About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my extensive hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and my ability to provide specialized care. I have a 10-year-old dog that I personally trained and continue to care for through his senior years, managing complications from old age and two ACL tears With dedicated rehab and treatment. In addition to this, I rescued two kittens when they were only two days old, bottle feeding them for months after losing their mother. I’ve also worked on a horse ranch where I trained and rescued horses, and took care of a range of animals, including pigs, goats, cattle, chickens, and more. My experience with hunting dogs and my background in animal rehab rehabilitation further sets me apart, as I understand, the unique needs for each animal, and I’m committed to providing the best care possible. I’m currently a student athlete at UH Hilo with most of my weekday availability after 11am and I have a lot of availability on the weekends. About: *I AM BACKPACKING THE NA PALI COAST 8/5-8/12 AND WILL BE WITHOUT SIGNAL AND UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES DURING THIS TIME* I travel off island often and can't have my own puppy family, so I will watch your fur-babies like they are my own! I enjoy the adventure of pup-sitting at homes all over the island. I work remotely so am able to be away from my place for long stretches of time. While I like to explore the local areas I stay in, I will mostly be snuggled up with your fur-babies typing away. I am a veteran with Rover- In fact I have been pet-sitting before Rover existed using Craigslist. I have a huge love for all animals and am very experienced with caring for different types of animals and breeds. I am patient, and gentle with a huge heart for animals. I understand every household has different culture. I always try and mimic all the rules of the home. Pets not allowed on the couch? no problem. Dogs like to sleep in the bed with owners? I am an expert puppy snugger. Perhaps the best. I will try and reinforce all commands and rules so there is a seamless transition upon your return. When dog-sitting in your home I will leave it better than I found it and happily respect boundaries and house rules. * My property is in Hilo but I am open to sitting at homes all over the island. In fact, I love to! I will text picture updates to my clients so they feel comforted that their sweetheart is being loved on. Why I love dog sitting: I had a Golden Retriever rescue for over 15 years till he passed 10 years ago. I travel a lot and didn't think it was fair to get another dog, but have been pet sitting since. I LOVE having dog energy still around... and the friendships I have made with my puppy parents. For my lifestyle it's the best of both worlds! I work remotely so am very flexible with my schedule and love having pets around to love on while exploring new and interesting locations on this beautiful island. My place is in Hilo but am open to doing pet sit stays all around the Big Island. Initial meeting can be done with a zoom call before meet and greet if too far from my area. I can also do house drop in visits if it coordinates with my location at the time needed. Right now I am primarily house sitting since my property does not have a fenced yard. I will match your schedule as best as possible and take care of your place the way you desire.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old for neighbors, friends and family. These people have relied on me to walk, feed, and board their pets. I have worked and volunteered at National Mill Dog Rescue for four years where I have enjoyed socializing with dogs in a kennel or play yard, command puppy parties and walks, and have lead outreach programs and events. I'm currently a junior in college who is unemployed, so I'll have plenty of time to walk, run, and play with your pups or kittens! My schedule is currently very open on weekends and during the week it can fluctuate with my class times. I can always make a house stop or walk anytime after 9 am. Home services are currently inactive. However I can provide pet care in the comfort of your home to be sure your pup is enjoying their stay while you're away.

About: Aloha i'm a dog and people person i like to interact with both. I go college and work part time on Monday and Wednesday between 8am and 2pm. Also i work bite squad part time mostly in the evenings Thursday thru sunday. I can speak Hawaiian and most dogs understand me in both languages. I find it very cool and interesting in training dogs to sit or to get down in hawaiian or English. I am myself around dogs i can be calm and playful at times and most dogs like me. Not all but most. I am sure i can get along with almost anyone's dog as long as they have been trained well in manners and are calm like me. Thanks a lot I work a lot part time plus doing my internship at my college. I'm a full time student worker. I hope how to do more. I took care of dogs by playing with them, taking them on walks and runs back in the day and swim with them I hope that we'll trust each other.

About: I've been taking care of multiple pets at the same time since I was a kid. As an adult I have a few of my own as well as help my friends and family with theirs. About: I’ve always loved animals as long as I can remember. I have had a lot of pets ranging from a pony to turtles to cockatiels. About: I have cared for dogs for as long as I can remember. I was gifted my first dog at 6 years old, but it was until she had puppies that I really learned how much we can learn from dogs. I have cared for 4 litters of puppies throughout my life, but I am also familiar with adult dogs of all breeds. I have been my neighborhood’s pet-sitter for very long, but now that I have moved from my hometown I’d love to get to know some new furry friends.
