“Brayden did such a great job with my two dogs! They can be very high energy at times but they were so calm and good with him. He sent me pictures and updates throughout the entire overnight visit. I will definitely be booking with him again!”

“Theresa did a great job with our puppies. She was on time and on track with one of the puppy's daily meds and sent pictures of the puppies all snuggled in. We will definitely call her back to sit with our puppies in the future. Thanks.”
“Abigail did a wonderful job house sitting and watching our dog for us! Our dog has some separation anxiety and hasn’t done well in boarding facilities or staying at someone else’s home so we decided to try house sitting. We were a little nervous about it but Abigail put our minds at ease, sent us updates every day and took such good care of him! He was much more comfortable in his own environment and I didn’t have to stress about him while we were away. I would 100% book with her when going out of town in the future.”

“My girls liked Linda on our first meeting/meet and greet. That is a very good sign especially since one of my GSDs is my protector and does not warm up to strangers. Linda sent me several check in texts and pictures a day. I really appreciated her thoroughness and promptness to my replies and questions. I hope to be able to book again with Linda and I highly recommend.”

“Frankie was in great hands! We needed a last-minute sitter for a 3-day stay at our house, and she was wonderful. She kept us updated while we were away, which gave us a lot of peace of mind, and it was clear Frankie was well cared for and comfortable. We came home to a happy dog, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.”

“Bridget did a great job taking care of our two pups! She was thorough, swift with communication and helped our reactive pup with his triggers in the backyard. We will definitely work with her again!”

“Paloma was an outstanding dog sitter. She was extremely dependable and responsible, treated our home with respect, and truly fell in love with our two large dogs. Her communication was excellent, and it was clear she cared for our dogs as if they were her own. When we returned, our home was left neat and tidy. We would absolutely use Paloma’s services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.”

“Excellent job , thanks 🙏 is not enough for your dedication and commitment with our 🐶. We never worry about our babies anymore because of your professional work and skills that you give in every visit. 120% satisfied with your service, thanks 🙏 Rebecca Vanessa and Jaine”

“Abbie was absolutely wonderful! She has such a bright a bubbly personality, our dogs warmed up to her really fast which was surprising and made me feel really happy. Shes really great about sending photos and communicating throughout the time she was with them. I would absolutely recommend her.”

About: I’ve always had at least one animal since i was a child, I’ve worked as a kennel tech and I’ve been to vet school! I have a couple cats and a dog, they are my WORLD!! My dog had a bad life before I adopted him, and I completely trained him myself with very little help. He is a perfect, well behaved angel now! My schedule is pretty open! I am a stay at home wife and I’m in school, so I have plenty of time on my hands to care for your pets! I am thoroughly knowledgeable on all things dog safety related, my pooch has had a rough go at it so I’ve take courses on animal CPR, de-escalation training, and I am familiar with taking care of animals with health issues. Every pet is different and they all need varying levels of care and comfort requirements.
About: I am a lover of all living things. I prefer to scoop up bugs and spiders instead of smooshing them. I have great empathy towards dogs and cats. Us hoomans don’t deserve them. I’m ready to spoil yours! I do work in a busy doctors office Monday thru Friday 9-5, however I am available evenings, nights and weekends and excited to care for your furbabies. I lease a townhome in a townhome community. I do not have a fenced yard but have a yard and a great neighborhood to take them out for their potty breaks and a great walk.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 12. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and watch their pets! I currently am a student so I will have plenty of time to play with you pets!! I have plenty of time off from school to watch and care for your pets! I have over 11 years of experience caring and watching pets!! I would love to help out in your home but unfortunately can not offer care in my own home.
“Id highly recommend Anna ! I appreciate how she kept in good contact about my cat during my vacation; and she maintained my apartment perfectly while I was gone. She gives off nothing but a positive vibe 🙂”

“I’ve never had a sitter so communicative and well thought through - Brittni sent several photos each day of our pup, and worked with me through some logistics that I thought might be an obstacle. If you’re anxious about leaving your pup, you should absolutely book with Brittni. She and her fam were incredible”

About: I I have experience pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, caring for dogs and cats of different breeds and temperaments. My responsibilities have included daily walks, feeding, cleaning litter boxes, giving medications, and providing companionship. I understand how important routine and reassurance are when owners are away. I currently work from home. So my schedule is pretty flexible! Plenty of times to go on walks and playtime! With advanced notice I am very accommodating to meet your needs. I provide loving, reliable care whether pets stay in my home or I care for them in theirs. My top priorities are safety, trust, and maintaining a calm, comfortable environment. I always follow each pet’s routine closely — including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions — to help them feel secure and stress-free.

“We trust Jack and Kate to take wonderful care of our dogs and our house. We have used them twice now during vacations and they were awesome with communication, very respectful of our house and sent lots of photos of our dogs so we knew they were happy and in great hands. I highly recommend Jack and Kate.”

“Celeste watched my Dane over spring break and did a wonderful job yet again. She has been flexible and gives great details with him. She is flexible, quick to respond and good with my Dane. Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Pacific Junction walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Pacific Junction maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Pacific Junction choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pacific Junction. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
