“Wonderful Dog-sitter! Has watched our dogs multiple times and even has been willing to help out with last minute requests. She is communicates consistently while watching the dogs and lets us know if they have any issues quickly. Emily is our go-to choice for a dog sitter in the Big-Rapids area!”

“Taylor was wonderful! She kept me updated everyday and sent lots of pictures! She gave me peace of mind while we were gone. I will definitely ask her to take care of my 3 cats when we go out of town again :)”

About: Hi! I’m a longtime pet sitter with 10+ years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, ages, and sizes. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters and genuinely love getting to know animals of all personalities—from energetic pups to shy cats and senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I especially enjoy in-home pet and house sitting because I believe pets are most comfortable in their own environment where they can stick to their routine and feel safe and relaxed. My goal is always to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pets. I’ll treat your pets like family, give them lots of love and attention, and keep you updated with photos and check-ins so you always know they’re happy and cared for. I currently work full-time during the week but make pet care a priority in my routine. I’m available for mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight stays depending on your pet’s needs. I’m happy to work around feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and routines to make sure your pets are happy and well cared for while you’re away. With over 10 years of pet sitting experience and volunteer experience at animal shelters, I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, sizes, and personalities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, temperament, and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ll always treat your pets like my own and respect your home while keeping you updated for peace of mind.
About: New to Rover, but not to pet care! I have a deep-rooted love for animals, sparked by my childhood on my families farm. Growing up surrounded by many animals, including dogs, taught me the importance of nurturing and understanding each pet’s unique personality. I enjoy discovering the funny quirks and individual traits that make each dog special. With hands-on experience caring for many dogs through various stages of life and health issues, I’ve developed skills in managing their unique needs and behaviors. I know that every pet requires a tailored approach, and my background equips me to provide the highest level of care. I’m also familiar with basic pet first aid and emergency procedures, allowing me to act quickly and effectively if necessary. My greatest strength is my patience and understanding, which help me build trust with each animal- ensuring they always feel safe and comfortable when in my care. Additionally, I know being away from your fur babies can be stressful and I’m very good at communicating by providing updates through pictures, videos, or text messages if that’s something you’d like! Typically, I work part time on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, which gives me plenty of time throughout the week to spend quality time with your pups! Whether it’s a fun and energizing walk, a cozy check in, or some extra playtime and cuddles, I’ll make sure your pets feel happy, comfortable, and truly cared for while you’re away. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making their time with me enjoyable, safe, and full of attention, because they deserve nothing less! When at your home, I care for your pet based on the information and preferences you share with me. I’m very respectful of your space and make sure to leave your pup happier than I found them! At my home, I have two friendly, lazy cats who can keep your dog company. I again follow the information and preferences you provided to keep your pet comfortable. My apartment has a green yard in the back, which is perfect for potty breaks and a bit of outdoor time. While it’s unfenced, I’ll keep your dog leashed at all times and keep a close eye on all outdoor activities. As long as they are trained, I’ll take your pup on daily neighborhood walks or even to the park if they’re a more active breed. Here, pets are treated like family, with full access to snuggles on the furniture if that’s something they’d enjoy. I also keep pet parents updated with photos, videos, or messages, so you’ll always know how they’re doing!

“Shawna was so kind and attentive to my girl Athena! She even watered some plants she noticed were dry!! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for pet care :) This was my first time using rover so I was nervous but it truly couldn't have worked out better!!”

“Brittany was very professional, did a meet and greet before hand, sent me updates and photos once in the home, and treated my animals with love and respect. Would absolutely book again.”

About: I am experienced pet sitter who has cared for dogs and cats for over 10 years. I have taken care of puppies, senior dogs, alongside both high energy and low energy pets. I am able to administer both oral and topical medications. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet while you're away and always ensure to take photos/videos for updates and give them all the attention they wish for. I have many years experience as a dog walker for drop in visits and with house sitting at client's homes while you're away at work. I have plenty of time to play with and care for your pets with during the week and weekends. I am a freelancer with flexible scheduling. Within a client's home, I am happy to accommodate any preferred set up for maximum comfort for your pet. I am experienced with dog walking, providing oral or topical medication to pets, as well as in multi-pet households.
“Taylor was great! She took good care of my cat Skippy. Received cute pictures daily. She even brought in packages that had been delivered to my house while I was gone. I definitely recommend and will be a repeat customer.”

“Kumar was absolutely wonderful with my two cats! I was especially nervous about leaving because one of them, Relic, is a formerly feral girl who’s very shy with new people. (Beezle, my other cat, is a social butterfly—toss him a treat and he’s instantly your best friend.) But Kumar handled Relic’s quirks with so much patience and care. He came by twice a day, sent me photos and videos every visit, and never hesitated to check in if he had questions. His communication was fantastic, and he totally put my mind at ease. If I need a sitter again, I’ll be crossing my fingers that Kumar’s available—he did an amazing job, and I’m so grateful!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was about 8 years old. I have experience taking care of and training my own dogs, many hours of volunteer work at a local animal shelter, and worked part-time as an assistant dog trainer at a board and train facility as well as currently employed part-time at a doggy daycare/boarding facility, where there are dogs of many different sizes, ages, breeds, temperaments, etc. I can confidently work with and walk a variety of different breeds and temperaments. I am currently a college student with a full time college schedule. However, I have a lot of time gaps that would make me well suitable to come check in and care for your pet. Living in a college dorm I cannot bring any pets to me, however I can follow any and all instructions on how to properly care for your precious fur baby.
About: I'm a credentialed Veterinary Technician who is capable of handling all dogs- big or small, as well as all temperaments. Special needs dogs are my forte (diabetics, seniors, etc) and hold a special place in my heart. I just finished my associates in veterinary technology. I'm currently working that field but I have a bit of space to be flexible. I'm also open to sitting other animals including exotics like birds, Chinchillas and Sugar Gliders, I've had them before! I have two dogs of my own, one Miniature Schnauzers, one Akita mix and two cats. I've been taking care of animals since I could walk! Now I have a career continuing it and I love it! Feel free to ask me anything! I don't currently do in home petsitting or day boarding unless you're a consistent client- certain arrangements can be made. This can be canines or felines. I am blessed to work from home so I’m able to house sit without restrictions as long as there’s working internet. I am able to be flexible and work with schedules as needed, whether short term or long term. I like to keep routines fairly similar as when pet parents are home with their pets, so they don’t get too stressed. If that’s going on a 4 mile hike everyday or simply taking an hour to sit on the couch and give belly rubs, I’m their gal.

Tiffany was excellent! She was friendly, professional and great with communication. Tiffany even went above and beyond with house chores that weren't requested of her. Most importantly, she provided exceptional care to my cat! I would absolutely recommend Tiffany to anybody needing pet/house sitting, and hope to work with her again.

As of August 2026, there are 51 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Paris. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
