About: I grew up having dogs, cats, chickens, a turtle and a mouse and always wished to have more! And then started pet sitting for other people’s furry babies. I have experience with the most active and excited, as well as shy and quiet souls. I’ve learned how to take care of puppies and senior dogs. I’ve taken some classes for my mom’s dog to train him which gave me even more of an understanding of their behavior. But most of all, I truly love each pet I meet! About: I have experience working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and care needs both in a professional setting and as a pet owner! At my previous doggy daycare job, I walked, fed, administered medication to, and boarded with dogs. I also have cared for cats for 3 years and have some experience caring for birds (and absolutely love them! particularly cockatiels and conures) I currently am a full time student and have 2 days off during the work week thanks to online classes, so more time to care for pets! I live in a large apartment with no personal pets. Dogs would be crated when I’m in class (only a few hours a day, less than 6 usually) and free to roam when I’m home, with at least 2 relief walks a day. I have one female roommate who is also experienced in caring for dogs, but I will be the only one responsible for the dog’s care. Care at a client’s home would all depend on their personal preferences! I am comfortable sleeping over for any type of pet.
