“Maria and her husband were absolutely fantastic with our puppies. We have one that is incredibly anxious when meeting big dogs, and Maria and her husband took the time to acclimate my pups to their Nova and other boards. Nova, their dog, is an incredibly gentle black lab who once she sniffed the pups, she left them alone to get used to the new surroundings. My pups were wagging their tails and sniffing the other dogs by the time we left. We received pictures of our dogs with them and Nova, and all of them were settled and happy visiting their home.”

“My husband and I decided last minute to get a sitter for the night of a wedding we attended, as we were camping and didn't want to leave the dogs so long in the camper. This was my first time using Rover and I looked at all of Michelle's reviews and had a great feeling! I had an even better feeling once I met her. She was able to fit us in for a few hours at a very short notice, she was super responsive and kept my dog mama heart at ease by messaging often. She was perfect for the job and I couldn't recommend her enough. Thank you so much Michelle, for helping us out and being so good to my babies!”

About: I can’t remember a time in my life that I didn’t have a dog (or two). Big dogs, little dogs and in between. Now that I am retired, I devote most of my time to caring for my two “baby girls”. Daisy & Bella are litter sisters although they don’t look a like. They are Teddy Bear/Schicons (1/2 Bichon Frise and 1/2 Shih Tzu). They are inseparable, looking out for each other or wrestling together, where there’s one there is the other. They do play well with others. My sister’s little girl is a Shih Tzu and she is an only child, we laugh and call her the Princess. I sit for her for a week or long weekends when my sister visits her daughter out of town. She also comes over for play dates. They all respect each other’s boundaries and the Princess has learned to play with “the Court Jesters”. My dogs and visitors are allowed on furniture and beds. My yard is not fenced, but I do have a radio frequency collar system that I can use or walk on leash per owner’s preference. I live a long way from the road so it is safe. We go on golf cart rides around the property in the afternoon, my girls look forward to it. I am retired, so unless I have a doctor appointment or go grocery shopping, I am home 100% of the time. I do go to church on Sunday morning. My girls have the run of our home but I can use a crate if owner desires. I will treat your fur baby like I do my own. They are my #1 priority, always. They have a feeding schedule twice daily with a few treats throughout the day. They get lots of love and snuggles to their satisfaction. I encourage them to play with toys inside interacting with each other and myself. They will get plenty of exercise indoors and outdoors. I refreshed their water several times daily.

About: I have multiple years (20+) of experience caring for animals where safety and fun are equally important. I personally have a 3 year old Pomeranian mix and a 7 year old black cat with a cleft nose. I previously had a 15 year old rat terrier who I took care of for 14 years. I have experience with special needs pets, senior pets, and pets of all sizes/shapes/species. I pay attention to details/instructions and am "late notice" friendly. Besides my personal pets, I have taken care of friends/family's pets- dogs (small tea-cup poodles to huge labradoodles), cats, snakes, bunnies, iguanas, frogs, rats, chinchillas, and fish. I have experience in administering medication, I have reliable transportation, and I don't let mild weather conditions affect my duties. As far as boarding goes- I work from home and I live in a one story house with an unfenced yard with my pup and cat who are both friendly with other animals. We can always do a meet and greet at my place beforehand to see if you believe it will be a good fit. :) Please contact me with any questions! I have a full-time job but work from home, so can always find time to plan a meet and greet before any booking to ensure you're comfortable with everything. I find that visiting times that are flexible work better with my schedule. Because I work 8-5 during the week, I am unable to do mid-day visits Monday-Friday unless it's a holiday or during lunch time. I always follow instructions carefully and am very thorough with updates and sending pictures. I always ensure a safe environment at my place and offer meet and greets beforehand to ensure you are comfortable with trusting me with your pet! Read my reviews to see proof!

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover and current pet parent to one energetic German Shorthaired Pointer puppy and two independent (but secretly snuggly) cats. Caring for such a high-energy breed has given me lots of experience with exercise needs, structure, and gentle training — while my cats remind me to always respect boundaries and read body language. Whether your pet is playful, shy, anxious, or a total goofball, I meet them where they are. I believe in kind, attentive care and keeping pets as comfortable and happy as possible while you’re away. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. With a flexible schedule and ample free time, I’m able to provide reliable, consistent care tailored to your pet’s needs. Whether it’s frequent potty breaks, medication on a schedule, or just keeping them company, I’m fully present and available. Whether your pet stays with me or I come to you, I do my best to create a calm, safe, and loving environment. At my home, pets have room to play, relax, and feel like part of the family alongside my friendly GSP pup and two laid-back cats. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’m always respectful of your space and stick closely to your pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free.
