“Best dog sitter ever!!!!! I’ve are so thankful to have found Meagan through Rover. She is prompt, goes above and beyond, has a great personality, and most of all our dogs love her. Recommend her ten times over.”

About: I have been a dog walker since I was about 8 years old, starting out In my neighborhood! I then started doing some overnight stays with neighbors pets. I love all kinds of animals, and I have had many growing up! I now have a 10 year old cat named Kit and she is the sweetest. I’m currently employed full time at Paris Title Company but have many long weekends and short days! I mainly plan on scheduling during the weekend. My cat is registered as an ESA and she also has very bad trauma from her past. Me and her spend a ton of time together and we are attached everywhere around the house. I would love to provide the same love that I have given to my animal to yours.
About: I have multiple years of experience pet sitting and boarding dogs and other animals. I also volunteer with an animal rescue, and my home is connected to our farm, giving me extensive hands-on experience with animals of all kinds. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, maintain consistent feeding and potty schedules, and respond to their individual needs as they arise. Your pet will have regular companionship, supervision, and care rather than being left alone for long periods. I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s individual needs and routine. In my home, pets have plenty of space to relax and play, including a large house and a fenced yard for safe outdoor time. I carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by owners. About: I have 10 plus years experience, I have also ran a dog rescue. I have worked with all kinds of animals from dogs to chickens Pet sitting is my main focus. I’m here to help love and care for your fur babies while you enjoy yourself or are out making money to spoil them. I try to stick to a routine that you already have in place and make the animals feel as at home without you as possible.
“Alia is amazing. One of my dogs is slow to warm up to strangers and she took the time to get to know him. I think they are best friends now. She spent more time than needed with them each visit and communicated with me during each visit. I will definitely be using her again when traveling.”

About: I have two fur babies myself and have been caring for them for about four years coming on five. I’ve trained them since 8 weeks old to my oldest dog who is four now and spoiled as ever. Even before my two dogs I’ve always been around animals since the age of six and have always been very curious about dogs and have loved them ever since. Pet care is a huge essential part in a pets life. Although I am a college student my classes are not all in person I have much time on my hands (more than I know what to do with). Although I love my own pets I would like to provide my services to others. I have two fur babies myself I understand the amount of stress it can bring when leaving your pet with a stranger. When visiting your pet while you are away I will make sure the visits are not just short interaction with your baby but provide play and know that they are loved while you are away, or even if you need to have them walked I'm more than glad to do what is required.
About: I care for pets like they’re family whether it’s playful puppies, gentle seniors, or anyone in between. From training to meds to extra cuddles, I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved Because I work from home, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. My two kids love animals too, so there’s always extra love and playtime to go around. Walks, feedings, and cuddle breaks easily fit into our daily routine, making sure your pet feels like part of the family while they’re with us. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In my home, I create a calm, pet-friendly environment where they can relax, play, and feel secure. We had a wonderful experience with our dog sitter! She was reliable, took our dog out exactly when requested, and kept us updated throughout the visit. We especially appreciated the photos she sent, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our dog and made sure he was comfortable and well cared for. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
