“Brianna was fantastic! She stayed in my home from Thursday until Sunday to watch my nine-year-old Vizsla and three year-old cat. Not only was she extremely responsive, but proactive about communication as well! She sent photos and kept me informed of things going on at my house like bad weather that caused a power outage and my lawn care company coming to cut the grass. She also kept my home extremely clean during her stay, honestly going above and beyond in several ways! My dog can be quite needy, and Brianna was not phased by that. She made me feel very comfortable about trusting her in my home and with my animals, which says a lot about her professionalism and level of care. While I would love to gate keep her so she is available whenever I need her, I figure she needs more than 1 “regular.” 10/10 highly recommend!”

“I usually use Rover's boarding option, however, I wasn't able to find anyone in close proximity during this busy summer. With this being my first time using the house sitting service, I was nervous about leaving my dog and opening my home to someone I had just barely met. However, Mahle made this experience less stressful. We established a meet and greet a few days after I initially requested the days I needed a sitter for my dog. She responded promptly to my messages and showed up right on time. She was friendly, interacted and played with Koa as we discussed Koa's schedule and personality. When we were away, I did have to message her to see how everything was going and she responded quickly with updates of my dog and a picture. She was very respectful of my property and most importantly I came home to a happy dog. About: Hi, I am Mamie (I have gone by Mamie since birth but am technically named Mary) and I have had dogs, cats, and many smaller critters throughout my life, and my own pets for over 25 years. My mother was a vet tech and I grew up rescuing many animals, and continued that tradition into adulthood, so I have ample experience in a multitude of pet types and situations I work as a housekeeper around the Pittsburgh area from about 7am-3pm mon-thursday, so will not be available in the home or for potty breaks during those hours. The absolute longest I would leave a pet during a house-sitting is 8 hours on those days. All other outings/errands would be less than four hours, tops, but usually only about an hour. I am comfortable with more or less any pet, from rodents to lizards and I am not squirmish about even the creepy crawlies and slithery noodles. I can and have given almost every kind of medication there is, including subcutaneous injections, and am comfortable doing so with care and compassion and confidence. I am just starting out with professional pet sitting on Rover, I did it years ago in Seattle as a side gig on my own with Craigslist posts, and have had a couple gigs on here so far. I am clean, responsible, and trustworthy. I will only take jobs with a meet and greet beforehand, and you can get a feel for my vibe and professionalism at that time, but I am sure you will like me and feel comfortable having me in your home. As a housekeeper I am used to going into strangers homes and having a high level of integrity and care for their space and belongings. I also am very clean and fastidious. I keep things looking like I wasn't there as much as possible, and will clean litter boxes daily and change water bowls daily and do deep cleans of water fountains 1x a week. I work as a housekeeper from 7am-3pm mon-thursday around the greater Pittsburgh area. If you have multiple dogs who need round the clock supervision and you book me at least three weeks before the sitting start date, than we could work that out and I could block out my housekeeping schedule for that time and just be available for the sitting job (my rates will be increased in this situation as I am priced for my current availability, not constant care and being unable to make my normal wages during the sit). I don't do sitting in my own home since I have two cats and a husband and no fenced in yard. In clients homes I am respectful, clean, tidy, responsible and trustworthy. I mind my business and am not judgemental. I will spend lots of time loving and socializing your pets, and I set alarms and try to keep potty breaks frequent to avoid accidents and less stress.

“We are so grateful to have had Allison stay with our Corgi while we were away for a week. Our dog has anxiety and typically becomes very stressed while we are away, but Allison stayed at our home, followed his usual routine as closely as possible, and made sure to give him some extra love. She would check-in with us daily to let us know how things were going and would ask questions if she was unsure of something. She was respectful with our home and belongings and made sure to leave things nice and tidy for our return. As someone who tends to leave a lot of instructions when it comes to staying with our dogs, I can’t recommend Allison enough! She truly made us feel comfortable that she had things under control so that we could enjoy our vacation.”

About: I've had cats and dogs all my life. I grew up with 3 dogs, and once I was in college I had two Rottweilers that have since passed onto the rainbow bridge. They were my pride and joy - our favourite thing to do together was camp! Looking to fill the pet void by helping some fellow yinzers out. I take the upmost pride in keeping your animal safe and at ease. I won't take your precious fur baby anywhere unfamiliar, especially when first getting to know each other. I also will treat your animal as if they were mine. I am a teacher who is on summer break and looking for a career change. I am available all days, anytime until I find my next gig. Once I have another full time job, I will update availability. I do not offer care in my own home (Husband is allergic). I have a kind demeanour and have always loved animals. Kindness leads all of my actions. I promise to keep your fur babies in good care.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, including the 4 family dogs I have now. I watched neighbors, family, and friends dogs. My golden retriever and I did a training program where we did intro level training. I am currently on summer break from school, so I am able to work most days. I am willing to adjust schedule to fit the care necessary. My home has an electric fence, but I usually bring my dogs to parks or trails to walk and play. Willing to bring your dogs to parks and trails as well as your yard to play. I love to make any animal comfortable in their home, and cater to them.
