She understands the importance of allowing your dog to go at their own pace and acclimate to their environment during the initial meet and greet and each subsequent visit. She never pushes dogs for interactions they aren’t ready for, which is especially important in my case as one of my dogs is fearful and easily stressed. Kathy also has a dog of her own - the tiniest, sweetest thing. Even my very shy dog doesn’t mind her. Overall, I’d say every experience I’ve had with Kathy has been excellent. She’s good with both dogs and people, she’s caring and easy to talk to, and I find her to be trustworthy and dependable. I’m very grateful to have found her!”

He was very responsive, and his quick replies helped me check in on her. I was informed that there were a couple of diarrheal episodes. It would have been more helpful for me to relay these episodes to the vet if they had been described in more detail with text and photos. I also came home early and greatly appreciated his flexibility in allowing me to pick Maggie up a day early. Lastly, I wish Rover supported video so that I could see Maggie during her stay. Overall, I’m grateful for the care Ralph provided.”
“Logan (and Grace) were great! His communication was quickly responsive initially, and regular on a daily basis including pictures of how happy Mocha was during her stay. We are very protective of Mocha, and Logan made sure she was safe and getting along with their cat and one other dog they were caring for during part her stay. I know if they were not getting along he would have kept them separate and protected her. But turns out they all got along. I won’t hesitate to use Logan as my first choice if we ever have need for a caretaker in the future. Thanks Logan!”

About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. About: I've been around and have helped care for dogs and cats all shapes and sizes. Each one I've personally owned are a part of the family! I would take care of your fur baby like I'd want mine taken care of. I am a homeschooling mom which means your fur baby will be kept company while in my care. During the school year, on Saturdays, we sometimes will have sporting events to go to, as well as some week nights we will go to extracurricular practices but never gone for long! I currently have Midland's rail trail right in my back yard for nice walks if that's something you would like done. When we move in March we will have a large open park right in our backyard! We have a sweet Goldador at home that loves playmates and also two cats that sleep the day away. My three kids (ages 8 - 13) have been shown from the beginning how to respect and love animals and they will be a wonderful addition to keeping your fur babies feeling loved and cared for!

Handling Aggressive or Special Needs Pets I have extensive experience with fearful, reactive, and aggressive pets, but clear and honest communication is essential: Cats: I am comfortable handling feral or aggressive cats and will take the necessary time to build trust. I can administer medication as needed, but I require full transparency about their behavior to ensure safety for all. Dogs: I can accommodate dogs with minor behavioral challenges, such as leash reactivity or mild anxiety. However, for safety reasons, I cannot accept: Dogs over 50 lbs who are not at least moderately leash-trained. Dogs requiring a muzzle or choke collar in public settings. Dogs with severe aggression or unpredictable behavior. Double-Booking Policy For the safety and well-being of all pets, I do not double-book boarding, daycare, or walks unless all parties have given consent and a meet-and-greet has taken place. If multiple dogs are staying in my home at the same time, a meet-and-greet is required. Even if the dogs get along, they will not be left alone together unless securely crated. Cats and dogs boarding in my home simultaneously will be kept in separate areas with no contact.

About: When I have been a sitter in the past I was in charge of admitting medication few times a day. Feed dogs separates if they had special feedings. I also did overnight stays up to 5 days. I also walked the dogs a couple times a day. I also have watched up to four dogs at a time. I currently very open at this point in time. It would have been more helpful for me to relay these episodes to the vet if they had been described in more detail with text and photos. I also came home early and greatly appreciated his flexibility in allowing me to pick Maggie up a day early. Lastly, I wish Rover supported video so that I could see Maggie during her stay. Overall, I’m grateful for the care Ralph provided.”
“Logan (and Grace) were great! His communication was quickly responsive initially, and regular on a daily basis including pictures of how happy Mocha was during her stay. We are very protective of Mocha, and Logan made sure she was safe and getting along with their cat and one other dog they were caring for during part her stay. I know if they were not getting along he would have kept them separate and protected her. But turns out they all got along. I won’t hesitate to use Logan as my first choice if we ever have need for a caretaker in the future. Thanks Logan!”

About: Hi! I am new to Rover, but caring for dogs is something my family truly loves. I have a friendly golden retriever named Stanley who absolutely thrives when he has other dogs to play with—so hosting furry friends is a joy for all of us! I work from home most days, which means your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My young kids also love having dogs around and are gentle, playful, and used to being around animals. I also have a cat in our home who is very comfortable around dogs—she and Stanley are great friends—so your pup should be cat-friendly or at least respectful of cats. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor playtime, and I treat every dog that stays with us like part of the family. Whether your dog loves to play or just relax, I will make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home. Since I’m just getting started on Rover, I’m excited to build relationships with both pets and their owners and provide a safe, trustworthy environment you can feel confident in. I currently work a hybrid schedule. I am home 2-3 days a week. We do have a fenced in yard and a doggy door. I have a fenced in yard and my animals are our family. They are welcome to lay where they are comfortable and shares the bed with me if needed.

She has a big fenced in backyard which gave Ruger lots of opportunities to get in his exercise and to play with Bella. I highly recommend Alisha to look after your fur baby and I will definitely be taking Ruger to her again if I need a sitter.”
