“Madelaine is so good with my dogs!! They hate walking in the cold and one of them is very shy but she is super patient with them. Even my shy girl is warming up to her!”

“Erin was amazing through and through.”

About: I have worked with dogs since elementary school, when I started a dog walking business in my neighborhood to pay for summer camp. Friends, family members, and neighbors, have relied on me to do tasks as simple as stop in and feed their pets, to staying with their furry friends for extended periods of time. I have also grown up with Great Danes so I know how to handle extra large dogs! I am a college student who is off for summer break, so my schedule is completely open to care for your pets, whether thats a walk a few times a week or staying over at the house for a period of time. I don't offer boarding services since I rent the space I am living in and it does not allow pets. However, when it comes to services provided in the home of the pet, I will follow any directions that are given to me to my greatest ability!

“Stephanie was wonderful at accommodating a last minute request for a walk. I could tell that my dog was so much happier and relaxed once back at the house. Also appreciated her suggestions for my anxious pup as well! Thank you!!!”

“We love having Aidan come visit our pup! He loves his time with her. Aidan is great at keeping me updated on her schedule and what they do during their daily play time/walks.”

About: Trained by experienced handlers, worked in several shelters with reactive or traumatized dogs, fostered many dogs to adoption, understand best current practices, nothing but patience for animals. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to set my own hours and never need to work more than two to three hours out of the house at a time. I do my utmost to ensure routines are strictly followed to reduce the stress on the animal as much as possible. Each pet is different in regards to hands on interaction but I do my best to give them a calming and fulfilling experience during what can be a stressful time.

About: I have taken care of my family’s pets as well as friends and neighbors pets for most of my life because of how much I love animals. I worked in a pet grooming salon for a few years and besides leaning the skills of grooming pets, I also learned to treat their owners with the same amount of care. I am a college student heading into my summer vacation, and would love to spend more time with some furry friends. I am available any day and time of the week. I love dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages. I always have doggy treats on me in case I meet a friendly pup and I love playing with toys or just cuddling if that is what they enjoy. I have two dogs at home, both are small, one enjoys cuddling and never plays with toys, and the other loves cuddling, but would much rather chase toys that I throw for him.

About: I've taken care of all kinds of pets throughout my life. I currently have two small dogs and a cat. I will treat your pets like one of my own! I am semi-retired and can accommodate many schedules and routines. Same day requests can often be accommodated. I don't work on major holidays and weekends. I have a fenced yard and one small dog and two cats - they all get along well with other dogs. I will board dogs in my home for the right situation, otherwise I would love to ensure your pets are well cared for in your home. Walks, playtime, feeding, snuggles, medication administration are all available for your furry family members.

About: With dogs, I helped get them that exercise that they need while having fun! I’m here to help any big or small animals be happy!! I’m currently working at part-time during the summer so most of my mornings are off if your dog or cat needs a simple walk in the morning or a simple run. I have no pets on my own, but I always enjoy taking dogs on long walks or runs in the field all around my apartment

“Tanya is quite literally the BEST. Our pup immediately loved her and she has been a godsend during the transition of going back to work. She is a great communicator and very trustworthy. Couldn’t give a higher recommendation!!”

About: I have worked with many different breeds such as pit bulls, boxers, mastiffs, golden retrievers and many more. Each had their own unique needs and personalities. I am willing to work with any breed even with special needs. I have experience with many different animals not just dogs and cats. I have worked with horses, bearded dragons, a few birds and a few more. If your animals needs care i will do it. I have a dog of my own and a bearded dragon so pet care is in my everyday life and so your pet is not much different. I can not board animals in my home cause i have a high anxiety senior dog so bringing any animal in to my home will not work but i will definitely stay at yours cause its a comfort thing for them. Its there own home. It not fair to kick them out of their own home. I have worked with animals for 3 years and been around them my whole life and i never had a problem and i am good at communicating with owners and i will ask questions if needed amd they can ask if needed also.

About: We've had pets for 37 years. For the past 11 years, I've been a pet sitter for family and friends. For the past 4 years I've done pet sitting through Trusted Housesitters and still do. I love walking dogs and spending time with dogs and cats. I was a public school teacher for 28 years and retired 6 years ago. I have 5 grandchildren. I'm a nonsmoker, energetic, kind, caring, and structured. I have a profile on Trusted Housesitters with numerous top notch reviews. I'll care for your home like it's my own as well. I'm retired, but do travel frequently. Often my travel involves pet sitting. I have family in Colorado and frequently visit fly there. I love animals! My care will be in your home. I'll follow your rules and routines. I'm very tidy and clean. Your pet and home will be well cared for. Your pet will receive love and attention.

About: I've been working with animals in vet clinics and shelters all over the country for most of my life. I'm very dedicated to my work with animals and take pride in the quality care and attention I give my clients. Add-on services: • Basic Bath - $35 (shampoo/toenail trim/ear cleaning for dogs, brush coat/toenail trim/ear cleaning for cats) • Reiki with Intuitive Reading session - $75 (1 hour), you'll receive video clips and pictures of your pet relaxing and being pampered. I'm Master Level trained and animals absolutely LOVE these treatments! • A stop at Starbucks for a yummy PupCup or a fun stroll around Petco to pick out a special treat - $15 My animal clients are treated with care and compassion and are my number 1 priority. I limit the number of animals that I accept so that clients always get my undivided attention and we aren't ever rushing through the appointments. I send lots of pics and updates with each visit/service so the pet parent is always involved, even while on vacation and away from their animal family members.

About: I love working with dogs and taking them out on walks. I love training dogs (walking on leash, no pulling/sit/stay, no darting when door opens). I'm pretty flexible. My current work schedule allows me to be off by 3pm-4pm on most week days and I'm free every weekend. Just let me know if you have any questions. I have a fully fenced back yard and a friendly Silver Lab. I have extra crates, dog cots/elevated dog beds, treats and food if needed. Side note, I also have a Flemish Giant rabbit (Pistachio), he loves dogs but has his own room for his private space.

About: I have surrounded myself with a variety of animals for as long as I can remember. My childhood was spent walking dogs, cat/dog sitting, and rescuing strays. Now being grown, I am in school at Oregon State to become a veterinarian while also working at a local clinic as a technician. I continue to learn new things each day that allow me to better care for my own pets as well as clients’. My personal zoo consists of an adult chocolate labrador, 3 cats all who required many bottle feedings and extensive veterinary care in their early days, and 3 senior guinea pigs. I work 4 days a week as a veterinary technician for VCA animal hospitals. This has provided me with in depth knowledge on many types of pets as well as warning signs of common illnesses. I currently live in a home with a fenced yard but due to the amount of animals there, I have chosen to forgo in house sitting. That being said I love to travel to clients home which is often more comfortable for the animal.

“We were in a bind last minute when our other sitter cancelled and were scrambling to find someone to walk our sweet Bernese mountain dog puppy. Elizabeth really helped us out when no one else could. We really appreciate her!”

“Lydia deserves more than five stars. She’s so confident, calm, and cool with my pup. He was immediately ready to go with her and came back just as happy. She’s also very personable and easy to talk to you and open to whatever tips you have about your pet. I will definitely be calling her more often.”

“Kaitlin was fantastic. Great communication, prompt on walks, and very friendly. Highly recommend!”

About: I have been responsible for, owned, or been caretaker of animals of all sizes (cats to buffalo) for 50+ years here and in Texas. I love animals of all kinds (except reptiles) and am comfortable and confident in their care. I am semi-retired and have a very flexible schedule. The job I have now only requires that I have internet access, so I am able to work from just about anywhere. I spend the summer months in the Pacific Northwest and the rest of the year traveling from Southern California to Key West and up through the Carolinas. I am happy to follow client's instructions and respect your pet's routines and expectation. I know that love is just as important as fresh water and a regular feeding schedule. I'll take the time to make sure chins are scratched, tummies are rubbed, balls are thrown, and time spent just loving on them is prioritized.

About: I have always pet sat for people, It’s something fun to do, I love going out and doing stuff with the dogs like going on trials or the beach I’m a full-time student so I’m able to take care of them in the morning as well as between classes and afternoon most classes I get out by 4 and have the afternoon. Mckenzy B.
“I have used McKenzy on many occasions to help with my dog, bently. He is older and adores her. She is kind and knows how to approach each dog. She says each dog deserves a chance and are different in their needs. She walks him, bathes him and overnights with him. She has an amazing way with all animals not just dogs. I couldn't ask for a better person to spend time with my dog.”

Trudy H.
“Trudy has been there for me (and my Lexi and Levi) for years. They get so excited when she walks in the door. She is experienced and loving. Her responsiveness and communication skills allow me to enjoy my vacations stress-free. I usually plan my getaways to coincide with her availability. I would not be comfortable with anyone else.”

Georgia M.
“I was first acquainted with Georgia when she was working on the rescue of an abandoned llama, and she would post videos of her remarkable progress. Georgia is very bonded with animals and has a positive and gentle spirit that makes animals feel comfortable. She has a wealth of experience in many capacities of animal care, which gives her an abundance of confidence and compassion. Georgia is a very kind, attentive, and most of all, knows how to keep animals safe and secure. I completely trust her with the care of my pets.”

Carlos D.Star Sitter
“Carlos saved our marriage! 😅 My husband wanted a puppy, but he was so overwhelmed with the training of the puppy we got, it was stressing us both out. Carlos took several different opportunities to help us learn how to train the puppy to "come" and stay on her "place" (where she sits on her cot). He helped us find a good collar for walking her, training her to not run ahead or strain at the leash. It sounds dramatic, but my husband had begun to lose hope we would ever have a well-behaved puppy. But Carlos gave us hope! Also, he took her for a weekend and worked on social training (getting along with other dogs), obeying during distractions, and even got her to "sit" on her place during an entire public church service! Remarkable. We highly, highly recommend him as a dog-sitter, dog-trainer or coach. He is calm, in charge, and intuitive and he is certainly worth hiring!”
