She introduced Mavis to her apartment, and her pet is around the same age, Sushi, and gave us some great tips on helping Mavis settle in. The Blink camera in the room where Mavis stayed was a nice touch, allowing Crystal to check in on her whenever she was out, which was reassuring. Plus, she ensured Mavis got plenty of playtime – she understood Mavis's playful side. I was impressed by how Crystal helped Mavis and Sushi become friends. They hit it off after a little supervised playtime, which made me feel even better about leaving Mavis with her. What genuinely set Crystal apart was her communication. About: I’ve always had a love for animals and have spent years caring for dogs. I am comfortable with pets of all ages and energy levels, whether that means going on long walks, playing fetch, or just keeping them company. I always treat every pet like they are my own. Safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities and I am committed to making sure your furry friends feels loved while you’re gone. I am currently a student at Penn State University. I am Tuesday and Thursday anytime and Monday, Wednesday, Friday before 11 am and after 4 pm. I am always going on walks, so would love to take your furry friends with me! I will follow your directions whether that be long walks or just letting your animals out in the yard. Safety is super important to me and I will always make sure to follow your instructions!
About: I’ve always had family animals that I’ve adored and that got my foot into working in rescue! I’ve work with extra small to extra large dogs, a lot of cats and some other species. I feel very comfortable with behavioral differences in different animals. I’ve worked along side very talented vets and techs that have taught me a lot about medical care, as well. I work part time at home with a dog and two cats. I take physical and mental enrichment very seriously for all animals. Any animal I’m caring for comes first everyday. A tired dog is a happy dog. I have friendly animals at home, a large crate if needed and a separate room set up for shy animals to warm up to the other animals. We have a large (not fenced) yard but we take many long walks a day to keep up with physical needs!
