About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. For over 20 years, I’ve trained many dogs small and large including bully breeds, giving me hands-on experience with everything from playful puppies to strong, high-energy adults and gentle senior dogs. What makes me different from other sitters is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s how my family and I live every day. On our family farm, we have dogs of our own, along with sheep, chickens, cats, turtles, horses, and pigs. Managing and loving this many animals has taught me how to handle all personalities, safely introduce new pets, and keep everyone happy and stress-free. I’m comfortable with training reinforcement, senior pet care, and even administering medications when needed. When your furry friend stays with us, they’re not just looked after—they’re welcomed into a safe, loving home where animals are treated like family. Animals aren’t just part of my routine—they are my routine. Living on a farm with dogs, sheep, chickens, cats, turtles, horses, and pigs means caring for animals is how we start and end every day. Feeding, walking, playing, and checking in on each one is second nature. Because animals are already a full-time part of our life, adding your pet into our routine is seamless. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday playtime, or evening cuddles, your furry friend will get plenty of attention and love throughout the day. Our home sits on a beautiful 2-acre property right in the center of town, surrounded by large pine and eucalyptus trees that keep the property shaded and cool almost year-round. We’ve designed our farm to be safe and comfortable for pets of all kinds. There are secure, fenced areas where dogs can run and play freely, as well as plenty of quiet, shaded spots for resting outdoors. Inside, we have cozy, pet-friendly spaces for naps, snuggles, or crate time if that’s what your dog prefers. Because we live and work from home, your pets will have near-constant companionship and care. Our own dogs are friendly and social, and we carefully manage introductions to make sure every guest feels safe, relaxed, and loved.

“Darlene has been amazing! My dog Rosie seems to really love her! Rosie was able to immediately feel at home and Darlene has been so caring and loving toward her. I hate leaving Rosie, but I felt really good about leaving her with Darlene, who is such a caring and dog-understanding person.”

“Angel is such a gifted pet sitter. She loves my miniature poodle like her own. She sends pictures, videos, and messages through my dog’s stay. She is also incredibly responsive any time I contact her. I know that my dog is well cared for when she is there. I would not have my dog stay anywhere else! Thank you Angel for all your love and care!”

About: I am a devoted animal lover and have spent my entire life living with and caring for pets. I have experience working at a veterinary clinic and a lot of experience caring for senior dogs. Taking care of animals nurtures me just as much as I nurture them. Friends and family have always trusted me to look after their pets whenever they are away. I provide regular photo and text updates to keep pet owners reassured. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pet to see if we’re a good fit! Rover is my full-time job and I have a lot of free time! My day is always planned around pet care including dog walks, grooming and training. I love caring for pets and I have all day to spend with yours! I tailor my care to meet the specific needs of each pet individually. My priority is to make your pet as comfortable as possible. I always take special care to consider their specific feeding schedules, any special dietary needs, exercise routines/preferences and behavioral tendencies. I am always professional and compassionate regardless of where I am caring for pets.

“Stephanie is great, she took great care of my dog Maya, took her to the park, had her play with doggy friends. She was even careful to not overwork my dog so she kept her on a leash for a little bit so as not to over stress her, that is a level of detail that impressive. Book Stephanie if you want your dog to be safe and happy, I definitely will again.”

“We sent our dog to Jennie’s for two weeks. She seemed to spend unforgettable moment with Jennie and other fury friends also were staying at Jennie’s. About: I work from home 100% of the time, and am around to make sure your pet gets all the love they deserve. Illness prevention: I wash hands before and after seeing pets and entering others homes. I’m more than happy to follow additional COVID measures if you request. Now to the fun stuff! Honestly, you’d be doing me a favor by letting me take care of your dogs and pets. I currently have a cat with three legs and I live for the unconditional love that pets provide. I give all that love right back, plus some! I have experienced both the responsibilities and the rewards of being a pet owner. I also keep aquariums, and have years of experience with fresh water tanks. I’m a plant enthusiast and own my own home. I have lots of room for play time! With a large, completely fenced back yard, and an open concept house, your pup will be right at home! LGBTQ+ friendly only please. I do have a full time job that is all virtual, so most of the time I can set up and work at your house for a longer drop in. Also great for boarding dogs at my house-I can give them as many potty breaks as needed. While this is a second job for me, at times we do reach capacity and have to turn down bookings, so I always am grateful for advanced notice if you need to cancel. Pets in my home are fed separately, and only given treats/ bones under supervision because I recognize that sometimes even the most amazing gently dogs can have some food aggression/resource guarding behaviors. While I do let dogs on furniture and in my bed, I am a fan of crate training and have no problem crating your dog if needed. We are typically a calm quiet household, with the occasional exception of a silly eight year old who gets a little too excited about dogs.

Palo Verde dog parents share their Rover experiences
My 7 month old puppy Sarah had a great time with Sylvie and her pack! She sent me videos of her stay which made me so happy to see her having fun and socializing with others dogs! So glad I found a great care taker. We will be using Sylvie in the future for sure. Thankyou😊

Such a lovely person. Our 9 year old dog was comfortable with her and her home. Cathy is kind and calm and knowledgeable about all animals. This was our very first time leaving Sadie with a non family member and by the time we left Cathy had made me feel so comfortable. Thank you for that.

Darlene has been amazing! My dog Rosie seems to really love her! Rosie was able to immediately feel at home and Darlene has been so caring and loving toward her. I hate leaving Rosie, but I felt really good about leaving her with Darlene, who is such a caring and dog-understanding person.

Sure! Here’s your review translated into a more casual English tone: ⸻ I left my 3-month-old puppy with Chris, and honestly, she had a great time. He kept sending me photos and updates, which really helped. I was super nervous because it was her first time staying with someone she didn’t know, but she looked so happy in every picture he sent. You can really tell dogs enjoy being around Chris.

My 2 dogs just had their second weekly daycare visit at Sara's. Sara is very communicative, and sends pictures. She has a lovely shady outdoor space for the dogs with green grass. She keeps it perfectly clean. She seems to understand my dogs well and is getting to know their needs. She tells me her observations. She takes them for walks and plays with them. They are very relaxed with her. I feel very fortunate to have found Sara.
