About: I have had dogs and one cat since I was a child up until about a year ago. I trained and socialized my dogs so they were always people, child and pet friendly. I am patient and I will understand they will be stressed when their family is not with them. I love walking dogs, playing whatever games they enjoy or just spending time with them for comfort. I work from home full-time and have a flexible schedule during the week and weekends. My work week is normally done by noon on Thurs., so I have long weekend availability. About: I grew up on a farm and have been around all sorts of animals. I have experience with all types of dogs, from Great Danes to Chihuahuas. Neighbors, friends, and family have previously relied on me to house sit and care for their pet(s) while they’re away. About: My earliest memory with a pet was at 3 years of age. I’ve had companion pets my entire life. I’ve nursed kittens, trained puppies, and cared for elderly dogs with cancer and kidney failure. Most of my experience lies with cats and dogs; however, I’ve had a cow, ducks, rabbits, pigeons, cockatiels and fish. Bathing, medication administration, and basic grooming are all within my skill set. As a side note, I do like to have a solid relationship with a pet before attempting grooming. Some pets are really scared of having their nails trimmed or taking a bath and can become aggressive, especially with someone they aren’t familiar with. I am available 8:30am-2pm mostly every day. Some days we might be able to work something out after 3:30pm, if needed. My weekends are more flexible and can be negotiated on an as-needed basis. At this time I am only able to do drop-in visits for feeding, dog-walking, play time, etc. It is your home and I will respect your rules. If you have special requests I will do my best to accommodate.

I’m currently working towards my degree in zoology, and hope to get a start in professional animal care.
