

“Staci did a great job with my elderly cocker spaniel. I felt very secure knowing that she was taking care of her during my vacation out of town. I received several pictures and updates on how she was doing while I was gone. I would definitely book her again to care for Tulla. Thank you, Staci?”

“Amanda took care of my cat dropping by once a day for a week. My cat seem in a great shape and I believe Amanda did a great job. She provided timely updates and was able to socialize and earn the trust of my otherwise shy cat.”

About: I grew up on a farm and have been around all sorts of animals. I have experience with all types of dogs, from Great Danes to Chihuahuas. Neighbors, friends, and family have previously relied on me to house sit and care for their pet(s) while they’re away. I’m currently working part time, so I have lots of free time to care for your pet(s). Even on days I work, I can do potty breaks before and after. I rely on what the client tells/gives me. I like to keep animals in their own home so they can feel comfortable and not anxious with another person and at another home. It’s good to keep one of those neutral.
About: Hello, I’m Abigail. I have had all types of animals my whole life and have had experience working at pet stores and doggie day cares. I strive to keep all animals happy, healthy, and safe at all times! I am home full time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. My home is welcome to all breeds, and if your pup has special needs that is no issue! I have a child, a three legged pup, and a scaredy cat that are all very well socialized with other animals! If need be I can watch almost any other kind of animal you may have. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me! I hope to meet your pups soon! Thank you.

“Laura came on time and spent the full amount of time with Billy, she left detailed notes about how the visit went and took pictures. This is the second time we have used Laura and will continue to in the future when we book with Rover!”

“She is an incredible and authentic person with patience for with my two dogs that we’re not easy, but she showed her professionalism and her desire to make them feel comfortable and for that I am so grateful for her. I would use her again without any reservations.”

As of July 2026, there are 182 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Pine Valley. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pine Valley. On Rover:
- 83% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
