About: I have grown up taking care of numerous animals, including inside dogs and hunting dogs, bearded dragons, fish, cats, birds, etc. I also frequently pet sit for friends and family when needed, and have been doing so for years! â¤ď¸ I am currently working part time, usually from 4:30-9:30 throughout the week and on Saturdays (besides Mondays). I am also in school at CSU, but classes are over for the Summer đ I have a fenced in backyard with a lot of room to run and play as well as a friendly poodle to keep your babies company (they can be easily separated if needed) !! At clients homes, it varies depending on the clientâs request. However, I do love going outside with the dogs as well as being cuddled up watching tv with themâşď¸
About: **Please note I am disabled and hard of hearing. I will always prefer texts over phone calls. **Check out what your babies get up to and the pictures/videos I didnât end up sending on our Facebook or Instagram page, Zig Zag Wag pet care! I have experience with a variety of animals, including dogs and cats, horses and livestock, rodents and reptiles, and everything from basic grooming including nail trims and baths to basic behavior training. (See safety section for further details) I have experience with basic first aid. I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it wonât let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING. I am not a certified trainer in any capacity, though I have trained many of my own animals (including rats and cats!)

âTanner did a fabulous job caring for our two dogs! He went above and beyond by sending us daily pictures and updates, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious they were getting plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. He even watered our plants, which was such a thoughtful extra touch. We came home to two happy pups and a well-cared-for home. We couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter. Tanner will absolutely be our first choice the next time we need someone to watch our dogs. Highly recommend!â

About: Ever since my dad got a puppy when I was 12 I've been watching him and other pets and I've gotten good experience from that. Me and my brother currently have a business running I'll be available on days we don't work we don't work everyday just when we get a call , I will not be available on Sunday's I have 2 dogs and I made a dog house for them and I take them out to run in the park by my house.
About: Iâve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been a big part of who I am. Iâve experience caring for dogs of many different breeds and ages, including senior dogs. When my own dogs grew older, I was there to care for them and help with their needs, including cleaning up after them and making sure they were comfortable and well cared for. Iâve also volunteered at humane societies and have experience caring for friendsâ pets, which has taught me how to be patient, attentive, and adaptable with different personalities and needs. Most importantly, I genuinely love dogs and treat every pet as an individual. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and able to enjoy their best life while their owners are away. Iâm currently enrolled in college and work a part-time job in the evenings, which gives me plenty of availability throughout the day to care for your pets. Iâm available on both weekdays and weekends and can work with your petâs individual routine and needs. In the mornings, I can stop by for walks, playtime, cuddles, and some quality time together. In the afternoons, I can check in on them, let them outside, and make sure they get plenty of attention and love. In the evenings, I can come by for another visit to play, cuddle, feed them, and give them another opportunity to go outside. When caring for a dog in a clientâs home, I make sure to follow their usual routine and create a schedule that works well for both the pet and their family. I understand that every dog has different needs and preferences, so I take the time to keep them comfortable and maintain the routine theyâre used to. I love taking dogs on walks, playing with their favorite toys, spending time outside, and giving them plenty of attention and cuddles. If the home has a fenced-in yard, Iâm happy to let them enjoy some supervised outdoor playtime. If there isnât a fenced yard, we can always go for a walk and then come back inside for plenty of playtime, relaxation, and cuddles.
âBernajah is amazing!!! I booked her to house sit for my 100lb pitbull mix and our experience was nothing short of amazing!!! My baby suffers w/ separation anxiety and Bernajah did an amazing job of ensuring Sky didnât feel alone and was well taken care of. I received pics and updates throughout the stay to make me feel more at ease (which I appreciate). If youâre looking for a sitter that you can trust, book Bernajah! 10s across the boardâ

As of September 2026, there are 228 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Pine Mountain Valley. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitterâs presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Pine Mountain Valley walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your homeâs security or appliances.
Itâs helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Pine Mountain Valley maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate theyâll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your petâs profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Pine Mountain Valley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pine Mountain Valley. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
