“Shelley was amazing! She watched our 2 dogs for 5 nights/6 days. Our 15 1/2 year old lab came with special needs which required daily bandages changes for a large ruptured tumor in her leg. Our dogs are bonded and have never been boarded. Our 6 1/2 year old pittie/heeler mix is very cautious with new people. Both our dogs loved Shelley immediately! She never flinched about the ruptured tumor, which is not for the faint of heart. She sent us pictures and updates daily, which was very appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Shelley and wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. Archie and Sophie says Shelley is a 10 out of 10.”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was young, and always had pets in my home! I am a huge huge animal lover! We currently have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 bearded dragons, chickens, ducks and rabbits. We love all animals! I have been a Stay at Home Mom since my girls were born. Now that they are older, I’m looking for new things to do that I enjoy, and can still be around for my family when they need me. I have a fenced in yard that the dogs run and play in, a detached garage with an attachment. Inside the attachment there is a couch, TV, AC, and heat, with plenty of room to run around and play! It makes a nice little hang out spot. We come out here to play and run around at times. There is also a security camera in the attachment as well. Dog must be potty trained, and good with other dogs and cats. Please be honest, so it won’t cause conflict while taking care of your baby and others. If we take care of larger dogs, they will stay in the attachment and not in the house.

About: I have loved and cared for dogs for as long as I can remember and have about 15 years of hands on pet care experience. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities and energy levels. I have fostered dogs through It Takes a Village, including puppies, senior dogs, small breeds and large breeds, so I am comfortable caring for dogs with very different needs. I currently have several dogs of my own and dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved and included while they are in my care. I am able to provide a home environment where your dog does not have to spend the day alone. I can keep your pet’s normal routine as much as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, crate time and plenty of cuddles. I understand that every dog is different and I am happy to follow your instructions and routine. About: We have been pet owners for most of our lives. We currently have 2 cavalier King Charles dogs. We have been dog sitting for many years now and we love it. My husband and I are both retired now and have moved to Kentucky and are just starting to use the Rover platform. We stay and play not just let them out and then leave.
