About: What sets me apart is the deep-rooted experience and love I have for animals. I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 9 years old, from walking neighborhood pups to helping with family pets. I’ve also fostered dogs, which taught me how to care for animals with a wide range of personalities and needs—from playful puppies to more reserved or nervous dogs. Whether your pet needs high-energy playtime or extra patience and comfort, I provide care that’s attentive, loving, and tailored to them. You can count on me to treat your pet like family and keep you updated every step of the way. I'm currently working a full time internship, 9-5 pm during the weekdays. I'm available after 5pm for evening care/walks, and have more availability on the weekends! In my home or yours, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and fun environment where pets feel comfortable and loved. I stick closely to their normal routines—mealtimes, walk schedules, playtime, and any special care instructions—so they feel secure even when their humans are away. Whether it's keeping things tidy, giving lots of affection, or making sure they get plenty of exercise, I’m all about giving personalized care that matches each pet’s needs. Communication is important to me too, so I always keep owners updated with messages and photos!

About: Hello! My name is Stephanie and I have been a Rover pet sitter for a couple years now (on and off). I LOVE animals and have many of my own. Please reach out if you have any questions! Thank you! I currently work full time but can make drop in visits to make sure pups get a potty break. I am also available for daily walks and snuggles. During drop in visits I will make sure your furbaby is able to use the bathroom, play, and get some belly rubs. Pets will have love and attention while I care for them.

About: Hello animal enthusiasts! My name is Katie and I have worked with animals in a multitude of settings. Jane Goodall (Primatologist) was always an idol of mine. As I grew up in a household loving my dogs, cats, and birds I envisioned working in Africa with chimpanzees. While my vision didn't manifest exactly the way I had fathomed, I still ended up working with baboons in Africa (2017). Along the way, I was an outdoor educator for several years working with all sorts of reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals, and invertebrates. I have been attracted to all types of animals since the day I was born. As a science teacher (8 years), I kept corals and saved many animals in the outdoor environment near our school (from squirrels to birds and much more). My husband and I have just moved from Chicago, IL to Florida. We have a love for adventure and curiosity for the great outdoors. We are happily married with our Cockatiel (Sunny) and Umbrella Cockatoo (Jack). I can't wait to meet you and love your pets for eternity! Along with my elementary education degree, I studied zoology. So, with that being stated, I'm here in Florida ready to meet new people, love your pets, teach, adventure, and learn all about Florida ecology! Let's connect! I'm currently reinventing my life/schedule after just recently moving from Chicago, IL this year and leaving my middle school science teaching position. I plan on working for a nature center and substitute teaching while I continue improving my writing career. As of right now, I have an open schedule until the end of August. I will be changing my availability in September. Currently, we do not have a fenced in yard for your pet but I can surely take him/her out with their leash in our vast open space! If your dog loves the hose, we have access to this as well. Who doesn't love a nice spray during the hot summer? Your pet will have 24 hour access to this yard, cozy home, and the couch or bed! We live about 5 minutes from the Audubon Pennington Park where we love to take nature walks. I'm sure your dog wouldn't mind a nature walk too! We truly do enjoy hosting neighborhood pets as one of our very own family members. Your pet will receive unconditional love, constant cuddles, outdoor time, and food/water the way you prefer it! At night time, they can choose from our warm bed or their very own cozy dog bed. Your pet is top priority and we want to provide the best experience for them so that they are happy to come back and play! With that being said, I would love to work with you to provide whatever it is you and your pet need. Thanks and can't wait to touch base!

About: I grew up around many different kinds of animals, including dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds, fish, and horses. I have 3 years experience as a veterinary technician, and have some knowledge on caring for older pets or pets that need medication. You can count on me to treat your pet as if they’re part of my own family while you are away at work or on vacation. I’m hoping to make pet care my main focus. I am available 7 days a week. I am very flexible at the moment. Shoot me a message! :) Safety is always number one. I am very cognizant of potential issues and/or threats. I believe that screening each dog’s behavior and history is important in preventing potential issues.

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors! I’ve also handled dogs who are quite temperamental including my own dog, who can be quite temperamental at times. This personal experience has taught me the importance of patience, reading animal body language, and creating a calm, consistent environment that builds trust. As a remote worker with a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide consistent, attentive care for your pets throughout the day. Whether it’s potty breaks, playtime, medication, or just companionship, I’m available and fully present to meet all of your pet’s needs. You can trust that I’ll follow their routine closely, provide plenty of love and attention, and respond to their needs with care and compassion. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family—offering you complete peace of mind while you’re away.

“We just completed our first week of daily walks and play time. Jes has been absolutely terrific. She has been working with my complicated schedule with breeze, shows up as planned (even with my last minute time changess), sends pics, and the dogs absolutely love her! We will be continuing our daily walks with Jes as she has been trustworthy and reliable - along with being extremely easy to communicate with. I highly recommend Jes for walks or just daily doggie love time - giving cuddles and scratches while playing ball and tug.”

“She is the best. I am using her again and again.”

“Sarah is an uncommonly empathetic and giving person, she did great with our Sammy. She assisted us with a canine medical emergency, she was cool and collected, helped keep things under control. Sarah is very attentive, and would switch her focus to Sammy immediately when needed. We are a bit of "helicopter parents" to Sammy due to his illness (advanced cancer), and knowing Sarah paid attention to every detail was extremely important to us. We felt safe to leave our furbaby in her loving hands and would welcome her again at any time in our home.”

About: From a teacup poodle to a big mastiff, I've had pets of various sizes. I've pet-sit (or "cat-sat"), my friends and families pets whenever they needed so I'd be happy to do that as well. I'm also no stranger to helping feed pets their nasty medicine as well. I'm currently looking for a job as I've just moved down here! That being the case, I've got plenty of time (with almost an entirely free schedule), to walk and play with your pups! I have met dogs and cats of all energy levels, from pups that have high energy to those who like to make their daily rounds before plopping down for a nap. Whatever their needs are, I am happy to comply. Their comfort and enjoyment is my top priority!

About: I first started volunteering at the animal shelter as a dog walker whilst I also got my first dog that I raised and trained myself and he has taught me everything. I worked at a doggy daycare, the animal shelter, and now at an animal hospital and love what I do. I’ve pet sat for my neighbors and volunteer friends and always give advice or match their needs for their pets. I’m very compassionate about dogs (and a side of cats) and I couldn’t imagine not being around them! Pet care fits into my routine as I work at an animal hospital and can do some rover trips on my days off as needed. I care for pets as if they were my own, taking in everything into consideration of their care and comfort, making sure they get what they need in terms of care!

In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve provided drop-in care for birds, goats, and chickens, so I’m comfortable with a variety of animals. Suzanne K.
“Whenever we had to travel and leave Willie home, it was very reassuring that Suzanne (Sue) was taking care of him. She always followed the instructions we left behind and also spent time petting Willie. We loved getting photos of him that she sent on her visits.
