Along with that I take the time to really get to know each dog on their own and establish a connection so that each party is happy. I currently work a full time job. I absolutely love all animals and I will take the best care of your fur babies as if they were my own while you relax! During these summer months I am (for the most part) a completely open book! I will select the days I am not available, but majority of my time is available! I would make sure your animal feels safe and loved at all times. I will provide them with fresh water always, and treats (with permission). I can also clean up any messes your pet may make in your absence. I also have no problem administering medication, however I would prefer to have a demonstration beforehand or meet beforehand and try with the owner present to ensure your pet is getting the medication they need correctly and calmly! I am able to spend any extra time to play or make sure your pet feels loved and comfortable during your time away!

I’ve also been entrusted to dog-sit multiple neighbors’ dogs, including a wolf/Husky hybrid named Loki; 2 “pitbull” mixes, Dicey and Scooby; and a GSD/Lab mix named Mya who has regular sleepovers at my house. I have experience giving dogs oral, drop, injectable, and subcutaneous IV medications. I take care to pay attention to the temperature outside and a dog’s needs and adjust walks accordingly (no walking on hot asphalt, make sure dogs with no undercoat are suitably dressed in cold weather, etc.). I’m a firm believer in letting dogs experience the world around them through smell, and allow them to sniff to their nose’s content on walks. If your dog is prone to pulling, please have a suitable harness available for use. (I highly recommend PetSafe EasyWalk harnesses.) NO prong, choke, or shock collars! I look forward to meeting you and your pup!! I work from home and my hours are flexible, so I am able to arrange my work schedule around the needs of you and your dog(s)! I always ensure that your dog’s collar/harness and leash are secure so they won’t slip out on a walk. I bring poop bags on every walk, and a water thermos and bowl on longer walks. Food, potty breaks, and medicine administration can all be given at drop-ins. I have experience giving oral medications, eye drops, injections, and sub-q IV drips to my own dogs, and can do so for yours as well with as much care and love as if they’re my own.

We have a nice-sized, non-fenced yard and a beautiful neighborhood for walks. We also have plenty of room inside for playing and snuggles! We all are looking forward to the opportunity to meet you and your pet and to take care of them like you would while you are unable to do so! Now that we have a pup, we are already on the dog walking/feeding a schedule! Adding another dog to that same routine would be easy to do! We love to spoil with attention to make them feel safe while in a new or different environment. Our pup will keep them company and provide lots of playtime if wanted. We can also crate, if preferred, to give space when needed.

About: As a young child I provided care for my neighbors pets while they were out of town. I’m excited to begin providing care again for families going on vacation or while at work. I currently work part time and every 4th weekend. I am available for walks and check in visits from 8:30-2pm as well as 4-8pm on my off days. We have 4 animals total. A 8 year old black lab, 4 year old cat, and 8 year old cat. Our dogs do well with other pets, they love to play. The younger cat likes to socialize with the other pets while the oldest prefers to hide out.
About: I have had dogs since I was 12. They have always been a favorite animal of mine. My family would always ask me to watch there dogs for them when they went away. I am off 2 days a week and I just wanted that time to spend taking care of dogs. I like to go on hikes and run around with my dog. I have a decent sized yard for your pups! My dog is also very friendly and would love some company whenever she can get it! I’m up to doing whatever you want for your pet.

I grew up with a Shih Tzu while my husband grew up with a Greyhound. We got married and found our first furry child, Opie, a Boston Terrier who has since passed away. Our yard is not fenced in, but we have a long line to keep your furry friend safe. If you normally crate your dog, no problem. Bring your crate and will set up their safe area for them. About: I’ve always had animals with me in my life. From birds to reptiles, cats and dogs all different kinds of pets I welcome! On my free time I sometimes watch veterinarian videos on how to care for different types of pets. My dream job is to work full time with animals/pets. Wanting to try out this app and see what experiences I am able to achieve. I currently work Sunday through Wednesday nights and am fully free from Thursday to Saturday. I do sometimes have my work nights off which would make me available. I currently live with a cat and a dog that are not mine.
