About: Friend to all animals.✨ I have walked and dog-sat two pitbulls (ages: 2 and six months) on a weekly basis since the fall of 2022. My additional clients include mutts, a pug, a belgian shepherd, dobermans, and more, ages ranging 10 weeks - five years. I have stuck with some clients for over a year until their schedules changed or they moved, and with some dogs on a temporary basis. I am intent on working with the owners to adapt to their training methods for their fur-babies and enforcing those gently. Walks are enjoyable for both the dogs and me: I keep it lax and adapt to what they want in that moment. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and fur-babies alike since I was 15, when I would dog-sit and walk for family friends. I’ve had varying dog sitting and cat sitting gigs (both day visits and overnights) since then, some of which included overnight stays. Pet care is great supplemental time with pets and additional income while I full work remotely. I am flexible to work with clients on their schedules/their adorable pets schedules. I am also available some nights and weekends. My top priority besides providing love, fun and stimulation to your pets is their safety: both for their sake and my own. Making sure that we discuss your yard set up especially your fencing, and indoor set up (do you have animal gates/baby gates set up, areas they’re not permitted in), etc. Communication is key and I would love to know what works for your animal: what boundaries are set and what they’re comfortable with.

About: Taking care of animals is what I love to do. I’ve volunteered at the USPCA for two years, where I not only walked shelter dogs, but made sure they had enough social interaction. I’ve learned a lot with in the timespan of my experience and am confident I can care for your animal. About: I’ve been raised in a house with many types of animals including dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, birds and fish! About: I grew up in a home that always had multiple animals. Whether it was cats, dogs, fish, snakes and plenty more I was always taking care of different animals. Now as I’ve grown older the love for animals has not stopped. Dogs are really the best companions and can understand you more than some humans. The love I have for animals is truly the same love I have for family members. I’ll always make sure they are being well taken care of, fed, running freely or on walks, playing and always loved! Your dog will be treated like my own! My work schedule varies quite a bit, I may need to go into work sometimes & in that case my mother is typically home anyway. Otherwise I am home I have a fenced in area for the doggies to run freely. I have a dog of my own so I know what a dog needs and the love and attention they deserve! They can sleep wherever they’re most comfortable with at my home.

About: I go by Maggie, and my very first job was working for a veterinarian's office where I learned a lot about proper pet handling. I have always had pets of my own (dogs, cats, reptiles), and am a very playful person. Over the past few years I have been dog/cat sitting for my friends and family due to my flexible schedule, so why not work for Rover? I am self-employed and work from home full-time, so I am available whenever needed to take care of your pups! I currently live in upstate NY and love getting outside. I have a rescue pup of my own (going on 4 years now). My partner watches him when I am house-sitting for other Rover parents. I work fully remote so am flexible during the day to take care of your furry family. If I am staying in your home all I need is wifi. My remote work schedule is flexible, so I can take pups out for walks during the day and in the evenings. I am always down for snuggles and love a dog/cat who is happy hanging out on the couch with me.

About: I am a first time dog owner, but have had Persian cats most of my life. This breed tends to be high maintenance with respect to grooming, diet and eye care. They tend to be predisposed to Kidney issues and may require special medications, all of which I have personal experience with. I work remotely from home, and I am home 5 days a week with my Shih-tzu and 2 Persian cats. I can be available weekends with advanced notice. I have a fenced in back yard and a well socialized shih tzu that can act as a companion dog to your furbaby. I also have a creek on my property if your pup enjoys the water.

About: I am available to walk/do drop ins/some house sitting &/or overnight stays & cat sitting/drop ins anytime in the Shandaken, NY area. I have many years experience with animals, three grown kids & I am an avid animal rescue supporter including having my own rescue animal. I work part time on my own schedule so my availability is flexible & I can work with you & your needs! I am not able to provide in home care due to my Rescue dog being touchy with other animals, especially dogs but am available anytime for walks/drop ins, cat care, etc.... I will not be providing care in my home but I clean Rental homes for a living & will keep the same aspects in mind while being in your home/s, I will always be respectful of your space & your animals while providing the best care possible & will always leave your home the same as I found it.
