About: I’ve taken care of dogs only for family members usually short times or just a quick pop in for potty breaks and feeding times. I own a dog myself and know what it’s like to care for a dog and usually I’ve taken care of my dogs and held responsibility since I was young! I’m currently not working at the moment and I am a student currently and looking for a pastime or side hustle to get some experience and help take care of animals. I also watch over my own dog at home and have room to work. I have a fenced backyard that is decently big and my dog is friendly kind of curious to meet other dogs and would be willing to have them meet and they could play outside, use the restroom, etc.

About: Animal Care and service was my career and my passion for many years, since I was a child. I have had the opportunity to work with and learn from several Humane Societies and Animal Care Centers over the years. Loving, Caring for and protecting Animals have always been my passion as well as serving in my community. This is my opportunity to share my home, my passion and my love for animals with your (furry) family member and I am excited about that. I have always appreciated the trust, loyalty and respect given to me by the owners that love their dogs, simply put! It’s just a wonderful feeling to be around all that love. I am officially retired so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family member, I also have a flexible schedule so that I can offer several Animal Care Services I have a gated front yard, fenced rear yard and a secure pool area if your dogs likes to have water fun, additional secure small Animal play Area (my Boston’s love it). The security cameras also give that little extra feeling of safety. I have crates, dog beds and private quiet rooms for the Animals to sleep or rest in if needed so your animal always feels totally at home. (because that’s the real goal!❤️).

About: I’ve had every pet you can possibly imagine and I’ve taken care of them with all my love and knowledge! As a kid I wasn’t allowed to have cats or dogs as we lived in a small apartment. So I had hermit crabs, hamsters, turtles and fishes. At age 15 I got my first cat and now I’m a proud cat owner of 5! 2 of them live with me and the other 3 stayed with my mom when I moved out 2 years ago. But I still make time to visit them often. I also have a 1 year old puppy who I love very much. I also had a Veiled Chameleon who I had for almost 4 years. She past away last April but she lived her full life expectancy and had an enriching life. Im able to give oral medications, potty breaks, walks, play time, and cuddles. I work a 4/10/40 scheduled which is 10 hour days, 4 days a week, 40 hours total. I work 3 days in the office and 1 day from home and I am off Friday through Sunday. I have 2 loving fixed inside females cats and a 1 year old crate trained puppy who is also fixed. They are very loving of other animals and mostly just curious. They are all vaccinated as well.

About: Pet Care Bio — Jennifer Q., Dinuba, CA Hi there! I'm Jennifer, a lifelong animal lover based right here in Dinuba. If your pet is part of the family, they’ll be treated like part of mine too. Services I offer: I provide dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight boarding in my home — for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. A typical visit includes fresh food/water, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of cuddles, plus daily photo/video updates so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. For walks, I love doing sniffari strolls around local parks and quiet neighborhood routes, always on-leash and at your pup’s pace. For stay-ins, I keep your pet’s exact routine — feeding times, crate training, medications, special diets — so things feel normal while you’re away. I’m comfortable with senior pets, shy rescues, high-energy puppies, multi-pet households, and basic oral medication administration. My home is pet-safe, smoke-free, with a clean, unfenced yard area and plenty of cozy nap spots. I only take 1-2 boarding clients at a time so every pet gets real one-on-one attention, and I never leave boarding pets alone for long stretches. My experience: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10+ years. I grew up with family dogs and cats, and for the last several years friends, neighbors, and coworkers in the Central Valley have trusted me with their pets while traveling. I’ve handled everything from energetic puppies who need structured play, to senior dogs who need slow walks and joint-care routines, to independent cats who just want a clean litter box and a trusted lap. I’m calm, patient, detail-oriented, and I’m big on positive reinforcement — no yelling, no harsh corrections, ever. Availability & time with your pets: I work a flexible, mostly work-from-home schedule, so I’m home for the majority of the day. Boarding dogs are rarely alone for more than 2-3 hours at a time, and I can do mid-day walks/drop-ins during the week and on weekends. I’m available for holidays and last-minute bookings with notice, and I’m happy to do meet-and-greets in Dinuba/Visalia area before any booking so you and your pet feel comfortable. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness come first with me. I’ll send you plenty of updates, follow your instructions to the letter, and leave your home just as I found it. I’d love to meet your best friend! . Availability & time with your pets: I work a flexible, mostly work-from-home schedule, so I’m home for the majority of the day. I’m available for holidays and last-minute bookings with notice, and I’m happy to do meet-and-greets in Dinuba/Visalia area before any booking so you and your pet feel comfortable. Safety, Trust & Environment Your pet’s safety is always my first priority, whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in your home. In my home — for boarding & daycare: I have a clean, quiet, smoke-free home in Dinuba with a secure, fenced potty area. I only accept 1-2 boarding pets at a time, and never board large and small dogs together unless they’re from the same family. Pets are never left alone for more than 2-3 hours, and never left unsupervised in the yard. Food, treats, and toys are always kept separate, and I follow your feeding and crate/sleep routine exactly to reduce stress. I do a full pet-proofing sweep before every stay — no exposed cords, toxic plants, or small objects within reach. I also send daily photo/video updates, so you always know how they’re doing. In your home — for house sitting & drop-ins: I treat your home and your routine with total respect. I follow your written instructions to the letter for feeding, medications, walks, and house rules. I keep doors/gates double-checked, leashes secured before opening any exterior door, and I never bring other people or pets into your home. You’ll get time-stamped updates with photos at every visit, and I’ll leave your home exactly as I found it — clean, locked, and with a happy, tired pet. For all services: I always do a free meet-and-greet first so we’re all comfortable, I’m happy to provide ID verification, and I have a local emergency vet mapped out with your vet’s info on file before any booking starts. I use positive reinforcement only — no harsh corrections, ever. Trust is everything in pet care, and I take that seriously.

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of care, attention, and adaptability I bring to every pet I look after. I treat each animal like they’re my own, which means taking the time to understand their personality, routine, and specific needs so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I currently work fulltime but weekends I am fully available! I love animals and always have since I was little. Growing up we’ve always have had dogs and cats. About: I LOVE animals of all types, I've had animals all my life. I don't consider them animals really they are part of my family. I have taken care of friends pets while they are on vacation and they have been bathed and groomed them. So they are fresh upon the owners return. I have no small children in my home and I live in the country with a large fenced safe yard. My animals are fixed and utd on all vaccines. Pets I have experience caring for: Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, some exotics. We do currently have some livestock but no animals that I would care for would be around them. They have their own place separate from my clients . Love what I do ! I work from home so I am here all the time, If I need to leave my husband supervises in my absence. really enjoy animals I have large, separate fenced areas in the country for the dogs to exercise and socialize when appropriate. if, your dog does not socialize well with other dogs they would have their play time alone with no problem. Your pet's safety and well being is of the utmost importance!

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Parlier

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 899 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Parlier. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Parlier stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Parlier. On Rover:

  • 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
