“We booked Mr. Fielding to watch our dogs as our last resort and I’m glad we did! We don’t trust our babies to anybody other than family and we where very skittish about the whole thing at first but Mr. Fielding kept us posted throughout the entire trip sending updates and pictures. The dogs loved him and will be definitely using again on our next trip.”

About: I'm not just a walker/sitter, I'm your fur baby's new best friend! I'm here to ensure that your pet gets plenty of exercise, socialization, and lots of love. I am here to create a fun and safe environment for all animals. I am self employed, so my schedule will be adjusted to fit your schedule. I typically do my other work later in the evening, but if you need later visits I can accommodate my schedule. I do not offer boarding at this time. However if I am walking your dog I will offer to bring them treats and water for their walks.
“The most reliable and professional people on this app by far. Go ahead and hit that book button you won’t regret it. Lowla has been at their house and they have checked on her at my house. Never any issues and always has great communication.”

I’ve done dog training in the past and will start school soon to become a certified dog trainer. I work full time but will be able to assist with your pet needs after three on most days. Every other Wednesday I won’t be available until after six pm. I am here to take care of your pets in the comfort of your pets home. I’m not taking any pets at my home at this time. This may change later.

About: I have volunteered in my hometown’s rescue since I could walk. I love animals and aspire to earn my doctorate degree to be a vet and help all kinds of animals. I am currently a student at ASU. About: Hello! My name is Marsha, and I’m excited to introduce myself as a sitter on Rover. Although I currently don’t have any pets of my own due to my busy schedule, I have a deep love for animals and am eager to share that with your furry friends. I am committed to providing your home and pets with the utmost respect and safety. My goal is to offer your beloved pets not only care and affection but also a safe and nurturing environment. I look forward to using my time with your fur baby to both love and learn, ensuring they receive the best possible care while you're away. Hello! My name is Marsha, and I’m delighted to introduce myself as a new sitter on Rover. I’m currently a full-time Doctoral degree student in the NEA area, with work Monday through Friday and weekends dedicated to catching up on studies. Because the demands of my program make a traditional job challenging, I’m excited to use this platform to supplement my income while indulging my love for animals. Although I don’t have any pets of my own at the moment due my beloved Dexter passing away after 17.5 years, my passion for animals drives me to offer the best care to your furry companions. I am committed to providing your home and pets with the highest level of respect, safety, and affection. I’m available for pet sitting most afternoons and evenings, and I can’t wait to spend quality time with your fur baby, ensuring they receive all the love and attention they deserve while you’re away. To provide exceptional care for pets in you' homes, I start by understanding your furbabies routines and needs through an initial consultation and written instructions. I will stick to their regular schedule for feeding and exercise, while ensuring their environment is safe and comfortable. Maintain cleanliness and respect the client’s property, and be vigilant about the pet’s health, noting any changes and administering medications if needed. I also like to communicate regularly with updates and be prepared for emergencies with contact details and a clear plan. My attention to these details will ensure both your fur baby and your home are well cared for while you’re on duty. I am okay with being recorded in home if you feel more comfortable have access to view your fur babies safety as long as private areas from the bathroom have no recording devices. I truly just want to give you the best experience that I can.
“Ms. Berkeley took great care of our dog. She came on time every day and did everything we had asked. I will definitely re-book next time we go out of town. Thank you so much Ms. Berkeley!”

“Alexis Goes above and beyond, shes an amazing Puppy sitter. she would ask important questions I'd forget to ask, or questions I didn't know to ask. she cared for my dogs as if they where her own, definitely someone I recommend. she sent plenty of photos, reported everything correctly, and was caring and respectful to my home and my dogs. She is someone who we will continue to use, and recommend. She was reliable and available on short notice during busy season.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
