“I had a mandatory business trip and my pet sitter fell through fairly last minute. My 6 year old cat, Ollie, has separation anxiety (I rescued him from abuse when he was 6 months old) and he is not used to being alone for long periods of time because I work out of the house and am home most of the time. While he's friendly, he's not super snuggly or interactive with strangers; he just needs someone to be 'present'. We had a meet-and-greet prior to booking the stay- She asked all of the pertinent questions about his personality and daily routine (Charlie, my 21 year old cockatiel, is easy- LOL). I was rest-assured things would work out so I booked the stay. Deanne was wonderful with both Ollie and Charlie. She sent me updates throughout the day and plenty of photos letting me know they both were doing well (although I could tell in a couple of the photos Ollie was a little sad... But that is completely normal- As long as he was eating and following his regular routine I knew he'd 'survive'). This also helped me not stress out or worry about my pets and be able to focus on my trip / business dealings and that's honestly also a big part of traveling for me. I arrived home, and while I know both Ollie and Charlie missed me, everything went right back to normal and that's what told me Deanne cared for them very well. She also was very respectful of my home and kept it clean during her stay. I'm very glad I found her and will be using her services again. I highly recommend Deanne to care for your pets!”

“We were so thankful to find Michelle on Rover. She was courteous, warm and professional in her communications and gave us a lot of ease about leaving our pup and our home in her care. She was great about giving updates and sending photos while we were away. We returned to a well-kept home and a happy pup! We highly recommend Michelle!”

“As always Emily and her family took Penny in as one of their family members. This booking was also short notice and she still made it work for us. We are lucky to have her and her family!”

“We booked Jason for house sitting with our dog who has separation anxiety and does not do well in a boarding environment. Jason is great with our dog! Jason came into our house and our dog immediately migrated to him. Jason provided ample walks and gave our dog personalized attention. His wife Emily is also a dog sitter on this site and she has watched our dog too! She is also amazing! We will only be using their services for our dog! We love the husband and wife team!”

“I highly recommend Josh to stay with your pet! He stayed with my dog Diesel over this past weekend at my house. When I returned home Diesel was very happy and my home was in perfect shape. While I was away Josh sent several pictures of them taking walks together and playing together. They had lots of fun and Josh really focused on Diesel. I will definitely book him again when I need to be out of town.”

“Madolyn did an amazing job with our fur babies! You can see how much she loves animals with the way she interacts and cares for them. I hired Madolyn to house sit and watch our dogs. She gave regular updates on the girls, and took such good care of our home. This turned out to be a fantastic outcome, and I recommend Madolyn to anyone looking for a caring, respectful, and trustworthy sitter. We will definitely have Madolyn back!!!!”

“Jack did a great job with my two dogs. He quickly scheduled a meet and greet to discuss our house and what our dogs would need. One of my dogs is old, a little anxious and does not allow many people to pet him. Jack was very patient with him and by the end of the weekend, Rudi felt comfortable enough to let Jack pet him. Jack was also very responsive and sent several pictures of the dogs over the weekend. Everything in the house was also in good order when we returned from our weekend. I would highly recommend Jack for house and dog sitting.”

About: I have had and taken care of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and so many other exotic animals since I was very young. I also have experience working with a wide variety of pets at vet clinics as well as a pet resort both of which I walked, fed, administered medication, and watched several dogs in a daycare setting. I also worked with a wide range of exotic animals as my career after graduating college! During the school year I am a substitute teacher typically working M-F until about 4pm. This summer I will be working at Apple Holler as a tour guide with a slightly inconsistent schedule but the days I do work I will usually be finished around 3pm. That being said I am available to do drop ins and walks later in the afternoon after work. I have most weekends available as well. When caring for your pets I will always be cognizant of the surroundings. I respect the owners choices of the best way to manage their dog so I will use leashes, crates, etc. whenever it is needed or recommended.

About: Hi my name is Rianna and I have a very huge heart for dogs and cats alike. I grew up around a pit-bull who was my best friend for 10 years and I recently lost her to cancer, I provided care for her until the end of her life. I recently started pet sitting for friends and family. Doing so has given me the ability to gain experience with other dog breeds. I have always had a huge heart for all pets and thought what better way to spend my time then with them all day! I’m always in the mood to learn something new and every chance and opportunity awaits for something great. i’m currently working part time so i’m very flexible with time and providing care during those hours. I’m usually able to work around my schedule for exceptional care for your pets! :) I can provide any care you need as long as you provide a thoroughly list of details and time for if and when your pet needs care and what exactly you expect.

“Kelly was wonderful!!! She took great care of our little cat Claire, who is an antisocial beast of 17 years. Kelly contacted us daily with pictures of our little girl, which eased my concern of leaving her. She was also able to connect with the beast, who has never bonded with other sitters, OK she hid from them or hissed and tried to attack them, trapping one sitter an a small hall way. Claire not only talked to Kelly she came out of hiding, which impressed both me and my husband. Thank you Kelly for all you did for Claire.”

About: I began doing pet sitting in 2016 for family & friends, and that was most of my sitting experience until I began my dog training certification. Now I’ve been in pet care professionally for two years, and have had my dog trainer certification for half of that. My weeks are based around pet care. I do it full-time and have a customizable schedule based around my various clients & appointments. I have special hours available at request. I make sure to get an exact outline of what is expected/allowed for the pet, and am not shy about requesting elaboration if there’s any confusion on my part. Additionally, I like to do what I can to keep them mentally stimulated with games, activities, and some light obedience training/reinforcement so they can hopefully carry that good behavior over to their daily life.

About: With over 7 years of hands-on dog sitting experience, I’ve cared for pups/kitties of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. I’ve handled everything from daily walks and medication administration (pills only) to overnight stays and longer holiday care. I prioritize creating a safe, loving environment that keeps their regular routine. Whether it’s fetch in the park or quiet cuddle time, I tailor care to each dog’s unique needs and personality. My schedule is open and flexible, which means I’m available for extended bookings, weekend getaways, *most* holidays, and all the in between’s. I’m here when you need me, morning, afternoon, or evening—no rigid time blocks, just dependable availability. Whether you’re heading out of town or working long hours, I’m ready to jump in with consistent, loving care. Pet parents can count on me to adapt to their routines and provide reliable service every day of the week. Safety and trust are the foundation of everything I do. I never leave dogs unsupervised in unsafe areas, and I only use the approved pups gear. I stay in close contact with pet parents, offering regular updates, pictures, and messages (if asked for) for peace of mind. With seven years of trusted pet care under my belt and a strong sense of responsibility, I treat your dog as if they were my own. Your pet’s wellbeing is always my top priority.

“Rylie stayed at my house with Apollo and Athena and she was great. She sent pics and kept me updated on my fur babies. She took care of my house and left like it was when she got here. Highly recommend her.”

“Ariana was AWESOME! She literally saved our weekend vacation after our original scheduled house/dog sitter no-showed on the morning we were supposed to leave. Ariana was able to come over a few hours after confirming, she asked appropriate questions and was attentive. I felt awful because we have two geriatric dogs. It turned out not to be as smooth of a weekend for Ariana, as we thought it would be. What has always presented to us as food eccentricities and separation anxiety in our 15 yr old Shih Tzu, may be end- of- life symptoms, as he refused to eat, drink, and had explosive diarrhea in the middle of the night and was spitting up on the last night we were away. Ariana handled everything in the most professional and respectful manner she could. She called me at 3:30 am (which I appreciate more than anything) and advised me Mushu had explosive diarrhea, he was spitting up, and wasn't eating, and asked what I wanted her to do. I appreciated this so much because I know my dog better than anyone, and have dealt with him "being Mushu" for 15 years, and I knew we would be leaving the following morning to come home. We got home yesterday. I called his vet and we made a plan to monitor him overnight to see if he returned to previous perkiness and started drinking/eating. Again, Ariana was very professional and used great instincts to overcome a difficult weekend.”

“Tabitha was amazing with my old man Duke. She was able to handle his crazy mamas instructions, sent pics, videos and updates- and the house was just as good as when I left!! Not to mention the peace of mind with her being a vet tech- it really allowed me to relax and not worry while I was away! Thank you Tabitha!”

About: I've always had an animal in the house from fish to rabbits to dogs and more. Whenever a family member needs a pet sitter, I'm their first call and I'd love to be yours as well! I'm available between 10 am-2 pm Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, between 6:30 pm-9 pm Mon.-Fri. and between 8 am-10 pm, Saturday & Sunday. “Diamond is great! She came and was on time. I needed her from 1 to 5 on a Saturday. She sends me pictures of the dogs. She is super responsive and responsible. She needed to let them out and feed them. She plays with them and they seem to respond well to her. I will ask for Diamond again!”

“I worked with Kalyope at a doggy daycare/boarding facility and I can say she truly gives it her all. She is punctual, reliable, caring, and very thorough with her everything she does. You can trust her with any and all of your pet's needs!”

Rianna M.
“I've known Rianna for years now. She has been responsible for both my children (human and K9 alike) multiple times. She recently took on the task of house and dog sitting while we were gone and she excelled in this roll as well. She takes our boy for daily walks, sometimes more than once, she's affectionate, kind, and responsible. Rianna is smart, reliable and awesome with animals. Our Crashy is a picky boy when it comes to humans and Rianna gets his best wiggle butts and dances when she shows up to care for him! I would, and do hire Rianna over and over again!”
