About: I am a retired nurse with 44 years of experience taking care of patients, but also have cared for pets throughout my adult life. I am active and able to care for your special family member. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule including the ability for overnight care, early mornings, or late evenings. I live on the south side of Terre Haute with reliable transportation. I enjoy taking my pets for walks, even during the cool temperatures. I like to talk to and play with my pets. I love dogs and their interactions with humans. My career started 20 years ago at a Humane Society who I was with for eight years. I worked as a vet assistant for several years and then went on to manage at a canine campus. About: I have always loved having pets, especially since I grew up with two of them in my household. One of them was a Cane Corso and the other was a Chihuahua Terrier mix. Additionally, my grandmother has three tiny dogs that I have had the pleasure of growing up with. My love for animals, especially dogs, has inspired me to pursue a career as a zoologist. In fact, I even took vet classes while attending Duncanville High School. I have a balanced schedule that allows me to take care of my pets. As a student athlete and animal enthusiast, I'm currently home full time having recently graduated from college. I have a fenced back yard and a open front yard. As far as dog waking, I live in a circular community which make it very easy to walk around, yet get a exercise as well

About: I grew up with all kinds of pets and have continuined the tradition in my own home. The last few years since becoming a remote worker, I have been pet sitting in clients homes administering simple meds and taking general care of their cats and dogs (often both). I work remote, so there aren't too many obstacles in the way of scheduling. I typically have plans throughout the week, often around 2-4 hours total, that would take me out of the home. Otherwise, I'll be in the home taking care of your pet. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home, keeping them on their usual schedule. I provide walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of love while respecting your space.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and truly can’t imagine life without them. I’ve cared for all kinds of furry friends over the years — from ferrets and hamsters to cats and dogs — and I bring that same love and attention to every pet I watch. I currently have three dogs of my own (a German Shepherd and two French Bulldogs) along with two cats, so I’m very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, from incubating and bottle-feeding puppies to providing gentle, patient care for senior pets. Friends, family, and neighbors have consistently trusted me to care for their pets, whether for quick check-ins or longer stays. I treat every animal as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their routines. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority. That could change later with meet and greets with my own pets, but for now I'm available to come to where your pet knows best! I would love a meet and greet with your fur baby. We can discuss your pets routine in your home and have a plan of care laid out to ease your worries.

About: While I enjoy all animals, cats are my favorite. I have loved and cared for countless cats requiring various levels of care from kittens to seniors. I have experience administering shots and medications, personalized feeding, cleaning, and even birthing. I have studied and researched cat behaviors since I could read. I love each fur baby like they are my own. I'm the friend that always has cat food in their car or leaves the party to sit with the cat that's hiding in the closet. I work full-time, but I have all evenings and weekends free to spend time with your pets. If nearby, I can make quick trips during the day. I can dedicate as much time as needed during weekends. I am also able to keep cats at my home if preferred for more interaction time and socialization with my two friendly kitties. Dog (or cat) walks are limited to evenings or weekends. Must have a leash/harness. I let the animals take charge for the most part. I find that they will tell you what they need, and it is up to you to interpret them. Structure can be important, but following their lead and understanding their instincts can save you time and energy. I also try to be firm when it comes to meals and treats. (sometimes a challenge!) Health and longevity are most important to me.

About: I’ve always been a pet owner but have been a care provider and advocate for 20 years. I have volunteered or worked with animals from a young age. I am currently an educator who tries to make time to help others, but especially help furry friends! Teaching gives me long breaks and free evenings. I run and walk with my own dogs often. I have several years of experience in petting sitting and have previous experience working in emergency veterinary hospitals. I am comfortable with any size or type of pet, including various types of farm animals. I am able to walk dogs and exercise them in any way needed. I am able to give injectable and oral medications, care for special needs pets, such as diabetics which I have plenty of experience with both personally and pet sitting and have experience with senior pets. About: I have been around dogs my whole entire life from my family having them to me adopting dogs as well as taking them in when needed and saving them! I have my own dog named Trappy and 2 cats named Pickles and Nico! I work a full time job Wednesday-Sunday until 4pm after that I am available as well as Monday and Tuesday all day. Sundays are excluded. Communication is key I can make arrangements! Feed Trappy with a half can of wet food in the morning, as well as split a wet can of food for the cats and put out dry food for free feeding. Keep the water fountain clean and full

“Abigail did several drop-in visits for me while I was on vacation. She came over to meet my pets a few days before I left. I felt at ease after meeting her and I could tell she was an animal lover. She did a great job following my pets’ routine and was always in time. During my vacation, one of my cats became ill. Abigail notified me right away and sent pictures of my cat’s eye. Abigail offered to take my cat to a vet and also called around to try to get an appt since I’m new to the area. I’m very grateful to Abigail for taking good care of my pets while I was away. About: I have always been around animals, I currently have 4 furry friends that I take care of. I have always been the friend to ask to pet sit and help take care of them. I am available anytime during the week. I have a very part time job and also work remotely so i have very flexible time. Willing to work with you I currently have a decent size dog park behind my apartment. I also have a mile greenway that my neighbor and I take the dogs too 4-5 times a week that leads to a huge dog park that they get to run around and meet other dogs.

You just let me know what you are needing from me. I currently have 1 dog of my own and 1 cat. I also have some exotic animals such as my chameleon, sugar gliders, dart frogs, & crested gecko! I know how much attention they need and deserve. I have taken care of my own pets and family members pets for years, along with working in a dog boarding facility for over a year. I was a 10 year 4H member with livestock. I showed swine, sheep, & goats. I've always been a huge animal lover and would love to get to know you and your special dog, cat, or little critter!
