“Rick and Angela were absolutely wonderful with our Shih Tzu, Spike, while we were at Disney World. From the moment we left, we felt completely at ease knowing Spike was in such loving and capable hands. They sent daily photos and updates, which meant so much to us and truly helped us enjoy our trip without worry. When a snowstorm hit, they were incredibly flexible and went above and beyond to make sure Spike was safe, comfortable, and well cared for. It was clear that Spike wasn’t just being “watched” — he was genuinely loved and spoiled. The extra cuddles, attention, and care they gave him made all the difference. We came home to a very happy fur baby! We are beyond grateful to Rick and Angela and would not hesitate to book them again. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable sitters.”
“She sent a lot of updates and pictures, and I can tell Chevi was loved during her stay. Chevi will be going back over later this week! PS. Chevi is a 120 pound Cane Corso so if you have a large dog you can feel safe here!”
“This is the second time I have left my dogs with Kristen and once again she was wonderful! She sent some great pictures and most importantly my babies came home happy and healthy! Will continue to book with Kristen whenever I’m able”

“Jessica was great. She watched our dog Hunter for a few days while we were picking up our daughter from college. She was communicative and sent pictures every day. Hunter loved playing with Her dog Maple and cuddling with her daughter at night. Hunter seemed like he had a great time. Thanks Jessica.”

“We used Wendy to watch our dog Max for the second time last week. She sends pictures every day and I know from her comments that he is well taken care of. She says her girls love him and I won’t hesitate to use her and her family again!”

“Matthew and Heidi did a wonderful job watching my girls! Cleopatra (dog) and Boudicca (cat) were well taken care of and they enjoyed their stay, particularly playing with Tenley. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. They were very responsive with communication and provided photos of both the girls. This really helped to reduce my stress about leaving them in a new environment. Thanks again M & H!”

“If I could give 100 stars, I would! Rebecca and Stan sent several photos and videos of my dog during her stay to keep me updated on her. Their home is set up perfectly with a fenced-in yard, and gates so the pups can't run out the door or yard. They are the best and I will use them again!”

“Emily was awesome! She kept me updated daily with pictures and text messages. I felt very comfortable with leaving my dog while on vacation with Emily. I'm very pleased and will use her for the future.”

“I highly recommend Kelly. Bella was well taken care of and seemed to have been happy to "bond" with her dogs. Kelly was easy to communicate with and sent photos and updates . I would definitely board my dog with her again .”

“There aren't enough stars for a rating! Fabienne was just fabulous in every way. I received many photos so I knew my 12 year old lab was in good hands. She wrapped him in a thunder shirt during a thunder storm, gave him lots of love, and even forgave him for getting into her garbage!”

“I was trying to find a sitter to keep my puppy 4 days before I had to leave town and Cristina came through for me! I was nervous to leave him because we haven't left him with anyone else since we got him. She sent me pictures and let me know how he was doing throughout his stay. Cristina was great with my 3 month old puppy! If I need a sitter in the future, I will definitely be using her services.”

“Relieved to have found this place, my baby girl had a nice quiet room, yard and a playmate to play with while I was gone. I got regular picture updates which I loved would definitely recommend.”

“So kind and patient—I’d never left my dog with a sitter before and was very nervous, but I could tell right away that Peep was in good hands with Laura. She and her family were the right fit for Peep—I could tell that he was sad to leave them when I picked him up. ;)”

“Dorothy was fantastic and our puppy had a blast with her and her family. She is very accommodating, quick to respond and updates often. She did a fantastic job of keeping our puppy entertained with different activities. Would highly recommend!”

“Raquel was amazing! She provided updates throughout the day and sent lots of photos to keep us informed. She has a beautiful yard for the pups to enjoy, and they looked so happy and comfortable during their stay. We will definitely be using her again! ❤️🐾”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
