“This was the longest we have left our pup with someone outside of our family and Jerri did great acclimating Issa to the new environment and comforting her when she felt uneasy about the change (or thunderstorms). Our dog did an overnight before our trip to make sure she vibed with Jerri's dogs which helped smooth the transition even more. Jerri gave us regular updates while we were on our trip which made us feel better about leaving our pup while we were gone. Would love to work with Jerri again in the future!”

“Great sitter! Sent pictures how my Harley was doing. Great picture! Harley was very happy with Kim. Kim was very kind and patient with Hailey. I felt Harley was very safe with Kim and she spoiled him like he was one of her own. Excellent 👌.”

“Sabrina along with her husband and children spoiled chance all weekend. He had a wonderful time playing with their pup. I’ve loved getting all of the pictures and updates daily. I would recommend Sabrina for any of your pet care needs.”

“Kathy was kind and compassionate to our goldendoodle Bingo. She texted daily pictures and updates. Our first time leaving our dog and we're were nervous but she was great.we will definitely be using her again.”

“10 out of 10. No Notes. Attentive. Responsive. Patient. Understanding. Just a few words to describe Erin and the level of care she (and her family) provided. Each day, I received photos and videos, including some behavior updates (Pearl is a puppy after all). While Pearl was excited to see me, I could tell she missed Erin and her family— whimpering the entire car ride home. :) Without hesitation, I would book Erin again. One of the best Rover sitters I have ever experienced.”

“I trust Ralph 100%. I have an anxious senior toy poodle, but Ralph makes sure she's comfortable in his home and picks other clients that he think will respect her space. When I have to go out of town, I know Ralph will take great care of her!”

“Logan (and Grace) were great! His communication was quickly responsive initially, and regular on a daily basis including pictures of how happy Mocha was during her stay. We are very protective of Mocha, and Logan made sure she was safe and getting along with their cat and one other dog they were caring for during part her stay. I know if they were not getting along he would have kept them separate and protected her. But turns out they all got along. I won’t hesitate to use Logan as my first choice if we ever have need for a caretaker in the future. Thanks Logan!”

“Kaleigh was great with my dogs! She took great care of them while we were out of town. Sent me several pictures too which eased my mind about having a new sitter. Will definitely rebook with her in the future. Thanks Kaleigh for everything you did for the girls!”

“Dog had a great time. Easy drop off and easy pick up. Kayti is very nice and very professional. Didn’t have to worry about anything while we were good. Seemed to be in good hands after dropping off!”

“Nova had the time of her life at Jessica's house! I think she was sad she had to come home - LOL. She made herself right at home with the other dogs and Jessica's family. We will definitely book again when we need to go out of town - much more personal than the kennel we usually use.”

“Michael and his family were excellent in caring for our 2 dogs for a week. Kept us updated with pictures and messages. Will definitely use again and would recommend others utilize him as well.”

About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. They are welcome to lay where they are comfortable and shares the bed with me if needed.
“Our fur babies had a wonderful time with Maria and her family. We received countless pictures and messages throughout our 10 day trip that illustrated how happy and loved our dogs were. Maria even gave them baths just before we returned! We highly recommend Maria and will use her again.”

“We were traveling through Michigan and needed a cat sitter for two nights. Ashley was great at communicating before we arrived. During our cat's stay, she sent updates with pictures. Would definitely use her again!”

“Great sitters. My dogs very energetic and demanding when it comes to attention. They kept me updated and helped me out in a pinch with a last minute stay. Will be my go to for pup sitting!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
