About: Hi there! I’m a Certified Veterinary Assistant and kennel assistant with 2 years of vet clinic experience. I handle doggy daycare daily and love every minute of it! I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes and have a strong background in animal care from my 5 years in FFA, where I raised and showed goats. I’m passionate, reliable, and treat every pet like my own their safety and happiness always come first Pet care is part of my everyday life it’s truly what I love most. I work at a veterinary clinic and am currently studying animal science, so caring for animals is something I’m passionate about both personally and professionally. On top of that, I have my own pets at home who keep me busy and happy! I’ll make sure your furry friend feels comfortable, safe, and loved as if they were my own provide a safe, loving, and supervised environment for every pet in my care. I have a fenced yard and two friendly pets of my own a dog and a cat who enjoy making new friends. I always ensure pets are comfortable, secure, and cared for like family. I can easily follow any specific routines or instructions to help them feel right at home
“Best dog sitter ever!!!!! I’ve are so thankful to have found Meagan through Rover. She is prompt, goes above and beyond, has a great personality, and most of all our dogs love her. Recommend her ten times over.”

About: I have been a dog walker since I was about 8 years old, starting out In my neighborhood! I then started doing some overnight stays with neighbors pets. I love all kinds of animals, and I have had many growing up! I now have a 10 year old cat named Kit and she is the sweetest. I’m currently employed full time at Paris Title Company but have many long weekends and short days! I mainly plan on scheduling during the weekend. My cat is registered as an ESA and she also has very bad trauma from her past. Me and her spend a ton of time together and we are attached everywhere around the house. I would love to provide the same love that I have given to my animal to yours.
About: I have multiple years of experience pet sitting and boarding dogs and other animals. I also volunteer with an animal rescue, and my home is connected to our farm, giving me extensive hands-on experience with animals of all kinds. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to seniors. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they’re with me. Feel free to reach out with any questions—I’d love to care for your pet! I work full-time from home, which allows me to easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. Because my schedule is flexible, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day, maintain consistent feeding and potty schedules, and respond to their individual needs as they arise. Your pet will have regular companionship, supervision, and care rather than being left alone for long periods. I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s individual needs and routine. In my home, pets have plenty of space to relax and play, including a large house and a fenced yard for safe outdoor time. I carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by owners. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain their normal routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I always listen closely to pet parents’ preferences and do my best to accommodate any specific care requests.
About: I have two fur babies myself and have been caring for them for about four years coming on five. I’ve trained them since 8 weeks old to my oldest dog who is four now and spoiled as ever. Even before my two dogs I’ve always been around animals since the age of six and have always been very curious about dogs and have loved them ever since. Pet care is a huge essential part in a pets life. Although I am a college student my classes are not all in person I have much time on my hands (more than I know what to do with). Although I love my own pets I would like to provide my services to others. I have two fur babies myself I understand the amount of stress it can bring when leaving your pet with a stranger. When visiting your pet while you are away I will make sure the visits are not just short interaction with your baby but provide play and know that they are loved while you are away, or even if you need to have them walked I'm more than glad to do what is required.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
