About: I’ve been doing a pet sitting for over three years, and this is now my third summer providing pet sitting in Hawaii. During this time, I’ve looked after cats and dogs with different personalities, routines, and needs, always making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Animals have always been a part of my life. I grew up with both cats and dogs, so caring for them comes naturally to me. About: I’ve spent my life around animals, raising my own dogs and cats and helping care for many others through family, partners, and friends. My experience also includes a range of farm animals and a wild range of pet personalities from childhood. I pay close attention to the subtle behaviors and communications put forth by any animal, and I work with where they tell me theyre at directly. Whether it’s walkies, snack time or something inbetween, I make sure they feel safe, well cared for and understood. “We are always nervous leaving our two doggies with a new sitter, but Zakk's meet and greet went so well that we knew our pups would be in good hands. They took an instant liking to him and from the very first photos that Zakk sent, we knew that they would be well cared for while we were away. Hiring Zakk came with a couple of extra bonuses - one, he's an experienced dog trainer and not only did he walk our pups as requested, but in addition he provided individual care (extra walkies/runs) for them. In one week, he turned two barky puppies into well behaved, much less reactive critters. We are absolutely amazed at the difference one week with Zakk made for our fur babies. They are no longer barking their fool heads off at dinner time or when people/vehicles pass our windows. In addition to this amazing transformation, Zakk and his service dog provided socialization in our home which provided another learning experience for our dogs. Not only did they hang out together, they actually played with one another, which Zakk said was unusual and positive for all three dogs. In addition to the outstanding pet care, Zakk also did the laundry, watered the plants on the landing, and left the house in good shape. We highly recommend Zakk for dog sitting and hope he's available the next time we leave and need care for our pups.”

During the orientation and meet’s greet, she asked all the right questions. She wanted to know details of our dog’s typical routines and daily flow. She asked to see how Nelson’s harness worked and as well as how he likes to receive his eye drops. When we returned, the house was impeccably clean. She only asked a few clarifying questions while we were away but was sure to send daily pictures and videos of the dogs. Lastly, we truly appreciated the way she washed and cleaning all the bedding and towels, which was not expected. About: I absolutely love animals and especially dogs. I feel like there is no other genuine creature on earth like them. They have a big heart and love their human more than themselves. Taking care of a doggie it will be more a pleasure then a business. I love long walkes, play dates or just chilling. In the house I live in there are two big dogs ( not mine though). One of them is super friendly but the second one is not that good with other dogs.
