About: I have a dog of my own and two cats, and I’ve spent countless hours training them and giving them all the love and support they could ever need. I’ve also cared for family members' pets, volunteered at shelters, and worked as an assistant at a dog grooming salon, so I truly understand what each pet needs. Your dog will receive personalized attention and feel like part of my family! Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine since I work part-time and have plenty of availability. I’m flexible with dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and while my schedule may vary week to week, I always keep it updated so you’ll know exactly when I’m available. I’m more than happy to work with you to find times that best fit your needs and your pet’s routine When caring for pets in a client's home, I always prioritize the pet owner’s expectations and requests. Whether it’s sticking to a specific feeding schedule, following their daily routine, or providing extra playtime, I make sure to follow their guidelines exactly as they ask. I treat your home and pets with the utmost respect, ensuring they feel safe and loved while you're away. Your pet’s well-being and your peace of mind while you’re away is my priority!

About: As an enthusiastic pet lover with a full-time job at a pet store and the proud owner of two adorable cats, I have immersed myself in the world of pet care for years. Growing up with dogs has instilled a deep understanding of canine behavior, while my feline companions have given me unique insights into the needs and quirks of our feline friends. This combined experience allows me to cater to both dogs and cats with the utmost love, attention, and care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I plan my schedule around your pet’s comfort—ensuring regular potty breaks every 4–8 hours, meals on time, play sessions, and lots of affection. Whether it’s a short visit or a longer stay, I make sure your pets feel relaxed, loved, and well cared for. Compassion First: I treat every pet like family, always prioritizing their comfort, safety, and happiness. Experience Counts: My experience at a pet store and as a multi-pet owner has taught me how to handle a wide range of behaviors, dietary needs, and situations—whether it’s picky eating, anxiety, or energetic zoomies. Tailored Care: I adapt to each pet’s routine, and I’m happy to follow specific feeding schedules, administer medications, or work with special needs pets.

About: I’m an experienced pet and farm sitter. I’ve taken care of other peoples animals, ranches and farms (chickens, cows, horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, dogs, bunnies and cats) for over 10 years. My clients are now primarily dogs and cats, but I am experienced and open to accepting all animals! I have experience with live-stock guardian pets, reactive animals, high energy pets, and pets that just want to relax all day. I’ve worked in shelters, on farms, and in training for over 10 years. Your animals will be treated just like my own-with love, respect and understanding! I am typically unavailable Tuesdays and Thursdays, but always feel free to ask about a particular Tuesday or Thursday and I may be able to schedule with you. Feel free to ask any questions about schedules. My rates include constant care while I’m with your animals. I don’t currently offer boarding since one of my dogs is reactive. About: I have taken care of animals since I was a child all the way from administration of medicine to birthing animals on a farm to just feeding and walking and loving on animals. I have had experience with puppies all the way to seniors. I have also helped train animals on and off. I would love to have the chance to be your fur babies next best friend. I am free almost always as I work from home. I work from home and I am free almost always and always can make time for animals. I am free mornings all the way to evenings. I live on a farm in a fenced in yard. My sheep are separated from the other animals but do well around the sheep but I would keep clients animals away. One dog is an outside dog but comes in and one is a full time inside dog. She sleeps with me and loves to go on car rides and both are friendly animals. I have cats who live on the farm but they do there on thing and get along well with other animals. I can follow instructions well if you have a certain way you would like things done.

About: I worked at Mountain View Animal Hospital starting as a receptionist the. Transferring to a kennel assistant. As a receptionist I had to communicate information to the client regarding their pets care and meds. Which helped me learn the medical aspect of the hospital. I then realized I wanted to spend more time with the animals so I transferred to be kennel assist. I was feeding, bathing and playing with the boarding dogs and cats. Following all instructions on meds, meals, and restrictions a client request to take care of their furry friends. Along with my experience at the hospital I’ve always grown up with households full animals. I’m a stay at home mom who spends most of my time taking care of my daughter. This will give me the opportunity to use my time spending it with some loving pets. I am not offering services in my home at the moment. With that in mind I do find myself to very clean and mindful. You wil always return to your home at it was, and your fur babies happy. I am always attentive, I make sure to keep an eye on them so I can notice any change in behaviors. Emily was so wonderful. We all know that someone that can care for your fur baby (just as much as you do) is sometimes hard to find. However, after Day 1 of Emily walking Apollo (out of our 4 walks booked) I did not have to worry one bit. She even spent extra time with him since he was just enjoying his time so much with her. We will definitely reach out to Emily more often for just some extra care/walks now and not only for our of town/special occasions. Thank you so much again Emily!

About: I am a loving pet mom for 15 yrs and before and during that time I have helped many others with their animals. I can sit, check in and play with, and take for walks. I love animals and giving them attention because I know it is so important. I work from home so I love reasons to get out of the house and pet friends to keep me company at night. I work and stay 100% near the outskirts of Yuba City. My pets and their friends safety in #1 in my house and yard. I have a very large fenced in back yard and I have proofed it so not even very small dogs (like mine) can find a way out. I am an avid pet counter before doors are open and I double and sometimes triple check that the home is secured before I leave, we don’t want any babies to get out of their safe space.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 480 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Peachton. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Peachton. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Peachton.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Peachton. On Rover:

  • 88% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 91% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
