“I’m so very impressed by the care that Kailey showed my dog!! She walked him, changed his water daily and treated him well!! Thank you once again for helping me this week!”

About: I am currently studying at Wilson College for my Bachelors degree in Veterinary Nursing and am going into my junior year. I have experience volunteering at a cat shelter and I have pet sit friends’ cats and dogs. I as well have had a family dog, Otis for 11 years and my cat, Pearl for 5 years, and my 2 rats Lightning and Rocket for almost 2 years! I absolutely love all animals and I will take the best care of your fur babies as if they were my own while you relax! During these summer months I am (for the most part) a completely open book! I will select the days I am not available, but majority of my time is available! I would make sure your animal feels safe and loved at all times. I will provide them with fresh water always, and treats (with permission). I can also clean up any messes your pet may make in your absence. I also have no problem administering medication, however I would prefer to have a demonstration beforehand or meet beforehand and try with the owner present to ensure your pet is getting the medication they need correctly and calmly! I am able to spend any extra time to play or make sure your pet feels loved and comfortable during your time away!
“Ashley was amazing when she took care of our cats! She went above and beyond even offering to do things that we didn’t ask for (like washing their bowls and emptying their litter boxes). Will absolutely be using her again!”
“Marisa is trustworthy and dependable, and she always does a great job cat sitting for us. We appreciate her dedication to taking care of our kitties, and we look forward to booking with her again!”

I have also have had cats growing up and love them just as much to! I’m currently working part time so available days would be Tuesday Thursday and possibly Sundays or if I need to drop by once or twice on a Saturday if need be! I can gladly play with your dog in your home or yard, take them for a walk or just hang out and keep them company for a bit!
“A wonderful experience with Jessica! You can tell - even after a minute of talking with her - how much she loves animals. She took great care of our cat and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.”

About: As a young child I provided care for my neighbors pets while they were out of town. I’m excited to begin providing care again for families going on vacation or while at work. I currently work part time and every 4th weekend. I am available for walks and check in visits from 8:30-2pm as well as 4-8pm on my off days. We have 4 animals total. A 8 year old black lab, 4 year old cat, and 8 year old cat. Our dogs do well with other pets, they love to play. The younger cat likes to socialize with the other pets while the oldest prefers to hide out.
“Thank you Christine for sitting my kitties and all the pictures you sent with your updates. Christine was quick to respond back when I sent the request. She came over for a meet and greet before I left. Christine was very welcoming very friendly.”

“Michael came over to our house 2 times a day to feed our 2 Rottie shepherd mixes and let them out to use the bathroom. Him and his family were so great with the dogs! Our dogs are incredibly happy and looked like they had the best time ever in every pic! Michael came over in advance to meet the puppies and get an idea of what we needed, which I really appreciated! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our babies. If you are on the fence about who to select and reading everyone’s reviews like I did, I can say Michael was great and we will be recurrent customers for sure and plan on rebooking him for future travels we have coming up! Thank you so much again Michael and family! Our puppies are so happy!”

About: While I’ve only been pet sitting outside of my family for 6 years, I have never went without a pet at home & have volunteered with quite a few rescues! Currently only working part time, so I have a few extra days of the week available! Plus my shifts at work are almost always less than 8 hours. I unfortunately don’t do pet sitting in my home, as I have animals of my own. I do offer drop ins, dog walking & staying at your home with your pets!

“I'm so incredibly glad I found Deanna. My cat has a long and complicated medical history, including multiple pills and therapies (even an inhaler). On top of that, I'd never had to leave her home alone before. Needless to say I was WORRIED. But Deanna knows her stuff!!! She took excellent care of my baby and now I never need to be worried about overnight travel again. I will without a doubt rebook house visits with Deanna again (and again and again).”

About: I've been surrounded by furry friends my whole life. I adore all animals, big or small. I am happy to give you peace of mind while you allow me to take care of your pet. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12. When I lived with my dad, we had 2 chihuahuas and 2 pit mixes. I’ve also had bunnies, fish, and birds. I’ve taken care of a chinchilla for a friend. I also used to have a guinea pig named Asher! I am experienced with different animals. I am self employed and have school online for real estate at my own pace, so I am free pretty much any day and any time unless I have an appointment that day! Then I can work after! I can either be a cuddly companion and or play with them by playing fetch or taking them out on walks! I will make sure to keep the house nice and clean while I stay in the home of my clients!😁

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 23 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Parryville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
