“Fielding was AMAZING! Our trip was planned and we needed help with our pups at the last minute. He messaged immediately and spoiled our boys rotten! They had a ball and he was in constant communication and sent us photos as well. We felt like our boys were safe and taken care of the entire time. Would highly recommend and we will definitely use his services again!”

About: I have always loved animals and I have always help take care of family, friends, neighbors, and my own pets. From watching, walking, feeding, and taking care of. I have done this since I was about 8 years old. I am available any day of the week For check-ins, pet sitting, walking, feeding, playing, and any other concerns you may have your pets. I have learned through my experience with my pets and others I have taken care of to watch and know what signs your pet may be showing. For me personally my pets do not have a dog door so I am more aware of what they may need and want.

However if I am walking your dog I will offer to bring them treats and water for their walks.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was born. I was responsible for bathing, feeding, walking, and taking care of all of their needs. I’ve taken care of puppies as young as two weeks old that had to be bottle fed every two hours and constant attention. My mother works at a vet so I know all the ins and out of pet safety. I love animals and I can’t wait to meet your fur baby. I a currently a senior at A-state. I have classes Tuesday Thursday from 9:00-5:30. I am available to take care of your fur babies any other time! I will always walk your dog on the inner side of the side walk so I will be closest to the road in order to protect your fur baby. I will make sure they stay hydrated and get in good exercise.
About: I work at a veterinary clinic as a kennel assistant, we deal with all types of dogs from puppies to seniors. So, with working at a veterinary clinic i have gained the knowledge of caring for a dog and what situations may arise and how to handle them. I currently work part-time at a veterinary clinic here in Jonesboro, Arkansas. However, i have every other weekend off and I have about 3-4 days off a week. When i have work, i have a 2 hour lunch break and i work until 6 pm every single day. So, i have time to drop by twice a day and even spend the night. I have a fenced yard and we typically let them run as we please. However, I have an older dog and she needs walked twice a day. So, I could walk them a few times a day if necessary or just let them out if needed as well.

About: I have volunteered in my hometown’s rescue since I could walk. I love animals and aspire to earn my doctorate degree to be a vet and help all kinds of animals. I am currently a student at ASU. I work on the weekends and have classes Tuesday and Thursday. Schedule is flexible on any other days. About: Hello! My name is Marsha, and I’m excited to introduce myself as a sitter on Rover. Although I currently don’t have any pets of my own due to my busy schedule, I have a deep love for animals and am eager to share that with your furry friends. I am committed to providing your home and pets with the utmost respect and safety. My goal is to offer your beloved pets not only care and affection but also a safe and nurturing environment. I look forward to using my time with your fur baby to both love and learn, ensuring they receive the best possible care while you're away. Hello! My name is Marsha, and I’m delighted to introduce myself as a new sitter on Rover. I’m currently a full-time Doctoral degree student in the NEA area, with work Monday through Friday and weekends dedicated to catching up on studies. Because the demands of my program make a traditional job challenging, I’m excited to use this platform to supplement my income while indulging my love for animals. Although I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due my beloved Dexter passing away after 17.5 years, my passion for animals drives me to offer the best care to your furry companions. I am committed to providing your home and pets with the highest level of respect, safety, and affection. I’m available for pet sitting most afternoons and evenings, and I can’t wait to spend quality time with your fur baby, ensuring they receive all the love and attention they deserve while you’re away. To provide exceptional care for pets in you' homes, I start by understanding your furbabies routines and needs through an initial consultation and written instructions. I will stick to their regular schedule for feeding and exercise, while ensuring their environment is safe and comfortable. Maintain cleanliness and respect the client’s property, and be vigilant about the pet’s health, noting any changes and administering medications if needed. I also like to communicate regularly with updates and be prepared for emergencies with contact details and a clear plan. My attention to these details will ensure both your fur baby and your home are well cared for while you’re on duty. I am okay with being recorded in home if you feel more comfortable have access to view your fur babies safety as long as private areas from the bathroom have no recording devices. I truly just want to give you the best experience that I can.
About: Hi my name is Alexis, I am a Doberman owner and breeder. I have worked with puppies to adult and senior pets. I’ve had many experiences watching family members pets and are excited to meet yours. I am currently also a stay at home mom allowing me to have flexibility and more availability times. I am also available for the holidays! I am open to anytime and any day. That includes weekends and holidays. I do also accept last minute appointments and additional appointments to pre-scheduled appointments. I understand sometimes on vacation or family visits that you might have to add a day to watching your pets and that sometimes life happens. My fur babies are treated like I treat my kids. They get toys and bones all the time. Regular walks and even sometimes pup ice creams. I will send pictures and videos during your pets visits. I also accept puppies and keep up with their regular training routines. I will do my best to make you feel as comfortable and worried free about your pets while away. I leave comments on each visit to let you know how they are doing. Feel free to ask additional questions as well.
“Five star dog walker. I needed a dog walker for 2 weeks on short notice. Ellen did a great job. Dependable & reliable. I am not expert on using the Rover app, & did not realize that I forgot to book the second week. Ellen noticed this and reached out to see if I needed her to walk my dog that day. She was a life saver for helping us with our dog on such short notice. Book her, especially if you live on the Island.”

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
