He was tired but so so happy when we went to pick him up, which means max gave him plenty of exercise and love. Max talked us through cowboy’s behavior and sent updates throughout the weekend. Max is a very knowledgeable dog trainer and took the time to get to know cowboy and help with some of his reactivity in just a weekend. We will only be using Max for future rovering. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life — from raising a puppy to caring for multiple dogs at once. Whether your pup is young and energetic or a bit of a senior citizen who needs a gentler touch, I’ll love and care for them both. Looking forward to your dog having a second home with The Doggy Inn. I’m an attorney, and home nearly the whole day and available to give your pet the love and care it needs. See the general schedule below (can be flexible based on your dog’s needs): • Morning (6:00-7:00 am): potty break, breakfast, and play/exercise • Between Hours (extra potty breaks when needed + random play time; well-behaved dogs may roam the house, otherwise, dogs may be crated or have limited roaming) • Mid-Day (11:00-12:00 pm): potty break and play/exercise • Between Hours • Evening (4:30-5:30 pm): potty break, dinner, and play/exercise • Between Hours • Bedtime (9:00-9:15 pm): potty break For your dog's optimal stay: What to bring: - Your dog's food, collar + leash; feel free also to bring (i.e., optional) treat, toys, bed/sleeping mat, etc. During the night, when I'm not at the house, and some other times during the day (see "Between Hours" on my schedule), your dog may be temporarily placed in a crate/kennel. If your dog is good on a leash, I will take it for walks; otherwise, I can play lots of games in the yard (which is over an acre) for exercise and fun. If you want your dog freshened up, I will give the dog a simple bath for $15-75, depending on size and hair length. General Health (for the safety of your dog and myself): - Vaccines: Your dog must be up-to-date on its vaccines (e.g., Rabies). - Flea treatment: Your dog must have current flea treatment (within the last 30 days). The Doggy Inn does not accept short-snouted dogs (e.g., pit bulls).

“There are not enough good things to say about Amiee. We had a sitter cancel last minute as we were getting ready to leave for a wedding. Amiee came to our rescue and agreed to watch our Terra for the weekend. Terra is an elderly dog of 14 and we could tell she immediately felt comfortable with Amiee. Regular photos and communication along with a clear love of animals will definitely have us coming back. Thank you so much!”

While I don’t currently have weekday availability during the school year, I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable care for your pet on weekends and during the summer months. I’m currently offering drop-ins and walks, my primary focus is ensuring your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved in their own environment. During check-ins, I make sure your pet has everything they need, whether that’s food, water, medication, or just a little playtime or cuddle session. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible to minimize stress and keep them feeling secure while you’re away. For walks, I always prioritize safety, ensuring your pet is on a secure leash and in a safe area. I adjust the pace of the walk based on your pet’s age and energy level, ensuring they get the right amount of exercise and attention they need. We provide constant updates so that you feel comfortable while you’re away from your pet. Pets under our care are never left alone, and we make sure all interactions are positive and that everyone is having a good time.
